Liquid takes a bunch of pros rankings and average them, so perhaps they took the rankings before the last wing and before the deck was actually refined or played as much as it is.
As far as accurate rankings had to go I'd favour liquidhearth over TS. I have nothing against the deck but it's defiantly not 1. Glad shaman has something but like others have said it's just a pity that it's aggro and not more midrange where the class should excel with its existing class cards but alas overload.

The first mistake the op is making is asking Blizzard why they can't balance this game. Blizz can't balance ANY game, period.
After i still lost playing Healbot Farsir Reno in one game i think it should be nerfed guys
What? How? Unless Reno didn't proc, and you used Farseer to heal your opponent, I don't see how you can lose this game. There's only a finite amount of damage that a (lucky) Aggro Shaman can deal.
Reno proc but he had 1/3 trogg on board and then go Doomhammer + Rockbiter+Rockbiter+2 Lava Burst
Doom hammer, double rock bitter, double lava burst costs 13 mana. Your story smells an awful lot like bologna.

I returned to this game much like how a recovering alcoholic can relapse.

I played this deck and I played against... It is strong deck, but imho is quite unstable and easy to counter (hello ooze)
So I really don't understand this whining...
Basically, whenever a strong deck shows up, you'll get a forum that start whining about it because it's supposedly OP. Sure a couple decks in the past have been worth a slight nerf, but I agree with you that this isn't one of them.
Can I just throw out that Shaman hasn't been tier one in the longest time ,(probably since alpha when they had mana spring totem) and that now suddenly ,when there is a viable way to include the overload mechanic in the class without such a massive tempo swing from your next turn being dead, you guys are salty? Almost all other shaman decks are tier 4 because of their insane inconsistency. Lay off, just because you can't out pace with your face hunter deck doesn't mean that it's op, it means there's a meta shift happening. And in my opinion, it's about damn time.
If the game favors aggro so much, then why did ostkaka bring freeze mage(control), Patron warrior(control/midrange because after nerf),and oil rogue (control oriented until combo)? If the world champ is not bringing a single aggro deck to the world finals, then i think you guys don't understand something.

He had doomhamer and Trogg already obviously
If that's the case, then you're at least on turn 6, where the shaman is over-loaded by 2 due to doomhammer. And if you've let the trogg lives, then it's your mistake!
I've also played this deck and I am quite enjoying it, it is a fast and fun deck but very easily countered. Just as every other deck, it relies on good draw luck and it is very very weak against board clear as it is difficult to come back because there's not enough minions/mana to keep on filling the board.
If you've got a bad hand and the face shaman has a good one, don't whine saying the deck is OP... just realize that you had bad luck and they had good luck.
all these threads seem funny to me because people complain about their individual experiences and think that's how the entire game feels for everyone
news flash, millions of people play this game millions of different ways so if I was Blizzard would I trust the whiners who complain about their bad card draw or the data from the millions and millions of games they have? hmm
Blizzard specifically stated that they WILL NOT nerf anything until they can verify it as OP/unfun on a big enough sample. This means that there will be no nerfs in the coming ~2 month at least. Iirc Ben Brode said that they would like to give players time to figure out the counters to the top dogs of any given meta.
P.S. If you can't build a good anti-Shaman deck yourself, you can always use someone else's. *f.e. mine*

Well I can not order Implosion hou much damage do deal. How about you?
Aggro shaman actually requires a brain to play. Watch some of kolento's game-play. There's a lot of thought that goes into the process. I am against nerfing it.

My legendary count excluding adventure legendaries, dupes and old murk eye: 40
It is definitely a fair and balanced deck, extremely clear drawbacks and actually hard(er) to play (than hunter), I'd say tunnel trogg is the biggest thing in the deck for blizzard to keep an eye on, if you cant remove it in one turn then you've usually lost by turn 4 or 5. Shaman rush isnt too big a problem, but that card specifically may or may not be too much. But it's too early to really judge it, personally I've had a bit of a hard time playing around it consistantly, but that could just be down to rng (or me being bad)
I pray to god they never nerf this deck. I dont really play it much even though i built it, but its finally shaman's time to thrive. We need diversity. Even if its aggro, especially the type of aggro i hate so much, its worth it. Shaman wont get this much attention once this deck is gone. Let it live while it can.
wow can't wait for the thread about Anyfin doing 40 damage from clear board. Face shaman is a good deck but it has some problems. As others mentioned. Anti-weapon tech causes issues to face shaman, taunts as in plural causes problems. one taunt / one heal isn't enough. shaman will just brush it off, take out the one taunt or go around it. the second taunt or second heal is much more of a problem. Also the longer you can make the game the harder for the shaman to win because the shaman is on a clock. He isn't really trading with your minions but going face therefore if your minion isn't a taunt or big threat it will be ignored. By ignoring these little threats the shaman is hoping to kill you before the little threats build to a kill turn. This is where a board clear or feral spirits come into play for the shaman. It is to stop your little threats he is leaving behind.
Hotform did a face shaman using deathlords to fix that problem of the little threats building up. It worked well and extended the time the shaman has to kill you. IMO that will be face shaman 2.0 once people figure out the addition of a couple heals and a couple taunts improves the win rate against shaman very much. The shaman players will be teching in their own taunts to give them more time to kill you before you can kill them. I could see a midrange face shaman deck coming to life in the next month or so.
So to win against shaman for now play some heals , taunts and anti-weapon techs (notice the use of the plural) as well as protect your little threats to be able to out race shaman at the end.
