Number 1 with miles away from the rest is a hunter. Raza plus Anduin was 2 cards 13 mana combo and is still one of the best wild decks. This quest is easy to achieve with 2 rapid fires and 2 other spells, but I am not sure if the hunter has the tools to survive the early game, if it goes for spell hunter, but probably it will bring hunter from the worst class to a decent one.
Number 2 is shaman.... that can get INSANE and in wild there is a ncie amount of cheap overload spells to make it easy to accomplish and have crazy burn after.
number 3 is warrior. Still not sure if it fits the traditional pirate warior, missing a turn 1 play vs agro match up is a death sentence, but is a good tech card on a slower meta.
the rest looks like hot garbadge in wild, too slow or require too many steps to accomplish, like mage really?

first in naxxramas meta i build a taunt druid that had a 60% winrate vs undertaker hunter but a 40% against everything else. I made it to legend in 15 days ( and that is back when you needed to grind from 0 with no star bonus or floors).
Now i can get to day 1 legend with any deck. this month it was anyfing paladin, last month agro murloc, the month before DMH (could not play day 1-2 so it was day 3)

I arrived to finish in the leaderboard in May. In june with 11 stars bonus i play an ultra emme deck. All legendarys with cho, millhouse etc. Surprisingly it had a 38% winrate at the 11 stars bonus and all the way it was decent meta decks. At the end from rank 3 3 stars I played a few meta decks and got to legend. Once in legend I was loooow and mostly fought meme decks and was conceding against any rank 1 diamond i faced. Tanked up to 6k in Eu at the end of the season. It took me a few months to recover my old mmr. A surprising thing is that at high legend you see a LOT of deck variety as a lot of people are exploring ways of how to beat the meta, having more fun at high legend than low one were is only net decks.
End of the story, play meta decks to get into legend and then tank your MMR/ push for high legend and then have fun.

93 000 dust saved. I had 100k at the start of the Year of the Phoenix.
But going to spend 25k on the first days of classic, still more than enough to craft what i want.

I tryed to make the deck work but it does not, the secrets are not good tempo enough . The only good part is the shuffle package.
Lost like 600 ranks playing the deck. Not recomended. Sorry I forgot I left the deck here.

Fun and viable rogue deck: Shuffle rogue, there is many version but it works won with it at mid legend (600-400) and even some games at high legend (100-200). It has several people that have good results with it. Surprisingly good and flexible list, might get better with mankrik. (tier 3-4 power level)
Also soon cavern below is coming back so that might be a good fresh deck (expect tier 3)
I think the best and funnier deck in warrior is DMH, it is hard to use and you will lose a lot until you understand the matchups, but once you do it is great. Played with it last season mostly at 30-50 legend with a peak at legend 15. (tier 1 in good hands, tier 5 in bad ones). but games are LOOONG so not going to farm quick wins with it. For quick wins and fun, I will try menagerie warrior saw some deck pop out that got to legend in twitter (tier 5)
Paladin, I am LOVING using my old anyfin paladin, peaker at legend 10 and hovering at 100-200 the past 2 weeks. but the deck is dying in 12 days so DO NOT CRAFT IT but if you have the cards try it. Another fun deck that is getting some support is handbuff paladin. Search for INMAN and BODYBUILDER lists, they got top 10 legends with them, viable and fun. (tier 2-3 deck)
DH, personally go-to standard, in the wild only viable deck, is odd DH and is one, if not the most boring decks in wild.
There is some guy that was running a highlander DH with a lot of disruption but it is a VERY costly deck and runs a lot of niche card that does not see much play. Only saw 1 at legend 200 (tier 5-6)
Mar 4, 2021sadonj posted a message on What is your biggest regret in Hearthstone to date?Posted in: General Discussion
Biggest regret was crafting some GVG cards in golden that never saw play like Anubrak (loved the infinite value) and prince gallawix (understated the value of coins back then).
Recently I regret a lot crafting Zuljin and Sadge in golden. The decks i tryed for zuljin did not work well at all, so a bit sad (maxima tonk hunter) and Reno secret mage was too boring . so 6400 dust wasted. Zuljin might be used one day, Sadge maybe too.

The game is affordable even without spending money.
With the 90-100 packs you get from the rewards track is more than enough to get ALL the COMMONS and ALL the rares. You will need to craft the epics u need and a few legendaries. You could play cheap meta decks. If you just go for the op deck of the month, you will get punish in standard.
If you invest in both bundles (140) and one monthly bundle (25$) you will be spending 40$ a month for each expansion, and this will give you all the cards of the expansion easily. This allows you to play any deck you want and is why people PAY for a game, and why the game makes money and continues to exist. They are NOT changing that.
If you do not want to invest in the flavor of the month deck, you can build slowly golden decks in wild. I am at 11 golden decks and growing in wild, using nerfed dust and dust accumulated from before. And once classic goes in I will have in total 27 golden decks that will be playable forever ( even if the wild ones will need some upgrades over time) and I ONLY buy bundles and not even all of them.4
Just be smart with your dust and you can enjoy the game. If they changed the dust system for regulars it will be a slap in the face to all the veterans and loyals customers, while hurting their sales a LOT because there will be 0 reason to spend in the game. It is not hapening. Only think i see hapening is that if you have a regular card and want to make it on golden you can use the dust value of the original card. For example i have an epic and want a golden one. instead of disenchanting 100 and crafting for 1600, i will just being crafting for another 1200 dust, i will love to this to happen even if I used A LOT of dust on golden
