Am I the only one thinking that Faceless Corruptor is stupidly OP and likely a mistake? It's close to a post-quest Oasis Surger With the only precondition being having a disposable minion on board, which most tempo/aggro decks can very easily achieve.
It's a 2 of in the vast majority of the decks we've seen so far, which seems like a gross over-representation.
Edit: As someone pointed out, Bonemare is probably a more obvious comparison. Faceless Corruptor on a 1/1 is a +4/+3 buff with a 5/4 body. That's 2 less health than Bonemare, but it's 2 less mana than a pre-nerf Bonemare and the played body has rush too.
Nope, I just lost to this card and this card alone it swung the game in a complete 180, its a pyroblast in terms of how much damage it can do to you face if this one minion and its companion stick the next turn and it almost always has favorable trades to make if played on curve...

I think the biggest problem is that it's a rare card. Even if it was a legendary everybody would play it.
I personally really like the card and enjoy playing both with and against it. Maybe it could see a small stat nerf (to like a 5/3, making it easier to remove, or 4/4, decreasing the damage output) but as a Rare card that can be played in every deck type (maybe except heavy control decks, but these have answers to it anyway) I don’t think this should be nerfed. Corridor Creeper allowed for much bigger board swings and even Control decks would run it as an aggro counter. This is more of a Bonemare-level card which was considered OP, but players lost interest in it quickly and even before the nerf, it was seeing play mostly in budget lists.
lul, players lost interest into bonemare before nerf? what have you been smoking.
found the quest shaman player
I don't mean that Bonemare wasn't too strong before the nerf. It had a very high winrate, but most people were whining about Cubelock and Secret Mage and Bonemare was not necessary in all the decks, being later replaced with Corridor Creeper as the swing card. And no, I'm not playing Quest Shaman. The deck is just straight up brainless bullshit.

if you are not playing 2 of this bad boys you are an idiot or a highlander deck
uh, its a good card but shaman galakrond is more broken
also tip the scales is in the game right now
I vote no as well. CC got nerfed because it's completely different in its use and abuse.
I enjoy.
This is my least favorite card of the expansion. It’s so stupidly efficient with no downside beyond “have another minion on board.”
Imagine Blizzard printing a better aggro card than Fungalmancer
This space is intentionally blank.
It's good for aggro decks. It's mediocre in everything else.
It's a great card, I like its' concept a lot.

Dont get me wrong the card is absolute amazing but I dont think the faceless is that OP.
damn dude, this card could be the strongest one in the expansion

Atm it is the most played card in standard, above zilliax by a lot!! That says it all..
Yeah, a toast!
Yeah, I think it should be nerfed to 3/4. Would be way less opressive.
Right now it's usually 5/4 body with rush and +4/+3/rush buff on a 1/1 token which is absurd.
yes is way too strong for neutral and that mana cost.
stats of 3/3 would still be strong
