If someone saves Madness at the Darkmoon Fair card packs and then opens them after the mini expansion releases how do you know that there will not be any cards from the non-mini-expansion?
There will be a mix of original Darkmoon and mini-Darkmoon cards in the card packs. The ratio of the mix will depend on how far into the original Darkmoon collection you are. Duplicate protection will mean that you probably won't get any original commons or rares at first. For a whale that has collected the entire original Darkmoon set, the packs would be 100% mini-Darkmoon, until you've got all the mini-DMF commons etc.
if there are 4 legendaries in the miniset then buying it for 2000 gold is much better then buying packs... packs will give you only 20 packs, and 1 legendary is a chance of 1 in 40 packs... so 4 legendaries in 20 packs is 1 in 5 packs... thats huge...
I still doubt blizzard will be that... euh... (whats the opposite of greedy?)
no, get your facts straight before posting please
the chance of getting a legendary is 5%, so 1 in 20 packs
it's the pity timer that is raising the chance of getting a legendary by some amount with each pack you open and getting to around 99% by 40th pack(i'm saying 99% as there have been very rare cases of people getting their guaranteed legendary in as far as 43rd pack)
"get your facts straight" says the guy spouting off inaccurate numbers.
--It's not 5% after a pity timer reset; the incremental chances are unknown, but becomes 100% chance after 39 packs.
--Nobody has ever gone 43 packs unless they were mistaken or they were dealing with a patch released with a glitch with new expansion (but mostly people were getting exceeding amounts of duplicates the one time something happened)
--I have dedicatedly tracked two accounts for every expansion beginning with Witchwood and have never gone over 40. I have a slightly better legendary percentage than 1 in 20 (though this could be because I included the guaranteed legendary within the first 10 packs of a new set).

it has never and nowhere been said that the probability raises to 100% after 39 packs, all we know that it raises with each pack and it probably is very close to 100% at 40th pack, but a lot of people have reported that thy got their guaranteed legendary in later packs, and as we have no way of disproving their claims, we have to leave a chance this might be true, but yes , I do agree that for majority of people 40th will be the pack they will hit the pity timer if they are unlucky(I've opened thousands of packs and very rarely actually hit the pity timer btw)
as for my initial reaction I was mainly referring to the other guys claim that the chance of getting a legendary is 1 in 40 which is completely wrong and has been long determined(and confirmed by blizzard because of china laws) that the average chance of getting legendary is 1 in 20
your own sample is still going to be quit small, but https://pitytracker.com/insights confirms these numbers, shame they don't show any info on in which pack people opened their legendary at the latest

Because of the no-duplicates rule. You joined in 2014..?
I don’t think there will be any bg perks as it is always included in expansion pre-releases, not mid season sets.
I also think that the purchase will be identical and independent of payment method assuming the leak is accurate and you can buy it with money or with gold.
U can just buy the cards for 15$ or 2k gold. This has been leaked for more than 24 hours now. Other cards sites have talked about this. Don't know how are u all so disjointed from the current affairs on HS
Didn’t know that there are people out there who have no lives apart from hearthstone and they think everyone else does the same
There arent. But these news has been released in other websites prior to this one which btw hasnt officially release any news regardig the leak.
Alas u guys still stuck in the past with this website that has clearly seen better days.

This might just be me, but I prefer a site that only gives me the official - and relevant - announcements from the Hearthstone team. I don't need news about leaks or potential nerfs or data mining or whatever off-hand comment some dev made in a reddit thread. Speculation belongs in the forum, not the news section IMO:
The "returning mechanics" is something this game badly needs since years. I never liked to see new mechanics to be added then forgotten in the arc of a single expansion, while others (like Deathrattle or Mech Tribes) to be used in every expansion since their introduction. Instead of adding new mechanics every expansion (and many poorly designed ones, like "Corrupt") they should just reuse them.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
NINE Packs opened with 2 legendaries inside insofar
If they announced the set and release the same week is such a PR catastrophe! it will be losing all the hype of reveals season etc... If today they do not announce anything I think the chances of a 21th release are slim...
It is a mini expansion they can not just releases like a nerfs patch

For the first point, the incremental percentage is actually known. Pitytracker.com has 5.3 mil packs tracked so their numbers are basically true to actual percentages. You start at 2.6% legendary chance and 6.2% epic chance.

Yeah, but I have a job and don't troll these web sites from my Mommies basement all day long.

Loved the deul class mechanic, three of my favorite cards are duel class.
Yeah, but I have a job and don't troll these web sites from my Mommies basement all day long.
I'm hyped as balls right now, glad it's coming in only a couple days.
Does exp gonna be online today at midnight?
Looks like it didn't. Not in the time zone I live in, at least.
So... do we have any info about the actual hour? Lacking specific announcements, maybe leaks, rumors, educated guesses? :P
someone told me that 10 am pst
