I recently tried out Gwent, which has a similar card rarity system as Hearthstone. However in Gwent, disenchanting a common gives 10 scraps (dust), and crafting a Legendary or Epic costs respectively 800 and 200 scraps. Well, that makes a 4x difference. Poor us Hearthstone players lol
I understand that most of you don’t care about Wild, but as a Wild player, I’d say that Raza Priest is already dominating with very few weaknesses. This card would make it just worse.
I guess an aggro Mage in Wild could be viable, with this, Ice Lance, Forgotten Torch, Flamewaker, and of course Ice Block which will say goodbye soon. Seriously, when Ice Block is out, Mage really need some more alternative late-game choices besides the DK. Or could it be that Mage in Standard would become a more aggro class?
I love fun decks and combo decks, for example Paladin with Holy Wrath, Druid with Astral Communion and Priest with Prophet Velen. I also love Freeze Mage. Sorry for those who hate Freeze Mages :P
Wow that's cool, and thanks for sharing! Really hope Blizzard can include more interactions between classic WOW characters when played. There have been some, but wish there were more...
I'm a Chinese and I'll share my opinion on this. Personally I consider such censorship to be quite ridiculous, while I don't really care about it being a helmet or a skull. I believe that most people in China feels just the same way as you guys do when they see skeletons or ghosts or whatever, at least in our younger generation. Nonetheless, the censorship can be indeed VERY ridiculous at times, as I once watched a video on Youtube about censorship on WOW in China where they turn flesh and bones into loaves of bread...
Personally I believe Eater of Secrets is enough as a tech counter. Besides, since this card has been one of the Mage class identity, I guess a nerf would be too much for Mage-lovers, and it would destroy so many long-existing decks. Rotating it is kindof not a bad idea, and we can make Standard a more welcoming environment for newly-released cards and decks, while Wild is a more fun environment that welcomes any idea.

Is our smartest Dr. Boom hacking the system with... his fist?

First play Coldlight Oracle to fill up your opponent’s hand, to destroy the Ransom... Seems more like a meme though...

How can you guys do such cruel things to a *Princess*, over and over again... Pity her...

Well somehow the first glance at this card reminds me of Sylvanas... Anybody with the same feeling?
