    posted a message on The Hearthstone you knew and loved is gone forever; How does that make you feel?

    Okay, okay. Intense title, I understand. Allow me to explain.

    I mean this on a somewhat trivial level, as I'm sure the people who write "HEARTHSTONE IS DEADEWIRFNBERGIOB" after every expansion release would disagree with me saying it is now gone forever. When I logged in today, to no surprise necessarily, the whole client was different. The part that got me the most was how it now says Hearthstone instead of Play. Tavern Brawl and Solo Adventures are also gone from the main screen, and all of this really got me thinking.

    I've been playing this game for much longer than I had ever really intended to, and new expansions and updates have this ability to sort of morph together as in one day you're looking forward to the Rise of Shadows reveal, to the next it is rotating to Wild. I remember when Awaken the Makers was revealed during the first wave of Un'Goro reveals. I remember thinking how crazy it was that they were switching up the Legendary formula for the first time ever. Since then, they have introduced Hero Cards, Legendary Weapons/Spells, Questlines, the list could go on. There have been so many tiny tweaks and changes to the makeup of Hearthstone here and there, but possibly due to the reason mentioned above, today's changes felt somewhat final. As if there is no turning back. Turning back to what? I'm not necessarily sure. These are just my thoughts.

    What do you think?

    posted a message on Playing Standard after Playing Wild

    Standard is very boring to me. It's a snooze fest for 20 turns, then someone runs out of cards to play, so the other person wins. Card generation is limited, so the same scenarios happen time and time again. I tried playing Evolve Shaman in standard last month, and it was fun for a while. Closest thing you'll get to a fun Standard experience in my opinion. Although I'm probably a little biased. I'm sure a lot of Standard players have the opposite problem with Wild. Explosive hands/decks that end the game by turn 5 or 6.

    The Scourgelords are among the highest ranks of the army of the Scourge.

    Appointed by Kel'Thuzad himself, these powerful soldiers have one thing in mind; spreading death and life after it.

    "Once a notable wizard and alchemist of Dalaran, Noth heard the Lich King's call as Arthas and Kel'Thuzad did. He was quick to turn his back on the Light and joined the Scourge, where he believed that real power lay. Noth, more undead than human, is an extremely powerful necromancer with a various array of deadly spells and curses."

    Showcase Cards:

    This class really likes small minions, especially those with Deathrattle. A new Undead tribe has also been introduced, which I am really excited to expand on. I will quickly break down each of my showcase card choices.

    • The Plague: The infamous blight. Created by the Scourge to turn the living into undead soldiers. That is exactly what I tried to capture with this card, by also attempting to tackle this week's challenge. I tried to word it as closely to Twisting Nether and Cycle of Hatred as possible, because this card spawns the 1/1 Skeletons for you and you only. It may take up all of your mana, but best case scenario, your opponent's turn starts against a board full of the undead.
    • Flask of Death: As I mentioned earlier, Deathrattles will be a huge part of this class's kit. You have the choice of destroying an enemy minion at a discount for a price, or you will be able to use it to destroy a friendly minion and gain a couple of bonuses.
    • Raging Abomination: With all of these small, expendable soldiers at your disposal, you're bound to be able to make a small trade at the start of your turn, which leads to a decent board clear with a fair body.

    Remaining Cards:

    @WKitsune

    Just a few text issues I'm noticing. Make sure Armor and Attack has a capital A, and for Temple Guardian, it should say Taunt. Make sure to put a space between the colon and the first word after it for your Battlecry cards. In Tol'vir Garrison it should say three 2/2. Otherwise, I really like the theme of your class. I've been waiting for a Titan expansion in Hearthstone for ages. This is a neat take on a similar theme

    Wow, I am very sorry Laurendor. I did not realize you had essentially called dibs on The Plaguebringer class. After I went back to the first page I noticed you did in fact make a post about that. I will change the name and identity a bit of my class, but the cards will mostly stay the same.  Sorry again for the confusion

    Updated a couple cards thanks to some great feedback, big change on the Hero Power and Tokens too. I also fixed up some of the arts and got rid of the Ring idea for now.

    Hero Power:

     Updated/New Cards: (I tried to word The Plague like a mix of Twisting Nether and Cycle of Hatred to avoid confusion.)

     Tokens:

     Thank you everyone for the feedback. Hope I was able to improve things a bit

    Wrath of the Plaguebringer really is just a fancy destroy 2 random enemy minions. Keep wording simple in the Basic

     My thoughts behind this card and the reason it isn't 6 mana is because if they have Divine Shield minions up, it will not destroy them. Should I change the card regardless?

    Also, to answer Mvon Tzeskagrad, while it is technically a more expensive Frost Nova, Cripple prevents Rush or Charge minions from attacking as well.

    @JeanTheMedicRat

    I really actually like Unleash the Whelps. I totally see the inspiration from Unleash the Hounds and I actually think they trade off of 1 attack for Rush instead of Charge is fair. Your cards are very flavorful and work well together as a class. Great work so far.

     @MvonTzeskagrad

    Touch of Decay seems a bit weak for me. I also think Auchenai Ritual could be 8 mana without breaking the card. Soul Split is 5 mana and I think 3 mana more is worth one more copy and 1 less health. Otherwise, like I said before I really like how well your cards tie in together thematically. Keep it up.

     @McF4rtson

    Really great job incorporating Armor as a resource in this kit. You've left a lot of room for future design in spending armor on things, as you've created many ways to gain it in the basic set. Do you plan on including any Beast synergy in the future due to the tribe of the Larvae? And when it comes to the two choices, I see the Battlecry one working a little better overall. Great job though, I really dig the class.

     @Klipce

    Mechanically, I can really appreciate how the Hourglasses work. It's essentially a coin with a body that can be buffed. I think Accelerate is a fair middle-ground of Arcane Intelect and Sprint. Sandstorm is a little tricky trough. Sandblast into Sandstorm is a 5 mana 6 damage board clear. I also feel like Blessing of the Bronze works really well at 7 mana on an Hourglass for example. Keep up the great work.

    After a few hours of work, I present:

    The Plaguebringer Class

    The Plaguebringers primary purposes are, well, bringing and spreading the plague. Death and resurrection are what this class thrives on. You will find many cards supporting Deathrattles and board control. This class like to overwhelm others with armies of Undead.

    Basic Cards:

    Tokens:

     (All feedback appreciated, I will be returning to leave feedback myself. Just didn't want to lump all of it up in one post.)
