i had the most ridiculous mage deck ever: it was a Reno deck (my only duplicate was an Azure Drake) and I had Archmage Antonidas, Animated Armor and an Antique Healbot. once I played Reno, I played the Armor and he couldn't kill me since I had the double health perk (healed a lot from Reno) and passive Stealth (couldn't do anything about my Animated Armor)

user-28440009 posted a message on Yogg-Saron, Hope's EndPosted in: Yogg-Saron, Hope's EndI was playing a very bad version of Resurrect Priest against a Malygos Druid at Rank 19 (?). I Thoughtstealed his Yogg. I played it and i got a board clearer, lots of secrets, card draw and Call of the Wild.
He plays his own Yogg. Cast Shadowstep on itself.
I love when RNG helps the ones that don't deserve it.

Mogg_Maniac posted a message on Mayor NoggenfoggerPosted in: Mayor NoggenfoggerOK it is not going to see serious ladder play. But Mayor is a pretty fun card to use in a casual deck. I've gotten a couple of frustrated opponents to concede. It really needs to cost about 7 and Blizzard needs to fix it so that it all targets are indeed chosen randomly instead of attacks always hitting your minions.
I think my favorite use is casual completion of that 8 cost minion quest. Just include in a ramp druid deck and opponent will take 3 or 4 turns trying to get rid of it while you play out big minions. When opponent finally gets rid of him, you will have a much bigger board.

kanazak posted a message on The MistcallerPosted in: The MistcallerThis card, if played on turn 5 (Coin) or 6, can make every single other minion in your deck have the same tempo advantage relative to similar-cost minions that Totem Golem has. It's absolutely absurd.
However, the late arrival of the card into play (6 mana), the fact that it's a Legendary and thus one-of, and the fact it's a poor tempo play means that it's generally balanced*. It's a shame that Shaman is almost all aggro or Jade now, as that means this card never really sees play in conventional meta decks.
* The poor tempo play thing may not really be such a big deal when you consider that Overload makes most of the best Shaman cards such phenomenal tempo plays that having a single poor tempo turn shouldn't be such a huge loss. Many control decks have poor tempo turns, especially in the currently-key early game, which the Shaman class doesn't have to deal with so much.

Nimm90 posted a message on White EyesPosted in: White EyesYou're saying he's "devastatingly weak to silence" and yet you're comparing it to Tirion and Sylvanas. Seems to me that a silenced 5 mana 5/5 is way better than a 6 5/5 or an 8 6/6. And neither of those are "stupidly strong" the moment you play them because their deathrattles are actually their strength.
Anyway, if I draw a 5 10/10 I'm sure as hell not waiting for the late game to play it...

Fuck Paladin. Arena, brawls, wild casual, wild ranked, standard casual, standard ranked. They're just everywhere. Top decking lethals, always turn-4 Call to Arms and hitting face like a bot, never trading. I hope they get nerfed super hard.

Finally a paladin waifu & a great addition to paladin in general. Sure it is potentially a vanilla 7 mana 1/1, but there are many possibilities with this card in both wild & standard. Can be the clutch end-game taunt, or a big threat possibly in control match-ups. Had it been a 7 mana 3/3, it would have been much better, but still crafting this anyways. She's a hot elf. I can also imagine mmm Zola the Gorgon values.

Interesting, could be useful with like Nourish, Free from Amber, Mindcontrol, Call of the Wild and such.

Was able to beat this Priest with 3 eternal servitudes and got 5 Obsidian statues. Very stressful.

Let's all run N'Zoth decks with this dude.

Not really the best card, having no 2 drops don't really work out especially for Aggro. PW needs Fiery War Axe, Heroic Strike & Bloodsail Raider.Druid needs Mark of Y'Shaarjand Power of the Wild. Murloc Pally has a plethora of good 2 drops, including Hydrologistand Rockpool Hunter.
Control decks definitely don't need this card, control warrior using Execute, Slam and Fiery War Axe, Mage class using Frostbolt, Doomsayer, Arcanologist, Primordial Glyph and Medivh's Valet. The +1/+1 to minions don't really do anything compared with the value of the 2-drops.
You can't make a deck based around this card, as if you never draw him, your deck renders useless. You could make decks with him, but isn't worth running over the "essential" 2-drops each class has.

RIP, we can't get Yogg
