Loooooool 3/5 patron????? This card is insane. Needs more time to set up in warrior but 5 health on the spawns? yeah have fun clearing those boards. Broken AF
The spawns wouldn't have 5 health. If this takes one damage and then summons a copy of itself, it would be a 3/4.

One of the most straightforward ways of measuring the relative power levels of class Legendaries is to simply look at play-rates in Wild on HSReplays. For the most part, there isn't a "close second" in any class.
Lots of Legendaries have been nerfed, or soft-nerfed when their supporting cards were targeted for re-balancing.

Dragon Roar just keeps getting stronger.

guldan for warlock.... it even a discussion? main piece in one of the most opresive decks in hearthstone 5 year history , so dominant it ruined the witchwood because even without n'zoth it was still that dominant. How dominant? they had to nerf the shit out of it and it is still viable.
Shuderwock for shaman , your list is a joke ma dude.

Warrior - Grommash Hellscream
It's just the perfect fit for the class in terms of its effect and flavor. Auto-include in most Warrior decks as a finisher.
The best legendary for Warrior always will be Jussicar Truehart. Lol

but what if you dont want the battlecry?

I think this creates an interesting decision point during the mulligan.
If the meta is Hecklebot-heavy, combo decks will need to make the tough decision on whether to hamstring themselves by keeping a key but ultimately dead card in their hand from the start of the game (e.g. Mecha'thun) or run the risk of it being pulled and ending their game on the spot.

As a wild player I rly don't mind this card existing, but isn't it kind of a weird design?

They might as well add this Card to the wild rotation because it is not going to see play in standard lol.
3
let's balance it a little bit: froglord 9 mana 3/9 with Taunt, Divine Shield, Windfury, Deathrattle: summon three 1/3 frogs with Charge, Poisonous

with the Rotation coming up in April I would not recommend buying Karazhan anymore, which means you either go by the guide and replace it as stated above "Malchezaar's Imp: Hungry Crab, versus murlocadin/ Spellbreaker, versus control and cube warlocks." or go with fire fly which is a solid card and it has decent synergy with the deck.
