Card generation upsets a lot of players, but also allows for more game variety and situational play.
Possible fix: Why not make generated cards known to both players?
The player generating cards can still respond flexibly to the game state, but her or his opponent will have a much better idea of what to expect and can plan and play accordingly.
kind of okay with the idea... similar to TCGs wherein you have to prove / show to your opponent that the card you tutored is indeed the one mentioned in the card played
"Search your library / deck for X card and show it to your opponent, afterwards, shuffle the deck"
somewhat gives you an idea that a said card is in hand and gives you a chance to play around it (as you said) but I don't think blizz will implement such mechanics...
What card/s do you think would do good in this meta (talking about Standard here)? These cards are not necessarily bad cards but these are cards that would have done good to make a difference in today's meta. Examples are:
Nice ideas. Was really thinking about Shaman yesterday (toying with Elemental Shaman) and realized that Shaman just has too many mechanics going on at this point.
Overload
If you are Overloaded
Murlocs
Play a spell the turn prior
Play an elemental the turn prior
The last of the two is a let-down since it probably would've been better if Marshspawn and Shattered Rumbler could trigger even if you cast the spell the current turn. Same probably with those that requires having used an Elemental (e.g., Liliypad Lurker and Arid Stormer) the turn prior (would've been better if it also allowed the use of an Elemental on that same turn). Maybe this could actually be a keyword as well like:
Recycle: If you did it this turn or last turn.
Then maybe Landslide could read: "Deal 1 damage to all enemy minions. Recycle Overload, deal 1 damage again"
Or Marshspawn. "Battlecry: Recycle Spell, Discover a Spell"
Although there might be a better keyword for it. Haha. Might help you with more ideas.
What if Deck of Lunacy worked like Zayle, Shadow Cloak or Whizbang the Wonderful wherein it gives you a deck instead composed of random spells that cost three less?
For those unfamiliar how the two aforementioned cards work, when you use either of the two to create a deck, it is the only card in the deck as it uses pre-made decks. In this case however, it could read like "At the start of the game, shuffle 30 random spells to your deck and then transform them into one that costs three more. It keeps its original cost."
Testing out new things and realized that Devouring Plague ticks 4 times if your health is below 27 and hence reduces Flesh Giant's cost by 4. Looking for replacement suggestions for some cards.
If you double cast a Moontouched Amulet thanks to Solar Eclipse, Y'shaarj will not give you an additional Amulet after that. Don't know if this is intended or not

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the only neutral giant left in Standard is Clockwork Giant

The deck is technically a Corrupted Priest

Technically you only played one Moontouched Amulet. Y'Shaarj, the Defiler reads for each corrupted card you've played...
