I've finally climbed back down to rank 5. I have six days to make a push for legend. I've been playing since June 2015 and am very active within the game. My collection allows just about any competitive deck. I currently have 500 wins with mage, so I'd like to use a different class during this push.
Last month I used Secret Pally Cancer to reach rank 2. Should I stick to one deck?
My meta has been pretty random. I can't say that I'm seeing any type of deck other than maybe zoo/combo druid.
What do you guys suggest that may help in my quest.
let's say you have a winrate of 60% (which is really high for someone who never reached legend) you need to play about 120 games. when your average game lasts 10 minutes, thats 20 hours of gameplay. are you sure you want a "2nd job" next week?
i'd say forget about it, you have not enough time this month (unless you want to play all day), just chill and begin your "quest" next month earlier

I'd say a bout 8 minutes per match average with combo druid. 20 hours divided by 6 days. About 3 hours a day, not that bad.
Last month i did it with a Zoo, though not the Brann zoo already commented in this thread.
This month i have been levelling up classes I still had at low level (i had shaman at 40, and i've been playing since closed beta :P), reached rank 4 and I still have to think if i'll push.
It is not as important to stick to one deck as it is to play a deck you know very well. Meaning you know the matchups very well, so you can optimize in every game your removal and key cards, saving them for the moment they can swing the game in your favour.
If you play now a deck you are not experienced with, you will spend the days learning it... instead of win-streaking your way to legend :)

sure it aint, but when you grind to legend, it's not like playing a game but more like work. you have to keep really cool when you play and not tilt, because then most likely your winrate will drop. and with that pressure in mind like "i have to win x games or i will not make it" it can be really frustrating.
6 days is still plenty of time. I typically play control warrior, but this meta is terrible for that so I switched to combo druid and I'm at about a 70% winrate since I hit rank 6 (which is when I started to keep track). With some luck and a lot of focus you can easily make it with less than 20 hours of play time. Whatever you do, don't consider it work. When you start looking at it like a job you start doing worse. Good luck with your climb.

I'm most comfortable playing mage since I grinded out the 500 wins. I still have classes to level which is why I'm trying not to spend the 20 hours with a maxed class.
Currently sitting at ~300 paladin wins, 300 Lock Wins, 300 Hunter wins. About to break 100 with Druid.

I can attest to that statement. Last month at rank 2 five stars I stumbled all the back to 5 and gave up.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm currently 8 - 7 with combo druid. Worst match up seems to be warrior. 0 - 1 vs control and 1 - 2 vs Patron.
I don't look at as work. I love playing the game. That card back is what I want lol.

Edit:I'm on US server.
Sea giant-brann token zoo is really strong deck and, probably, half of decks i see on high ladder these days. Other half is secret pally.
Grommash Hellscream
I can wait no longer
Hey I just got rolled by a warrior = /
6 - 6 today with Combo Druid.
Last night every deck I played was mage. Reno or Mech. Match after match.
Combo Reno Lock is really strong for me. I am constantly winning against bad matchups because of the decks resilience and burst damage.

Greatness, at any cost.

OK, but if you have already played the most reliable decks of pala or lock, maybe it is good idea to use them :)
The hardest part is to recognize when you are about to tilt and stop playing so you don't make silly errors and lose games you were about to win.
Good luck :)
