played rogue on first day. Warriors with weapon removal, mages with double oozes and harrisson, hunters with oozes, ROGUES with oozes, shaman with Oozes...if you dont think weapon removal doesnt need nerfs, go try and play rogue yourself. ROgue does not need any nerfs

Even with all that tech, only Warrior has positive wr against Rogue. You are just giving more reasons for nerfing Rogue.

And where do you get those facts from?

All the crying about raiding party or a big edwin on should stop. I also get giants against me on turn 3 or a hunter with 3 mechs on turn 1, druid with a full board of small shit I cant clear etc.

Let's compare: Arcane Intellect vs Raiding Party
Arcane Intellect is arguably one of the best card draw in the game.
yet it looks x trash compared with Raiding party.

Raiding Party tutors 2 specific cards and that already makes it a supeiror Arcane Intellect.

can also combo to draw 3 cards and again tutors a weapon.

even if this card was 5 mana i would still think it's too good

You should not compare cards between classes. Mage and other classes have cards that are obviously better than that of rogue. If you still want to compare it, why not with Book of Specters, which draws 3, for only 2 mana most of the times and is pretty amazing in giant mage

Why nerf Waggle pick? Are people just to lazy to add weapon removal to their decks? Ooze on the pick hugely disrupts rogue play.

It's not so much the Bounce Back effect that's the problem. It's the fact that Waggle Pick allows you to play the two, free 3/3 Taunts that the Rogue player inevitably has after the Preparation, Raiding Party play the turn before.

If it was a 3/3 or a 3/2 then this would slow the deck down slightly. At least enough for thier opponents to at least look for an answer.

This is turn 4 at the soonest. You have time enough to prepare for this. Especially since rogue has no significant play other than maybe coin/miscreant. Being able to play miscreant before turn 4 and the pick+ corsairs almost never happens.

I just got used oozes against me and this is more than sufficient to disrupt me severly.

Why start complaining about edwin after being 5 years in the game? A big edwin on turn 2-3 happens once every 5 games. Yes, it's frustrating, but so is an 8/8 giant on turn 3 and a board full on turn 5.

I am not saying that warrior needs nerfing, but I really don`t understand how people can claim it has no T1 decks. Let's look at the facts:

-It's it the second most played class after rogue.

-after rogue (15) it is the second deck at HTC (13).

-it has one of the highest winrates, it differs depening on what site you check.

-it has the best single target removel: shield slam. Hunter`s mark needed nerfing at 1 mana? Why not shield slam?

-it has the bset AOE: Brawl and Warpath.

-it has the best hero with infinite power, some classes dont even have one.

-best weapon removal in the game with weapon project. Yes, oozes and harrison are good too, this is just better.

-amazing hand refill with omega assembly. A lot of other classes have nice draw ability as well, but some don`t. Say hi to another Zilliax or omega devastator.

-amazing minions. Dire maul was played in a lot decks, well Eternium rover is better. Town crier, Dino-matic, omega devastator, Dr. Boom

-Some classes maybe have 1viable deck, warrior has endless variations with a core of 25 cards that are amazing.

Previous expansion warrior was already in a good place and has lost not much in power, in contrast to most other classes.

Everyone plays the same rogue and warrior decks. Of course they `well played` me when they win with their overpowered retarded copy pasta decks that my grandmother can play to legend. the few times I play my own rogue decks. I only get more warriors with 3 weapon removal cards...uncreative tryhards at legend 11000

I don`t understand why people say that warrior is not T1. It is a free win against the most played class 9 out of 10 games. 50% of the streamers play it. Why is that? because it's a bad deck? It's the 2nd most played class? Why would everyone play it if it is not T1? Everybody just copies the most popular decks that do well? You have a problem with druids? Adapt, like some people do. Most people don`t, but just copy a popular deck. I don`t think warriors need nerfing, I think other classed need similar card like Dr. Boom mad genius.

I also don`t understand the crying for nerf rogues. I used to to think so as well when I was playing Murloc shammy and every rogue destroyed me. Now I tried some rogue myself and just get farmed by Warriors and everyone else who just runs 2 or more weapon removals to disturb rogue plays. As HS has always been rock, paper, scissors.

Running this at rank 1 at the moment. So close, but rogues keep pushing me back. I feel that teching oozes weakens it too much against other set-ups.

I know druid/rogue or warriors will give me better chances at getting there, but I haven`t made it with Shaman yet and really want to get it done for once :)

    Murloc ROS
Export to BBCode Export to Cockatrice Export to MarkDown Export to Html Clone this deck
    Minion (21) Ability (7) Weapon (2)
    Loading Collection

    I

Thanks for the list! How do you feel about running Rain of frogs? Currently I am running two copies. Also, how important do you feel Scargil is? ( been thinking about crafting him, seems fun)

Finally made it to legend with the deck. I have not tried the toads yet. I could be a nice addition as it synergises with bloodlust. Likkim, and can protect your murlocs, on the other hand, it might be too slow and better suited for control shammy

Changed lava burst for Rain of Toads and can definately say that I am happy with the change. I can actually beat rogues on occassion now..

After more thought, I dont`t think the average winrates say all that much. A lot of match-ups feel really polarized. Try playing against a warrior with Rogue. Goof luck, you will not win 46 out of 100. At legend at least, All I see is warriors with weapon removal, rogues with weapon removel, now even druids with weapon removal and some mages with weapon removal. Perhaps the other classes win rates are not correct because they are hardly played at legend, only at lower ranks where people makes more mistakes and you can actually win.

It's dumb that people at legend 7000 keep playing the same overpowered deck, not trying anything new or think for themselves. It's almost the same with streamers. I dont care watching you perform well with your standard rogue or warrior deck. At least Thijs is trying to be createve, play around with his own creations.

In short, the new shiny stuff is already getting boring

Why? it is kept in check by Khadgar mage and warrior?

I don't play Rogue so I don't know. Is that true? If so, I take your point, perhaps I am just struggling against it.

That being said, it does seem to be seeing surprisingly high levels of play. My twitter feed is full of pros bragging about high legend status with some version of the common Rogue deck.

Not sure about Mage, but Warrior does hard counter Rogue.

True, maybe I am not that great with rogue and still learning. Only faced a few mages, but lost of all them. It's probably me. For Warrior, I can just almost auto concede now. Especially since all of them run Weapons Project x2 and some also Harrison in addition.

Just hit rank 1 with Mech Paladin. 50% of my games today during the grind from 2-1 were Rogues. It took me 10 games to get there.

    So 5 Rogues

    3 Warriors

    1 Zoolock

And an honourable mention to some guy playing "big" or "duel" paladin. He lost, but it terrified me when he pulled a massive minion on turn 5.

Edit: To be clear, I think we have a very healthy meta, but I think Rogue needs a nerf. I just don't know exactly what should be done.

It depends on where you look. On metastats zoolock is not that far of from the other classes.

When you see rogues and warriors run lots of weapon removal, you know enough about the current meta..
