You want a really terrific example of broken RNG? Play Control Warrior style on this Brawl using cards that clear the board. I was lucky enough to get Revenge to clear the board all of the time and Bloodmage Thalnos for spell damage.
I then got two Ragnaros cards in both hands. Gg wp
All in all: TAKE A CONTROL STANCE.
I tried playing aggro, but the cards for Warrior make it easier to last until late game and get those legendaries goin'
If you go for aggro, make sure you get board clear cards to help your minions survive.
If there is one thing you should know, it is that whoever has board control is more often the victor than not, especially when Charge minions are so rare.

In this Brawl both players start with the same amount of cards and The Coin has to be used in the first turn to be of any value. If you can't use all your mana, there's no upside of starting second.
This is also a valid point. I started first on my winning Warrior game. I got very close to winning as Mage the game before, but the Control Warrior mindset help the guy last and eventually draw into Deathwing...aka automatic win in this mode.
I got a summoning stone with a druid and a raven idol. All spells, all the time. Free minions.
Sounds like an awesome strategy. I did well myself with a Jeweled scarab. I was able to discover an 3 cost card every turn. I was really able to flood the board.
You have to be careful. With cards like Deathwing, the discarded cards are not put back into the deck. If you want to load up with good cards, you want discover and bounce back abilities.

That's the idea. You play Deathwing and proceed to dump as much of the rest of your deck as possible, so that you just keep drawing Deathwing every turn, which is almost impossible to deal with.
I got on turn 5 Fel Reaver which "swiped away" the useless cards (Chickens, The Coins) from my deck and suicided it at turn 7 when I got Dr. Boom and then I could play Dr. 7 on every turn until I won! GG
Got Hobgoblin on turn 2 or 3. Then another in my hand on the next turn. Had 2 of them on the board for the rest of the game. Clearly, it's the mad skills that won me the game!
I don't mean to be rude, but "play a control game" when your cards are dangerously close to random isn't a very helpful tip. You might not get any control cards.

I figured I would shed some light on how effective taking a control stance is in this mode, but yes you are ultimately right. It was luck x)
Here are some images of the final moments (EDIT: Added these to the OP as well under the spoiler)

It's neat to hear all of the different ways people win in this mode. I might play it one more time for fun. (inb4 I lose and rage SMOrc in Play Mode)
