posted a message on Introducing the Core Set, Classic Format, Legacy Set & More!

It amuses me that 9 new deck slots is literally the most exciting thing about this update for me! XD

The other stuff is cool as well, but just lessening the aggravation of having to ditch decks I love just try new ones out is gold dust! :-D

posted a message on The Innkeeper Returns!

Hi folks - I know there's been a long period of time with the Innkeeper not working and your patience has been greatly appreciated, especially with the low volume of information on its progress.
As mentioned before, the devs are aware of the issues, but while it is on their backlog for looking into, they are swamped with other very urgent issues at the moment - and have been for a while. (I am told)
The IK is still intended to be worked on, but at present there is still no change in its development stage I am afraid. Sorry to those who are disappointed by this.
Also, while I do continue to check on your behalf for any updates on the program (as it is one I liked using as well), I can't do any more than this as I am simply a forum moderator for this site and not a member of staff. If you have any direct queries that require a staff member, please direct them to XSKarma.
You can also contact a staff member directly or in the tech help section on our Discord channel.

Happy Xmas and New Year everyone!

As mentioned. This is a known issue and there have been countless threads pointing it out.
    No need for more.

posted a message on U guys might forget that we had Fallen Sun Cleric

Wriggling Horror is really just a weaker* version of Fungelmancer - which I think is a probably more relevant comparison in terms of its effect.
Fungelmancer was deemed too powerful for a long time. I expect that this card may get revisited at some point - but in fairness there are much worse cards in DH in need of attention right now.

*Maybe. It comes into play earlier and for cheaper, so can be more consistent - which I suppose could technically make it at least as strong.

posted a message on Genn - C'Thun, the Shattered bug

I've been tinkering with an Even Mage deck for fun and had the idea of adding C'Thun, the Shattered as a way to work in a few odd cards into the deck. Most of the time, Genn Greymane activates then C'Thun shatters. Every so often, Genn doesn't discount my hero power. The interaction seems bugged, but I can't figure out the pattern. Has anyone else tried this and experienced something similar?

This is not a bug, it's how the game works (and has been confirmed).
Both Genn's and C'thun's powers are "Start of Game" triggers. They both get put into a "queue" and will trigger in the order that they are stacked (by the game).
So, If Genn triggers first, then it thinks C'thun is a 10-mana card. If C'thun triggers first, then it will put the 5-mana cards in the deck and then you won't get the HP upgrade.

Thanks for the comment. I understand that each would get put into a queue and trigger in order. I've done enough programing to grasp the mechanics behind that. What I can't figure is why this would be randomized (especially since there's impact based on that order)? Just feels like sloppy programing. (I know I sound biased since I clearly want my Genn to always trigger, but) I think there should be a conditional for Genn that parses for deck state before any 'start of game' effects are triggered otherwise it doesn't feel like an actual 'start of game' effect. It's more of a 'before the game begins but after other things have happened' trigger.

Hey! My comment was intended as purely factual with no intended condescension or anything to that effect. (in case it was misconstrued - I could have perhaps stated it a little more explanatorily maybe)
The reason for randomisation (in my opinion as a Software Engineer - I don't have any knowledge of the actual code design) would be to help prevent manipulation of the game. If you know the exact ordering of how events will come off the queue, then you can manipulate how it works to your advantage.
Whereas Hearthstone is all about the randomisation so I suppose it makes more sense from their side to keep it as such.
Of course, that's all speculation - and it could just be lazy / sloppy coding, or a side effect of the way the system works; which isn't technically a bug, but is more just the way it plays out from a code perspective.

If you truly don't want Blizzard to make money from you, stop playing the game and stop paying for it.
If you don't want to lose your account, don't bot/automate the game. You will get banned for it.
If you don't care about the game, don't play it any more.
If you do care about the game, you need to care about the company that makes it and that they need to stay afloat.

Bottom line is : There is literally no reason for them to give ANY  rewards to people who play this game. Gold rewards and quests etc weren't even in the original game, they were added later. But people are selfish and greedy and entitled, and now demand more things even when they are given stuff for free.

Blizzard is generous but players are greedy. Best joke ever.

     Best misquote ever.

posted a message on the game crashes when i try to add last opponent

No innuendo intended (and it certainly wasn't an accusation) - it was a joke. Sorry :-)
I've heard people make that complaint before (on the official forums) and it turned out they were inviting almost every player after losing a game, and then flaming, etc. And then the bug happened and they thought it meant they were banned. ;-)
