OTK style decks were always a plague for Hearthstone and it feels optimistic that they wish to address that.
As for board clears? I am not entirely convinced. Sure there may be a couple over-efficient board clears, but they are restricted in certain classes and they serve as gatekeepers. For they keep a terrible and ancient evil at bay, which will rise again in a whim, should we leave it unchecked.
I mean you get games like MTG Arena where you can virtually create more decks. And I don't think that this has to do with data storage. It's just that they don't believe it's worth it. That said I feel sad, since I am limited to have 27 decks. And if I want to try something new I have to delete something else.
Even though I won't play with all of those decks at all times, it feels good to have them available.
I'll just say this. I suffered in Hearthstone from BETA until finally Ben Brode left the game. From that point that game has been improved in many ways and the design philosophy has changed.
But the real enjoyment of Hearthstone is not playing competitively. If you play competitively (as in any game I guess) prepare for a lot of frustration.
You young whippersnappers complain about everything. Back in my day, we only had nine deck slots. NINE!
playing from BETA, but I don't miss those days at all xD
the game back then was unbearable.
Anyway I just thought that since they added extra 9 deckslots with DH, they would do the same with DK. I guess they're going to do it throughg a paywall.
Let me introduce you to the format called Wild. Listen to me first before you roll your eyes.
If Druid has broken combo cards on Standard, imagine what he can do on Wild. The things that I have seen just mind-blowing. However, in Wild Druid as a Ramp 20 mana deck will never be a competetive deck. Because of either the disruption or the aggro decks, or even Big Priest.
Analyzing these:
1) Big Priest: is a cancer. Neptulon the Tidehunter is a broken card, more broken than all the Druid combos. So you're fighting fire with fire. Not a good solution, but will do.
2) aggro decks: Many will say that aggro decks are toxic and brainless but let me tell you something. They always kept such decks in check. Because you had to spend many deckslots on survival instead of bullsh*t combos and many high end cards. Actually this needs a post of its own.
3) Disruption: On wild there's ton of disruption. Utilizing this disruption can break Druid decks. Sure they'll have another weird combo at hand but they won't bullsh*t you as they do in Standard.
2 & 3 are the solution to Druid, without reworking the class.

I speak of the plague of the Aggro decks.

Trolden will be revived after this.

Solid.

Holy cow, that's going to be bonkers in wild.

They have no idea what will happen in wild with this.

Happened to me as well a long time ago. Just unfavorite every portrait and delete the decks. Then create them anew. It worked out for me.

easy staple for every format

People are crying but this card isn't going to be so good.
Plus it's a 3/10. Midrange decks can trade it, aggro decks can ignore it.

So all you need to do is simply kill your Mukla. and you win.

The degeneracy levels in Wild wil peak with such a card. I'm already in love with this.

Standard fans downvoting you mate.
Meanwhile, Wild enjoyers feel you :(
