I have a new, slightly evil hobby these days.
After a match, I will send a friend request. If the person responds and says something nice like GG or well played or thanks etc, I’ll happily chat to them.
If they choose to be a d**k and start straight off with insults (even tho they won, which is comedy gold), I now proceed to write messages and omit some of the words by just writing random symbols.
For example: “Good job with the *{^{*+* deck you %]*%] there. I *^+% you could *[%{+ ** the deck +*]^”!
Translated: Good job with the awesome deck you made there. i wish you could send me the deck list!
That is most nicest evil thing I've read on this forum.

I say we remove all cards and let players duke it out with fisticuffs... like wot proppa gentlemens do, eh?

I would go play Magic the Gathering for a bit.
I always find it a lot more intense and diverse to play. (When HS sees the same decks a lot of the time)
I believe that MtG: Duels is now in a similar vein to Hearthstone (F2P & P2W)

Not that they need the help to get worse right now...

Just remove the "Pirate" tag from STB and job done. Problem solved.
Without Patches in tow, there's much worse 1-drops out there than STB tbh...

Personally I find Troggzor to be an amazing card - though as with some of the others, it needs proper set up to achieve it's momentum correctly. Obviously, drawing this card when you're topdecking and staring down a board full of minions is less than ideal.
But against an empty table it has great value, being able to summon a replacement (if being disposed of).

Can I assume that Pirate Warrior decks get tougher above rank 5 or so?
Only because they aren't half as terrifying at the lower levels here than seemingly made out to be - I'm guessing this is in part due to more misplays at this sort of level?
That's a legitimate question. (Not trolling)
Sure, I've lost a couple against them but so far the one's I've come up against seem to crumble after you drop a few taunts and removals.
I'm playing heavy Dragon Priest and Undying Shaman at the moment, so that might be partly why I do well against this deck perhaps.
