posted a message on Hearthstone is Getting More Expensive for Players in Canada, Japan, and New Zealand on November 16

I get it, I really do.

But maybe the best time to say an expansion is going to cost more isn't two weeks after you've announced it

posted a message on I'd rather have Druid not become another Aggro-Only class

I'm sure things would have been totally fine if they never nerfed the savage trees combo (that was in literally every druid deck)

I'm sure things will continue to be totally fine if they don't nerf jade druids specifically, considering it's only mostly a completely oppressive archtype that kills almost all other control decks in the game and forces everyone to try and go as fast as possible or just kill you in one turn.

They probably also don't need to look at the 3 cards that are in virtually every druid launch since launch either, because autoinclude cards are never unhealthy to a game in general (Wild Growth, Innervate, Swipe)

Everything is perfectly fine and there are actually zero issues with the game in any capacity right now, it's fun for everyone

posted a message on RIP in peace pirate warrior ?

There's a few actual viable answers to aggro/rush/tempo as opposed to literally none (depending on the class)

Pirate warrior isn't any weaker, the rest of the game just caught up a little bit

posted a message on Limitations on Discovery needed

The only discover card that I would say was a mistake has been Stonehill Defender, It doesnt matter what kind of paladin deck is being played, it's probably going to have two of them. Discover as a mechanic is great for the game, but that card is clearly a little too strong on paladin. The problem is within the fact that nine times out of ten you're gonna get a legendary because it's fishing from such a small pool.

That's not to say it's overpowered at all, but any card that you can fit into literally any deck for a class easily is inherently just bad for the game as a whole. Going forward I really hope they be a little more careful with discover, or at the very least try to create a new mechanic that isn't as easily ubiquitous.

posted a message on Why have rogues been so consistently terrible?

Rogue has a low play rate because most of its decks are a lot harder to win with, especially now that most things are nerfed/rotated. But they have some pretty objectively broken cards and combos. The only people you see playing rogue at high levels are either too pro to deal or they've discovered a weirdly strong deck that hasn't caught on yet. It happens in every expansion with rogue

posted a message on ROGUE MAINS UNITE ! DEFEND YOUR RIGHTS !

We haven't even seen all of the cards yet, not much that can be logically complained about, especially given the amount of cross class potential from this expansion (with rogue especially). The other major factor is that it's pretty dang hard to judge where rogue will stand once a meta settles in, so far though I see a lot of fun tools for new ideas. Personally I'm gonna reserve my judgement for how I think rogue will do until we see everything however

posted a message on Ripe number of spells before Yogg?

as long as the amount of spells is 5 or more it's generally always going to do something to swing the game for or against you if your opponent has flooded the board

personally I like to play at LEAST 10 spells before I ever consider playing him

posted a message on Discardlock is so overpowered if you draw/ discard correctly

discolock is the pinnacle of a heaven or hell deck

if you get lucky on your draws and discards you can win on turn 3-4, if not then you just sort of roll over and cry

posted a message on What is your excuse of not playing a face deck today?

Face decks are effective, fast, and boring.

Your actual skill as a player doesn't matter when your only objective is to do 30+ damage in as few turns as possible, there's a wide array of cards that let players do that easily on curve. Obviously being good at the game helps, but it's really not that big a factor

There's absolutely nothing wrong with playing face if you want to climb ranks, you'll eventually hit legend if you've got even a 51% win rate, buuuuut for me personally it's just not really fun

posted a message on Is the C'thun fad starting to wear off?

I sure hope not, It's been finally giving me a use for Bolf Ramshield and Mana Wraith, it usually puts a complete stop on everything for warriors/druids/priests, for mages/warlocks though it's mostly just a one turn gambit. Unless you're already dominating the board obv

I would love to keep fighting c'thun decks instead of turbo shaman

posted a message on Yogg deck users, how often does playing Yogg work to your favor?

of the times I've played it, so far it's beeeeeeeen 4/7 that have benefited me. The best one was one that made yogg shadowflame himself and then pump me full of secrets and basically autopilot the game from there. The problem is that unless you've played like 7-15 spells he's generally either gonna do basically nothing at best, or kill himself and cripple you at worst

posted a message on Shaman is too broken. What was Blizzard thinking?

The only real reason shaman is crazy strong right now is because they dont really have any opposition yet, everyone is testing decks or just doing pure c'thun decks. Granted it's a really strong deck to be sure, but just give it a few weeks for the dust to settle, if they end up dominating the ladder for a month or two then it'll be very safe to say it's too strong. Personally I'm really not too sure what blizzard was thinking making them THAT good, but lets just see where it goes
