I'm not exactly sure how this is possible but almost every other game I spectate with my friend he is facing demon hunter and hes only at beginner rank 35. He got the welcome bundle and I gave him the year of the dragon bundle, but he still does not stand much a chance. He is already considering moving on from the game
We've all been there... just craft the most cheap and OP deck of the moment and tell him to hang on. Patience is the key, play friendly matches, and it'll come around eventually
Awh man that's really shitty.. hoping for resilience for your friend while we wait for the DH wave to quell a bit so he can enjoy the game like the rest of us have for so long
make him play demon hunter till hes out of apprentice ranks, once he's out of those ranks he'll be able to get his free class deck, i suggest getting either the priest deck or the rogue deck, since galakrond rogue is good, but res priest is just better

How can someone play DH then? Tell him to do the required specifications to have DH then he plays it cause that's the most op budget decks cause most of the cards are for free
Not very surprising considering everyone got tons of DH cards for free. F2P players usually reside at lower ranks and thus DH might be the only reasonable deck they can run.

Standard, Wild, and Classic player.
Losing to Sire Denathrius makes me not want to play this game anymore. The Sire Denathrius nerf makes me want to play this game again. Losing to Deathrattle Rogue makes me not want to play this game anymore. The Prince Renathal nerf makes me not want to play this game anymore.

If I remember correctly he said the game wasnt allowing him to make a deck for the class because of his rank. Idk how hes facing them
Is this really the expereince for new players right now? Advertise DemonHunter as a way to bring back old players and bring in new ones, but don't let them play it, and force them grind through people who are doing, as a complete noob to all the stuff you have to learn in the game to be competent?....Wow. Someone needs to be fired.

do the solo adventure, my brother did it first thing when he started playing again
Just to confirm, I agree this is a problem. I play on EU but decided for various reasons to start on another server. One of the reasons was to re-learn some of the basics of the game using basic only decks.
The problem is new players can get the DH initiate set straight away, and that will always be better than any other class in the apprentice ranks (which is primarily made up of basic cards with a few classics from packs that you get for progression through the ranks).
At rank 40, I probably hit a DH deck every 5 games. I'm now at rank 22, and at least 60% of games are now against DH. Whilst this doesn't matter to me, it does mean that all new players must play DH to get through the apprentice ranks, so are unlikely to be getting any experience of the other classes. And this is always going to be the case regardless of nerfing DH, as in apprentice, it will always be better than all the other classes basic sets.
I suggest Blizzard need to block access to DH initiate in apprentice - not ideal but I fear the consequence of forcing all new players to focus only on DH to progress into the main game.

What are these "other classes" you speak of? jk
Yes, I agree with you. I've played enough games to know different characteristics of each class, but it must be a little tricky for a new player seeing DH after DH.

What a waste of a Dragon bundle. Sad to hear.
The game does not allow him to play it yet.

Tell him to play sacpac warlock... Oh nevermind

If I understand correctly you can't lose stars at those ranks.
So just concede every DH match.

New player rank is rigged af
That sucks man. What about a face hunter deck?
If other people in beginner ranks have access to DH, so does he.
But I agree; giving people in those ranks access to that deck but not any of the other free decks was a terrible idea.

"There is no spoon"
make this deck, just piloted it to legend by feeding on DH, it is nice and cheap too. You dont have to run taren or maiev to get this to plat 5.
