Not even sure how you did 6-6. Combo Druid gets destroyed by almost every deck that I saw from Rank 5+ except for rare Ctrl Priests and even more rare Control Warriros. Zoo (most common deck I've been seeing) destroys it, Patron destroys it, Secret doesn't exactly destroy it but still ~50 to negative wr, face decks so and so, but generally Aggro Shaman can win without much problems...
6 days is still plenty of time. I typically play control warrior, but this meta is terrible for that so I switched to combo druid and I'm at about a 70% winrate since I hit rank 6 (which is when I started to keep track). With some luck and a lot of focus you can easily make it with less than 20 hours of play time. Whatever you do, don't consider it work. When you start looking at it like a job you start doing worse. Good luck with your climb.
Thanks for the feedback. I'm currently 8 - 7 with combo druid. Worst match up seems to be warrior. 0 - 1 vs control and 1 - 2 vs Patron.
I don't look at as work. I love playing the game. That card back is what I want lol.
Out of the last 40 games I've only played 1 control warrior and 1 patron so results will vary. 95% of the meta I've faced is either secret paladin, tempo mage, zoo, or combo druid. One thing I've found about the typical combo druid lists is that shade doesn't do all that well in any of those matchups so i ditched them for mounted raptors and they have been pretty successful for me.
With the matchups you are seeing you may want to try control warrior. It's pretty strong against the majority of those matchups that you have played in the last 16 games.
I'd honestly advise against Druid, it just isn't good atm (I mean it's not bad at all, but if you want Legend it's wrong choice).
If you have nerves to play a bit slower you might wanna try Patron Warrior, it's not half as hard as everyone is saying, combos to multiply patrons, to generate card draw or armor are very straight forward and do not take a hardcore genius to be pulled off and the deck is very strong at the moment and thanks to people reading that tempo strom a lot of tryhard Druids around that you can farm with Patron (very easy win for Patron Warrior), and it also does pretty well against Zoo from my experience. Anything that kills Patron easily is played rarely on higher ranks anyways so it's cool
I am not even trying to hit legend or rank 5 anymore. Hit it for many months now but since the current meta is just full of cancer hunters, secret paladins, freeze mages and whatever else I just don't want to. This is why I am already happy with rank 10 since you can easily hit it in like 2-3 hours lol (from rank 17 where you start). Waiting for standard to come out to see which roleplayers just are playing always the same decks lol

What? :D I have seen maybe 2 Freeze Mages in about 200 games. Face Hunter is very bad deck and easy to destroy with almost anything
I have to agree. I rolled aggro shaman this season and hit legend for first time. On my way from rank 5 to Legend, came across 2 Freeze Mages and maybe 3 hunters at most. Majority of my matchups were druid and secret paladin. A few zoo locks popped up but that was mostly after hitting legend.

Mid range hunter may serve well if that's your Meta.

I don't see too many face or freeze above rank 5. I've faced a lot of "unique" or "strange" decks though.
With Zoo vs Prist it is very important to be able to break over their Deathlord. Power overwhelming, abusive sargeant, are of help. Specially if casted on a Nerubian Egg that leaves us a 4/4 to continue the pressure on next turn.
It is a very hard MU for zoo. Both Dragon Priest and Control Priest, but you also know they will not add pressure and they run no burst (except some Auchenai + Flash heal). You can be greedy and save your comboes to maximize value (ie. Juggler + Imp-losion on turn 6 if Juggler may be killed too easy when played in advance of imp-losion). Play around them: Try to have a deathrattle in case they run Auchenai+Circle or Lightbomb, dont play Imp Gang Boss on their turn 6, sometimes buffing Juggler to 4/3 with argus makes it for them really hard to clear even though he will have taunt, ...
Last month i run with a zoo and I was a bit lucky, cause i did it from rank 4 without stars to legend in like 3 hours. But i met a few priests in my way, having myself a golden priest, I think that knowing that classes and decks weaknesses is really an advantage for you :)

I wish I saved the gameplay. Double entomb on my sea giants. Pretty sure I conceded after he brought out the Justicar lol.
His first three turns were Chow/Cleric/DeathLord.
I did get the deathlord down, but Just didn't have any board presence.
Keep calm, you still have time, not a lot of time, as you sure know hehe, but you have the chance.
Even if you dont have enough time this season, that's experience for the next. Sure the first time i push for legend didnt get it. Neither the second ;) And i was up to rank 1 with 3 stars... but I was way too nervous. Just by being calmed when playing you get rid of a series of small errors we all do now and then (tapping last when the new card could have optimized your actions for the present turn, etc.).

Just remember the good times!
Yup, and SMOrc will be here until 4th-5th of the new season. So... prepare your anti-smorc tech cards ;)

3 - 3 on my lunch break today.
Still at rank 4 - 4 stars.
Got a reno lock down to 1 hp!!! then he hit me with the reno jackson = / LOSS
Face hunter - Ran me down good LOSS (i got a rematch with the same guy, ended up getting revenge)
Got destroyed by a Secret Pally, just couldn't get board control.
I was able to beat this control Warrior nicely with an 18 dam turn. Top decked which was nice.
Stuck at rank 3, 3 stars. Running zoolock and so many priests :(

So we have two days left on the season. I can squeeze two lunch breaks of 45 mins of play and about 2 - 3 hours after work.
Total time ~8 hours of game play. Rank 3, 3 stars. ISO LUCK.
