Back in the slower days of Hearthstone, when the Yeti of Chillwind was a force to be reckoned with, Mid-range Shaman was quite a formidable deck. People have often tried at creating that amazing control Shaman that ran Ancestral Call, Fire Elemental, and Healing Wave, maybe even a dash of Elemental Destruction. With this card and the hopeful slowing down of the meta game via Standard, perhaps this could be the support option that Shaman needs to claw it's way back into being a non-aggro class once again. I don't know about you guys, but I miss being able to roll out heavy curve Shaman deck.
I was following the decklist so closely but your right! Healbot is a way more viable choice. I beat this without out it, ....so that means I'm cool and senpai will notice me?? :3
Thank you! Been wanting to beat this for months now. I made a few minor tweaks to give the deck some heft. I pulled out Hand of Protection for x2 Seal of light for extra damage on charge guys. I also took out Lights Justice x2 and put in 2 Peacekeeper for when I needed to set the board up after Consecration. Lastly, removed 1 Hammer of Wrath for LEROY!!Jenkins. He really helped pull out the W on this one.
The only thing that kinda sucks about this deck is if any of the following are played before you draw/play Consecration: Shade of Nax, Sludge Belcher, Even Dire Wolf Alpha if you can't answer it. I found that if they hit the board your out of luck.
For 6 mana you can play Sunwalker, Piloted Sky Golem, or even Boulderfist Ogre cards that useful 100% that you cast it. This guy is 6 mana take a 50/50 shot at getting great value or terrible value. Now then the question becomes, is 1/1 of stats worth taking a huge gamble on? I would argue, no.
Do you cut an Equality in control for this? You often times will Equality Consecrate to clear the board, and this card is basically the two cards together and reflects the mana cost. I think I'll try it.
I think Token Paladin will be a deck toyed with when the set hits. Muster, Justicar True Heart, Silverhand Elf (The one with the big breast..plate) and this. Your hero power could suddenly become, "Summon 3-4 minions on 2 mana"
I could see a Priest control deck that runs x2 of these and x2 Northshire Cleric. You play this on the turn you do a huge Northshire Circle combo, draw 2-4 cards (typically) and have them be reduced.
Sorry good (sir I'm guessing?) , these cards got revealed right as I got off work and I was reading them with my eyes half open. You are correct. I thought it read +1/+1.

I wonder if this is the "Counter to the PW decks" the devs were talking about a few weeks ago.

Great for Arena. Cool for Bane of Doom. Another decent Void Caller drop. Good for a the budget demon deck. BGH proof. No drawback. I like it.

Can't wait for this to discard my Malganis and Healbot while killing 2 Unleash the Skill tokens.....

I think this is the "unfairness" that Trump always speaks about when talking about deck viability. a 3/7 Taunt on 4 mana is really good.
