Launching bugged C'Thun through Maxima. Do you guys have any info about fix/punishment for using this bug?
Today I made 9 screenshots from games I lost to hunters abusing this bug, but I ak afraid that this will solve nothing. It is more than clear that people are abusing it and playing cards in this order on purpose.
If you have any info or link for report let us know.
Blizzard games don't have bugs, they are called "features". This bug literally existed since forever when pulling minion from deck into the game board became possible. Currently it's the only thing more consistent than warlock questline and I'm happy for it. Every time I played vs Warlock they would finish their questline by on turn 4 or 5 (which is bs), but since they dead on turn 5 or 6, they can't play their burn. If I see that the opponent is playing literally anything other than The Demon Seed, I just concede, they deserve as much.
First of all, there is no precedent of glitch abusers being banned for abusing a glitch. When Toast got banned for the glitch that crashed the game, it was for 'popularizing' it. When people got banned for SnipSnapLock, it was for tuning the game to skip animations. All the other Hearthstone bans have been related to botting, griefing or politics. No bans for exploiting a bug, even bugs that made some people get hundreds of packs, like the one in the Rise of Shadows launch.
If people can get banned for that, then I'd say anyone who spams emotes is intentionally trying to disrupt my gameplay and therefore should be banned. Anyone who is intentionally using a bug to win games is definitely annoying other players.
Heck, anyone even caught playing a well know and widely disliked deck should get banned. The community hates it! You're doing a bad!
It's actually funny that Iksar himself was using this, if that really was the real person and not a fake. I'm not convinced simply by the comments saying "yeah, it's true!" He could have been testing it out to see if it really happens. Or maybe he does just like it. Then it'll stay in the game forever. RIP.
When I wrote the post, I was thinking of people that add their opponents in order to wish unpleasantries upon them. Due to how easy it is to have the proof, I imagine a few people were irked enough to report those accounts. Not that I recall ever reading about people actually being banned for this kind of hate speech, but I consider it more than possible, so I added it in there to cover all the bases. As for the regular kind of griefing, if you are a popular enough streamer and you queue into a regular roper on ladder it is grounds for ban as well, I specifically remember Kripp mentioning it around 4 years ago. No dice for the regular folk though.
As for the proof, it has been added multiple times in the comments of that Reddit thread, including a HSreplay link. There's no doubt about it that it was the real Iksar.
Not that it matters much anyway since the bug is now officially fixed.
I was playing against a C'thun hunter and conceded literally right as he played Flare+Maxima. I was surprised that C'thun's stats didn't change, but I thought it was just because I conceded too early. But maybe it's actually fixed? You would think there would be some kind of announcement
Until an official announcement I think it's likely that people will still win games just by concede
Everyone know what is the problem.

Sorry for english, I am not native speaker.
i dont think they punish people for bugs like that
and this works with other classes too
its not just hunters that are abusing it now
highly doubt that blizzard cares about this
It'll get fixed sometime in the next two- to three weeks.
what's the bug?i played to legend and never saw anything cthun related
C'thun with any buffs becomes huge if pulled from deck with an effect, basically.
its funny .. leave it for a while
still less OP than the questlines
That's a bug...a big one...

There is nothing to be done against the abusers.

Second of all, one of the top posts on the Hearthstone subreddit for a few days has been a dev laddering with Maxima C'Thun.
All you can do is wait for it to be patched.
Looking at the state the game is in, i think they just fucked it up so hard, their strategy to save the game atm is to pretend they are afk.
What is your definition of griefing?

Turns out, Maxima Blastenheimer is his new favourite card, oops!

I tried the deck I think its actually fixed
Wait? It is fixed? Where is the anouncement?

I'm not sure if I can post the link (because it's on a "competitor's" website), but...
Blizzard Has Fixed the C'Thun and Maxima Blastenheimer Bug - No More Turn 5 Coin OTK!
"There is no spoon"
