I demand two or three free packs for the next tavern brawl!!!
I have almost a full collection (missing only terrible legendaries like Millhouse Manastorm) and I'm not a F2P player... but you know what? I want my goddamn free packs on Christmas!!!
I don't want to spend more money for a long time on this game (since I have spent a lot), and each free pack is very important for
how much is a lot? im not quite sold on everyone crying about "omg i dont want to spend $ on this game"
to be honest.. its a free game.. it didnt cost you a penny to download it and play it for however long you've been playing the game for. The way i see it, most games cost $70 brand new, and im finished with them in a month, never to be booted up again.
This game didnt cost me a dime to enjoy it for way longer than that, before i actually decided to drop and pay money for things. The way i see it, if i spent $150 on this game over the course of 3-4 years, ive gotten more than enough value out of it. Ill have no problem dropping $50 a year or so on hearthstone if it keeps me entertained. Everyone else should have the same mindset.
cant afford to buy packs? get a job.
not old enough to work? save your allowance.
dont earn an allowance? - xmas/bday/holiday present.
be thankful blizzard didnt charge you $49.99 for the game and then another $20-40 for every expansion/new card set thereafter.
Half the fun of playing the game is so that you actually have a purpose of playing - to obtain new cards, so you can craft a new deck with an idea youve been brewing over.
The problem is... people want everything NOW. -- "I dont want to play the game to unlock cards and enjoy myself doing it - i just want them for free so that i can copy someone else's deck off the internet and complain when i lose with it"
Im not trying to come off as rude or anything, its just a general observation about this game and all F2P games.. too much bitching, no one is ever satisfied with what they have or whats given to them.
Recently started playing a lot of warlock, and decided to try climb with it before the reset.
So what should I choose to better fit the meta at around ranks 5-10: standard demon handlock or 1-of renolock? Don't want to play zoo, since I don't think it's that strong enough right now, and 'm really sick from all the zoo-ish Paladin shenanigans that have been happening lately.
how bout you try making a homebrew concept instead of netdecking other people's ideas.
ive been playing since beta and every new expansion that comes out just causes me to lose even more interest in the game.
"oh new expansion comes out on X-date , lets see which cards can break the game and make it even less fun that it already has been".
" LETS SEE HOW MUCH MORE RNG WE CAN ADD TO THE GAME TO MAKE PEOPLE LESS RELIANT ON SKILL"
"LETS SEE HOW MANY OF THE SAME DECKLISTS PEOPLE ACTUALLY POST AND REPOST AND REPOST AND REPOST, claiming that they're 'new concepts' "
as long as more RNG cards are being added to this game, it becomes less and less about skill and more about luck.
the "meta-breaking" cards just become the new meta. or theyll see some "pro" (i refuse to believe you can go professional in a game based on luck. ) running some decklist on stream, and then 3 days later fifty thousand players are running the same exact deck.
with each new expansion that comes out, it just makes the game more stale. And in order to combat that they keep adding expansions and cards at an ever increasing rate.
Had to wait almost a year before naxxramas came out or atleast it felt that way, and then all of a sudden 3 weeks after TGT launches, here comes LoE.
people havent even had a chance to enjoy or to theorycraft with the TGT cards before rolling out another set. Its getting little rediculous. And this is coming from someone that played this game religiously for a couple hours a day every day since its release. Lately im surprised if i find myself logging on once a week, and thats just while im taking a shit to pass the time.
well its "bad" by meta standards.. this deck is a fun innovative homebrew that can definitely shake up some opponents. i like the creativity and the concept. if it wasnt a reno themed deck, and just relied on healbots and perhaps farseers along with brewmasters, not only can he acheive a little more early/mid game stability, but can also keep up healing .
its about time that pali sees its day. i havent played all month long because ive been playing Heroes of the Storm (everyone should its fantastic) until TGT got released. I played last night for the first time, starting @ rank 21 got to 14 without any losses. Going to try to continue streaking today. Had my own homebrew token pali running strong.
Personally i dont want that many people to start running paladin as a main because it takes away from the true pali players from day one.
Liking and playing as paladin on ladder prior to TGT was cool and hipster.
I've still played against everything about equally.. against pali more than others and have rekt them all ..
ive been playing paladin since beta as well and yes they have not been on top in w long long long time or ever. Murloc knight is alot of fun but for those having complaints of "cancer", you need to relax. This is 2 days ito a new expansion and already ppl call it cancer. Stop. Undertaker hunter you remember? Miracle rogue rememer? Combo druid.. Zoo.. UTH hunter... Remember those decks before calling out cancer.
Also for those complaining and looking for tech cards.. MCT is gonna be huge. Wild pyro and a completely off the wall tech -
HUNGRY CRAB
Oh u dont want to tech in hungry crab ? Tell tha t to all the pali players who were practically forced into teching MCT/Kezan bc of mage/hunter cancerr bullshit
I feel alot of the new tournament cards are synergistic with pali which I love. Bc pali usually has that awkeard turn 3/4 play if not running muster so a hero power + secret or 1 drop or 1 mana spell can be very interesying with the card
Lol with regards to the post i said it can hit legend in the right hands. Meaning for someone with more time than I do. being 27 and working 6 days a week in the banking/finance industry makes it difficult to find all of that grind time. Ive gotten to rank 5 with it during GvG however it isnt as relevant
Why is emperor thaurrisan and dragon consort listed as a combo?
It isnt essentially a 'combo' however with ET on board + consort in hand it allows you to drop a discounted consort that gives you another discount on top of that ; ive had games where ive been able to drop 2 consorts and crusher in one turn
Unfortunately nothing in its current phase. I'm not online now but later this week we'll be streaming some gameplay so you can check it out then. The deck does have a low crafting cost of around 2500k dust though if you dont have the cards you can build it relatively easily. If you try it a few times we'd love to hear some feedback. We'll be posting here when its time to stream, stay tuned.

Ive personally hit rank 11 with it with casual play and no real attempt at legend.
CT has hit 8 and then work kicked in mid-month and had to slow down.
I think it has the potential to go much higher, but I'm still working on finding time to do it.
