Secret and stealth are both half decks, you can't complete a full 30 cards deck without fillers.
Highlander is trash after Alex nerf.
Many classes are nerfed to the oblivion but for some reason hunter with an insane ammount of extremely powerful and underscosted cards remain untouched, why? I don't have a clue.
I wouldn't say galakrond is totally garbage... It makes king togwaggle a lot better at least with the invokes. It's definitely a lot worse though. Secret galakrond rogue is still performing okay though. At least after the expansion, rogue will have more support for other archetypes.
Your statement isn’t even an exaggeration. 20 nerfs and 4 buffs since release, and 2 of the buffs were useless (pogo and violet haze), and the other 2 were just reverting the nerf to raiding party and changing preparation to 3 cost reduction (but now it’s nerfed back to 2). So rogue has been nerfed way more than any other class and not been buffed in any meaningful way whatsoever.
That DH number though... Kinda crazy that we're not even a full expansion cycle into the class and it already has more all time nerfs than any class but Rogue and Warrior.

Yeah... It's mainly just a lot of poor design choices and not enough testing done before releasing it, and several of the nerfs weren't even very meaningful and didn't change the cards enough to make a difference, like subtracting 1 attack or 1 health here and there.
Dark Iron Skulker often determined the outcome of a game simply because you drew one and it was the main way Rogue had to deal with an early wide board.
Once you survive until turn 6 or 7, you play your whole deck and summon two 8/8's and a giant Edwin or something crazy and hope you opponent can't kill all of it or you. Thus the name 'Miracle'.
Tempo Rogue was most prevalent IMO when Prince Keleseth was at his prime along with pre-nerf Bonemare at 7 mana.
I think it's partly due to the default Hero Power requiring the Rogue to take some sort of control early on since taking face damage throughout the game is not the best option. Same with Hunters relying on their Hero Power to deal direct damage after early minion pressure and the class identity of both never producing a decent control-oriented deck.
Another possible change that would be nice for some more early game and get rid of the need for some cards like backstab would be if they reinstated the option for rogue hero power to "add +1 attack to weapon" instead of getting another weapon. sometimes id rather have a 2/1 than another 1/2 and it would help deal with some one drops that rogue generally has a hard time dealing with without backstab. As for Eviscerate and Edwin, they are starting to make some better early removal cards like brain freeze, coerce, and the new Vulpera toxinblade to an extent, but rogue has never gotten any efficient removal spells since the basic and classic set, so it's kind of a first. There has always been drawbacks to removal spells in rogue or they just were overpriced, so rogue needed both of those cards to win the early game. If there were a few more solid early game cards which didn't require combo, I think Rogue wouldn't need them. It's close, but I don't think it's quite there yet. if Pharaoh cat was "gives a reborn minion that costs 4 or less," rogue would have enough early game, but when cat low rolls, it's just bad.
Blizzard decided to destroy Miracle Rogue for any cost and then released DH and gave it absurd tempo, probably better then Miracle Rogue ever had. Just look on screen, turn 7 and he have 11 cards left in deck... wtf Blizzard. And they are still releasing another draw power. I really want to hear explain of this from Blizzard, because it makes no sense to me.
And is still doing just fine? Thus these nerfs seemed justifyed?
It is not, is a little favored vs priests, even vs mages (because was heavily nerfed too) and is obliterated by anything else, the class was completely destroyed and overnerfed beyond compreension.
Meanwhile hunter can have insanely broken and underscosted cards from turn 1 to 10 and not a single nerf since forever.
They pull cards out of their butt like nothing. They create boards out of nothing. It looks like they run out of cards and they still play stuff that miraculously appears in their hands, a lackey here, a removal there, another minion here, a couple of secrets there, a rebounce here, a card draw there and rigorously all in one turn of course.
Can we have one expansion in which finally rogue is fair??? No matter what happens this class always makes the cut? WTF?
Now they get INSANE dual-class cards (yes more card generators please) and a secret that adds copies of the CARDS, not one but ALL OF THEM, to their hand. Really? Did the y need this?
Rogue 1 archetype we’re both nerfed you also nerfed prep stop your bitching.
There is no skill to playing rogue. You either face roll and discover 5/6 cards that cheat you the game or you get annilhated.
Lol. What a load of crap. And what class do you play, oh so skilled one? Hunter? Demon hunter? If you actually bother to play rogue, you know that there are many decisions that have to be made, especially if you play rogue in wild

Just went through hearthstone card change history and look what I counted:
Demon Hunter: 13 nerfs; Druid: 12 nerfs, 3 buffs; Hunter: 12 nerfs, 5 buffs; Mage: 9 nerfs, 5 buffs; Paladin: 4 nerfs, 3 buffs; Priest: 11 nerfs, 14 buffs; Rogue: 20 nerfs, 4 buffs; Shaman: 12 nerfs, 6 buffs; Warlock: 8 nerfs, 3 buffs; Warrior: 14 nerfs, 8 buffs

Can the two people making mega quotes of each other get a DM please? lol
Anyways, since I've been playing back in Mean Streets of Gadgetzan, Rogue has always played a tempo or Miracle style deck in the top tiers of play. I'm thinking back to Double Questing Adventurer, Double Tomb Pillager, Double Gadgetzan Auctioneer, double Arcane Giant, Edwin VanCleef, and a lot of cheap spells like Sap and Eviscerate.

This space is intentionally blank.

Team 5 is like; lets nerf some op cards and rogue.
