As DH there are plenty of time I either have to waste him early or wait till turn 7 or 8 to get good value out of him. Would say it's the same as mage with the 2/4 needs about the same amount of setup and they normally get there's off first or hide behind an ice block and go off. For a legendary creature that is expected to only live a turn he feels pretty balanced.
the card is balanced, if you have problems dealing with a 3/2 past turn 3 I think the problem is your deck non that card. If you were saying that he dealt the damage in one turn to you maaaybe I could agree but if you let him live its your fault or bad luck or whatever. Its like leaving up Malygos for 2 turns, then i could say omg that card is broken he dealt so much damage to me Lol
If Altruis had any reasonable chance of sticking on the board for more than one turn? I would agree, honestly.
The way things stand in the real world? He's going to die after you get your big boardclearing turn with him, and you had to use other cards and resources to pull this off.
Altruis is a perfectly balanced card. The ONLY thing that's even up for debate here is if he needs to hit the face too, and I think it's fine that he does.
Also: You're not considering that for all the low cost cards DH has, they also have HIGH cost cards as well, which can be extremely difficult to play as outcast, especially when you have to play a 3 mana card first.
The priestess is a bigger problem. Also I feel like Glaivebound Adept is unbalanced—he has two more stats than Fire Elemental, costs the same if you want the battle cry, and deals more damage.
i get DH having an “identity” where he just deals lots of damage, but this is the only battlecry damage source, his other ones happen in dormant, at the end of turn, or through card use. Does DH just get everything?
glaivebound adept is a basic card, and it’s about as strong as fireball and Fire Elemental combined. At the very least it should cost as much as Fire Elemental.
I am pretty sure Dean Ayala said more balance changes are coming either late next week or shortly thereafter. I have more faith recently that Blizzard will keep an eye on the need for changes.
What gets me about this card isn't that it's too OP per se... it's just that it's so much better than the "legendaries" some other classes have. If only Paladin, Priest, etc got cards that were half as good.
More often than not this cards does like 3 damage than dies. If you leave it up that’s kinda your problem. Very rarely does this card quite literally go off. It requires a lot of setup. The effect is powerful but it’s not OP in the slightest.
I love it how all the people here jump on the bandwagon "if you can't clear it it's your problem", while nobody said that that's the problem lol. The problem is once it's dropped, combined with the insane card draw DHs have it can destroy any board, while also giving you tempo. That's the problem. I believe if it dealt damage only to the minions it would be better.
If you damn cry babies get this nerfed as well I swear I’ll never forgive you.
Should I make a list of broken Rogue cards?
Exactly this. People on here are beyond childish. Let's see. Skull of guldan is too op, but 3 mana "skull of guldan" off tog or 7 mana draw 4, cost 0, equip 5/2 weapon is fair. "But it requires setup." Lol yeah, because having to include cards in your deck that generates a ton of lackeys is a drawback.

People jumped on that bandwagon because OP literally said in his first post he couldn't clear it and he survived 2 turns. So yeah that was actually the problem. No shit he lost that game. Pretty much like you lose any game you leave on the board a minion with a strong effect unchecked. And this one is a 3/2...
So your gung ho aggro deck got countered by him. That's his job. If you were playing control you wouldve had an answer. Nobody sheds a tear for aggro players.

People still angry about Demon Hunter, when Druid is at 10 mana when I arrived at 4. When Rogue draws their whole deck, and I'm crying over not having a single tutor or neutral draw card.Or when Rogue generates 4 Dragonqueens and 18 win-conditions because of certain 1 mana 1/1 cards. When Warlock's Galakrond is coded like Quests; always in opening hand, and always fully Invoked.
It's about time people accept how a game like this works. There will always be a strongest class, and right now, we actually have a few of them. Priest is doing okay, Druid, Rogue and Warlock are brokebacked out of their mind, and Demon Hunter is still strong. And why shouldn't it be? This whole forum would cry even louder if Blizzard released a shit class. There are strong cards, there are strong classes. Deal with it.

The problem in my opinion is that DH has too many broken cards and he does everything better than any other class... removals, draw, tempo cards and face damage... he has it all and this shouldn´t be the case.

Altruis is the best new card, I love him! Really cool design.

The priestess Is op as hell...
Honestly, as much as i hate play against it i think it's a really sick design card.

The card is fine I have played demon hunter a bit now and he VERY rarely survives a single turn so guess bad luck on your part there IMO.
So your gung ho aggro deck got countered by him. That's his job. If you were playing control you wouldve had an answer. Nobody sheds a tear for aggro players.
my first thought as well
Google search: Is Hearthstone free to play?
Then my bad, didn't read the post full then!
FOR THE HORDE!
Altruis is fine. Priestess is much more of a priority to nerf.
