Saw this on Youtube. It looks amazing. With some further refinement it can only get better. Thanks for posting the list!

This game has so much potential. And it's just constantly squandered by the idiots in Team 5.

Imagine the game without mana cheating, without zero cost bullshit.  That could be the game.

Edit: also imagine the game without this stupid fucking Kazakusan.

Agree 100%.  Shadowstep should have been removed a long time ago. And here we are, with yet another lost opportunity to properly balance Rogue, as it remains in the core set for another year.

Sadly, entirely consistent with the awful development team that seems to have no idea what to do and just resorts to the same tricks they're familiar with, over and over again. The worst one being mana cheating.

For God's sake, come up with something different for Rogue already.

It's looking to me like OTK/burn will continue to dominate, but there are quite a few different cards being released too. It could all change if they'd bring in some cards like Dirty Rat or Loatheb, since those really punish heavily spell-based decks.

Bruh Loatheb is the ultimate aggro denial/lockout tool against removal, have you not seen enough of Cult Neophyte?!!
Aggro becomes a larger problem if Loatheb is around…

That's the point... Guess which type of deck runs the most removal and no taunts, rush, etc. Hint: it's not board-centric decks.

So u want an aggro meta with 20 IQ plays…

Sorry but i rather have back and forth aggro/midrange meta than uninteractive race to busted Kazakusan , boring as hell removal only do nothing for the entire game Control or OTK decks that just kill you from hand when you least expect it and there's nothing you can do. (I did a quick search and realized that these are your favorites, unlike you I will not try to offend anyone who likes this style because I think they are necessary in the game, all archetypes are as long as they are balanced)

     +1000!

posted a message on When was the turning point?

Game is absolute shit right now.  Ramp Druid, Freeze Shaman, Poison Rogue, Mozaki Mage. Each deck is designed to eliminate any board interaction between you and your opponent, or just allow you to mana cheat your way to an early victory. The development team is awful and has been for years. They need some new blood. People willing to admit, "We've done a shit job for a long time and something needs to change." I'm not too optimistic.

This only seems to work wel in Libram Paladin, if you have discounts librams ready to go. In buff Paladin, there are better choices at 3 mana.

There are a lot of cards competing for the 3 drop slot now in Paladin.

This card could really shine post-rotation in April. Time will tell.

Sometimes you will get something amazing from this - e.g. a copy of conviction you wouldn't otherwise include that lets you win the game. But it's possible to get nothing but trash too. I'll try it out.

posted a message on Is Burgle Rogue really that big of a deal?
    Quote from brother >>

Ive been reviewing the meta heavily both playing the burgle rogue deck and playing against it with other classes and my main takeaways are as follows:

    1. Poison Rogue is a much more uninteractive, degenerate archetype that shouldn’t exist in this game compared to the burgle deck. It’s in the same vein as garrote except for the hope that you will draw a viper in time (if you’re running one) or otherwise lose because they’ll either give their hero stealth to stall until they kill you or Garrote you to death. It’s a showcase of all the worst aspects of this game all rolled into one and a deck that can highroll into an early 4/5 does not compare.

    2. There is not enough attention in regard to the toxicity of this deck, maybe because some people see it as “fun” but Guff Druid is out of control at the moment. I’m willing to bet that if Scabbs or Rogue gets nerfed like everyone is asking for every other deck you see in ladder will be a Ramp Druid summoning two 8 cost minions and gaining 16 armor before discovering Yogg-Saron with a resizing pouch and stealing the game. This and the poision rogue list are way bigger problems than any tempo-based deck imo

Agree 100%. Rogue is enemy #1 but Druid will be a problem if they don't address the preposterous things Guff decks can do. Lightning Bloom is a major problem here, which I think rotates in April. But that's months away.

posted a message on Future of Heartstone.

The game needs a massive reboot. They had a chance last year with the new core set for each class but they blew it. Too many broken idiot cards remain and the sets are simply too powerful.

There is so much potential here, but it's just wasted. I hope the entire Team 5 is fired and new blood is brought in.

I cannot put into words how much I hate Garrote Rogue. It just ruins the game. They have given Rogue everything imaginable:

    • Insane card draw
    • The ability to OTK your opponent by turn 6(!) or turn 7 or 8
    • Removal cards that allow you remove both multiple minions or large minions, all through the (ab)use of Shadowstep
    • Randomly generated mage cards - something Rogue should never had had access to in the first place (Scholomance's dual class cards were either broken or useless)
    • Mana discount that no other class can replicate (Octobot)
    • Spell damage cards that are tradeable so if you draw them early, no downside, just trade 'em away and find it when you need it

The only thing worse than facing this asshole deck is hearing from the "pros" who play it brag that it's a "high-skill" deck.  As if that were true somehow that would justify how OP it is and how it just shuts down every other deck. Games can't go past turn 8 or you just lose.

The only way to win is to play all these stupid aggro decks we see now, and even they don't always win.

I just want to feel like I have a chance against any opponent I face. And that it shouldn't be unusual for a game to go into late turns. Delete this disgusting deck from the game.

This fucking Rogue deck has got to be nerfed or deleted. Every game they draw their entire deck by turn 6 or 7 and kill you. You can be at 30 health, it doesn't matter. It is absolutely fucking ridiculous. The amount of mana cheating and card draw they get is absurd.

I don't know what dipshit on Team 5 has such a hard-on for this class (e.g. Edwin Van Cleef lasting forever). But this has to change.

posted a message on Hearthstone not fun in this state

What is so infuriating about the state of the meta is that Team 5 pretends like nothing's wrong. There seems to be no rush to fix things, and no admission that the last round nerfs was woefully inadequate. They should all be fired. They're so bad at their jobs, and just don't give a crap. But Iksar tweets a lot at people!!!! Wow, what a hero.

posted a message on Quest Mage is unstoppable.

Ignite is also pure bullshit. It allows them to have infinite cards / damage.

You know what really pisses me off? That the Auctioneer is back in so many decks. The game feels similar - but worse - to past stupid metas where a player could draw their entire deck using that card and finish off an opponent. The game should feel new each expansion. Yet this feels like I'm reliving a nightmare, except now it's even worse.

They should never have put Auctioneer in the core set. What a dumb decision.

posted a message on New Paladin Epic Card Revealed - First Blade of Wrynn

This card has potential. I find turn 4 is often a weak turn in Paladin now, unless you have Cariel. It depends on if the divine shield / handbuff strategy will work or not. I'm skeptical unless some of the other cards available buff your hand.

There's no way that Invigorating Sermon ever sees play, so we need some new cards to make this work.

I am optimistic about the Prismatic Jewel Kit but if you don't draw that in your opening hand it isn't very good. Paladin needs something more.
