with standard coming so soon, and the massive change in card pool it brings with it, the very idea that we know every card in TGT that will see competitive play is ridiculous.
Rogue's version of Herald Volazj. A bit more reliable to activate (cheaper, can have 2 copies), and gives another combo enabler, but less immediately powerful. interesting.
Y'Shaarj, Rage Unbound is meh, could be good is certain decks, but is boring. And i could see a deck featuring the other 3 gods, but Y'Shaarj breaks the entire game plan with his effect.
I'm not sure breaking Yogg-Saron's game plan is a bad idea
Would be 1 "good" outcome in a deck full of battlecries(the other 2 gods and the cultists), so it's not a good idea.
And notice that i said "good", because Yogg is still a last resort card, kinda like i see Deathwing, but crazier! So it is possible that in case of a certain death you just want to pull the trigger and see what happens.
I agree with you entirely. But unless you are planning on going to fatigue I wouldn't worry too much about pulling out a god you may not even draw otherwise.
Besides, i doubt more than 2 of old gods in a single deck would work well since they all require building around with different types of cards. Still, I made decks for all 5 dragon aspects and I'll no doubt do the same for the old gods just for fun.

Have a look at the GameInformer site for what lore exists. I don't think Ben Brode's response is Warcraft canon, but he basically says The Ancient One was a general in an old god army, and killing him didn't stop his blood from being able to recreate him.
I agree. For now we can't assume BGH won't be able to kill it.
I hope it doesn't just get a higher cost, but as long as it is changed so that class specific hard removal is worth using instead, i guess it won't matter much how it is done.
I think you're missing the fact that you don't have to play it on turn 4. Tomb Pillager is certainly better then. But later on the small body is less important (does it really matter if it's a 3/2 or a 3/3 on turn 5 onwards?). Plus rogue is, by its tempo nature, able to recover from that loss fairly well. AND the toxins are nearly good enough to be cards by themselves, and are certainly more versatile that mere combo activators.
Think of Sprint. The tempo of that card is way worse, doing nothing to the board with 7 mana (or 4 with prep, but that costs tempo later on and still does less to the board than Xaril). But rogues use it and recover from it just fine. In fact, following turns are often very weak without it, so in some sense you have to lose tempo to sustain it.
In short, even tempo decks CAN use a few low tempo, value cards and get away with it.
Also, try Anub'arak against control warrior. I have done this many times, and because they don't usually run enough/any silences, you pretty much win automatically.

minor buff to raptor-rogue when playing against hunters. Undercity Huckster would love to draw this

Free golden hero powers! Also, if you already have golden hero powers, nothing feels worse than stealing your opponents non-golden one :P

normally spamming emotes ("Well met" and "I am sorry" come to mind) when they really don't fit the situation.
Other reasons to not feel bad exist, but they depend on the player.

This card has a whole set of manners built in.
If you think your opponent deserves the win, you are quite free to concede rather than play Yogg.
However, if the opponent has had bad manners of his own, then there's really no worry about rolling a dice to possibly steal the win or force a draw.

Step 1: Fill the board with patrons
Step 2: Fill your hand with 5 mana 3/3 s...
I doubt all those new patrons are quite as useful as they first seem.

My guess is the first, unsilenced one played will determine whether it is golden, since that ability would trigger first?

Quote on BGH nerf: http://www.hearthpwn.com/?page=5 , in the IGN interview.
"Big Game Hunter pushes in an unhealthy direction. It can limit design space. It's high on the list of cards to look at."
(Note: as time goes on it is going to move further back. This link is correct on 5th April 2016)
