So I just played a casual game to have fun with a Molten Giant OTK deck.
Pally is at 30 HP the whole game playing aggro, I'm behind trying to catch up... Pally gets me to 1 HP on turn 9, I played my molten giant and used Alexstrasza to heal myself up to 15 HP > Pally gets me to 3 HP, I have Alex and Giant on field. I didn't have lethal in my hand, so I used Auctioneer + Heroic strike (7mana) - I draw another Molten Giant, play it for 0 mana, and use Charge (3mana) on it! 30 damage turn!! 8+8+4+10 - alex/molten/heroic/moltencharge.
It was pretty epic :D
Deck list if anyone is interested...just a for fun deck
@JONfiero, been trying your deck in ranked around rank 14, it's doing pretty well, but there are still certain things I'm having major issue with. Possibly looking for tips?
I got absolutely destroyed by a handlock on turn 6, didn't have my Aldor Peacekeeper in hand when he put down his mountain giant on turn 3?...put out as many taunts as I could but the mountain giant and one siphon soul got rid of those, when he added in a twilight drake and Leeroy, I was a goner. It was honestly the first handlock I've seen as most around the rank I've been at have been zoo locks, so when choosing cards at the start I tried to choose what would help me with zoo. Any tips?
Also, I absolutely hate miracle rogues. I hate them soooooo much. Pretty much the only thing I have not hated a miracle rogue on when I've played them is a shockadin. Is there ANYTHING that can be done? I mean, this guy put auctioneer down on turn 6 and concealed it, I did a wild pyromancer+equality and got rid of it, but he still somehow managed to get a questing adventurer to 15/8 next turn. I didn't have an aldor peacekeeper (yet again), faceless'd his adventurer, put down a taunt. Turn 8 he saps my taunt, pulls out Leeroy, shadowsteps it, and kills me in one turn. I'm SOOOOO sick of miracle rogues. I absolutely don't believe them when they say it's "difficult" to play, every single one I run into seems to pull off the combo effortlessly every single game no matter what I do.
What's your ign? Add me if you want - Jonney#1507
I've got a friend who has been trying this deck around that rank as well and he has not had any luck. I THINK it's just his playstyle, you want to play reactively with Control, so if your opponent has a clear board, you most likely want to hero power pass.
Add me if you feel like talking/dueling in game! :D
Healadin has been killing Miracle rogue and Handlock pretty easily - some argue these are the strongest decks.
Pally has an answer for every giant handlock has to throw at you > 2 Aldor Peacekeepers, BGH, Equality.
And 46 healing power along with ~6 taunts is enough to stop Miracle rogue's stupidness.
So far I've been steadily climbing ranks. The only thing is, it's control (which I enjoy)...so prepare for a 10-20 minute battle.
How is it vs zoo and face hunter? 99.99999999% of what I see.
Doing very well in all matchups. Currently rank 3 - steadily climbing :D
Vs Zoo you want ERF and Aldor Peacekeeper early, and of course consecration. If you can make it to turn 6 you usually win.
Vs Hunter same thing, but your mulligan isn't quite as important. Don't have more than 2 minions on board early-mid game and you'll be fine.
And how do you deal with control priests? Especially if you're not lucky enough to see your equality for the entirety of the matchup? :(
The ones I run into also ALWAYS seem to thoughtsteal my Tirion. Always. That's my luck. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've never run into a priest who has NOT taken my Tirion out of my deck. Would it be worth running an ooze?
Control priest is a long fight. You'll usually have owl in your hand to deal with 1 Tirion. Priest is a huge threat, there have been 2 games where the priest thoughtstole a Tirion, and then MC's my Tirion... I lost both games because I couldn't deal with the 2nd Tirion. After playing those games I want to add Harrison Jones to my deck...but only in those games, which are few and far between. I just accept the loss and move on.
Adding TBK could also work against you playing vs priest > Thoughtsteal TBK xD
You may want to try Spellbreaker in place of Stampeding Kodo for a backup silence with a nice body. I would also suggest switching 1 Defender of Argus for a second Sunfury Protector. Defender of Argus really doesn't achieve value unless you are taunting up 2 creatures and Sunfury Protector can be used as a straight early game minion to stave off aggression if need be. A lot of pros call her the "Totem Killer" as well if you're facing Shaman.
Otherwise I like it :) +1 good sir.
While I agree Spellbreaker is a nice card, I think the 2xKeepers are enough silence for the deck. Kodo so stronk, such value! xD
I'll try the argus > sunfury swap to help the curve. Thanks! :)

Fun mill rogue, standard with N'Zoth. Lots of RNG.

Most noticeably a card for self-inflicting warriors. Very nice!

The deck has a chance to OTK...

What a fun game... These sort of 'OMG' moments happen quite often! GJ Blizzard.

Love this deck... I took a harvest golem out for an execute - been fighting many druids and handlocks.
Thank you Colma!

Druid Mill Deck will be fun :D

Try using a kodo until you can craft a BGH.

Give this one a shot, try replacing the Cairne with a second Sunwalker?
I've been playing this deck for 4 days and I've climbed from rank 16 to 4 with it.

Awww I missed this :(
