IMO druid's hero power is so much worse than mage's.It can't get through taunts and you have to take face damage when attacking enemy minions. The only situation that i can think of when druid's hero power is better is when a minion can't be targeted by spells and hero powers, but other than that i think druid's hero power is just plain weak.
No, Druid is already the most consistent class in the game. Look at the last tournament - literally every single person brought 1 midrange Druid. Buffing his hero power would make him ridiculously imbalanced.
Druid hero power is much better than mage hero power if you play FON + savage roar and hit for 14, instead of 11. Or you HP go beyond 30. Or you heal up while hitting face.
So no. Not plain weaker. Different. do 1 damage, gain one life. Fits perfectly between the other hero powers.

Uhm... you are aware that a mage would hit for 14 as well? if they could actually play FoN/Roard combo that is.
Just because they don't have a hero power that allows them to do so doesn't mean the class can't attack at all it would be exactly the same as it is with druid.
The hero power doesn't need a direct buff. Its not a very good hero power imo but it is good enough to support the druid playstyle (which is in no bad shape).
However, I would like to see more cards like Claw, Bite and Savagery that interact with the hero power, especially if it encourages alternative playstyles for druid. This could be seen as an indirect buff to the druid hero power (like Tinker's Sharpsword Oil buffed rogue's hero power).
Nah. It's a pretty versatile hero power, and if it ever gets to a situation where you need to duke it out with hero powers, you'll probably pull ahead. It's better than mage or warrior because of it's versatility, and is much better in the overall game, rather than turn to turn.
Can a Mage check for Explosive Trap? Noble Sacrifice? Ice Barrier? [insert trap] ?
Great point!
There's plenty of subtle differences to what it does. The +1 armor per turn is often quite relevant also late-game.
I noticed the thread poster didn't have any suggestions of their own... How would you even buff it? 2 damage is better than hunter and mage, 2 armor is better than warrior, disregards taunt is unflavorful and ruins a lot of the strategy of playing against druid, costing 1 mana would be completely unfair. Any additional ability added would simply be too powerful.
I guess here's about the only one I think you could do: the attack boost carries on to future turns if you don't attack. It's quite powerful and mitigates a lot of the damage you would take when you attack the same minion multiple times. You could stack it up to threaten lethal while also controlling the board when necessary. Reading that, even this idea seems a bit too generous.
What if there was a minion that gave your hero windfury as long as it was in play. Something like that could be an indirect buff to the druid hero power and it would increase use of cards such as Claw, which really isn't a horrible card it just pales in comparison to other early game plays.

lol coming from a person whos fav class is hunter.. try playing paladin and then talk about hero powers.. rank 24 nub
The hero power is actually really good with the class.
Its just bland. Mage has little direct card synergy but the power is so ridiculously versatile (can hit anything, anywhere, anytime) that it makes the hero power interesting already.
The rogue hero gives you an actual weapon that lasts and can deal 2 damage + some great card synergy that makes it a lot more interesting.
Druid is just a straight hit for 1 damage that just isn't interesting or special and the synergy cards are crap.
Druid as a class doesn't need a hero power buff, but it is one of the most boring hero power, synergy wise.
IMO it is fine, not only druids class power, all others as well. Generally the classes in Hearthstone, although playing very different are very well balanced.
Anyone who plays arena knows the hero powers themselves are far from balanced. In constructed there's ample ability to compensate by varying the strengths of the best class cards though.

Druid class cards which synergize with the hero ability exist but you rarely see them used.

Druid is the best class ATM I think it will never be buffed nor does it need one in any form
It's late and all... yeah. You are correct.
Does the best class in the game need a huge buff? Mjeeah, maybe not tho?

Changing any hero power breaks the game.

Druid is fine, he can attack for more than 1 and the 1 armor he gets is relevant either.
