And the bitching will lead to more good changes which will lead to even more bitching which will finally lead to Utopia and mankind colonizing the Galaxy!
Is it just me or are there serious issues with the Battlegrounds timer/rope? So many times it seems like you get locked out or have your minions moved back when there should still be 1-2 seconds left.
So apparently Tavern Brawl no longer completes daily quests like "take X turns" or "Play games as X class"?
Is this a bug or this how it's supposed to work now?
For people who have limited interest in constructed this is actually something of an issue. It's also an issue for newer players who might not want to play constructed because they don't have the cards to create a variety of meta decks
I get a ridiculous amount of lag and a weird white noise/hissing audio bug. This makes the game very frustrating to play - especially with high APM builds/heroes.
Am I the only one experiencing this issue? Is there any way to fix it?
You need to get at least a bit lucky with your draws. There's a ridiculous amount of secrets in your deck and if you draw them all up front with no meat to back it up, it's very easy to gas out and get overrun. It took me 3 tries.
So far I haven't played a ton of Scholomance, but what I've played I have Honestly not found very enjoyable.
Maybe I'm just burned out on the game, but I'm genuinely wondering how many are having fun playing Standard right now.
I feel like so many of the new cards are at such a high power level that it creates too many games that essentially hinge on drawing specific cards or combos. And as a result many games feel decided by turn 6 -7, if not sooner.
So is it just me, or is this genuinely not a very enjoyable meta?
The RNG matters a lot but along with the golden minion you also get to discover a minion from a tier higher, which is arguably a bigger deal than the golden minion itself. And you obviously try to time the last dig with levelling.
Yeah, if I remember correctly those nerfs you list span something like 2 years.
Honestly, I get the impression that Blizzard released Demon Hunter fully knowing it was broken, but they wanted people to be excited to play it. Now they are slowly walking it back because people are sick of it.
On the one hand it's really positive that Blizzard are so fast to fix things now, but the whole release of DH seems to contradict the old Blizzard mantra of not sacrificing the long term integrity of the product for fast profit.
Make no mistake: this is the sledgehammer version of a nerf. They tried a bunch of minor adjustments and tweaks but they didn't do the job. My guess is that they were seeing a significant drop off in the number of active players and they realized they needed to do something impactful.

This seems to be the best priest list for me right now. https://hsreplay.net/decks/xbLAtbeh2LuAnDvDWpNzdg/#gameType=RANKED_STANDARD
It has enough early game to compete with the aggro with combos like Pyro + Apo and generally a lower curve with cheap minions and spells.
The highlander variants seem too inconsistent and the Galakrond variants too slow for this ridiculously aggressive meta.
But it's still tier 2-3 at best.

I knew the perks were going to expire, but it's messed up that they bumped the price back up.
Wasn't the whole point that they lowered it because they realized it was ridiculously high?
Maybe Battlegrounds is so popular that they figured they could get away with it.

My impression is that Eudora and Maiev are super powerful but they require a good amount of skill to play optimally, while Hooktusk is a LOT easier.
That's probably why the top players rank those two higher than sites like HS Replay, where they take winrates from all ranks.

Nah, they should probably make him 5 mana just to be sure:)

Finally we're going to see Demon Hunter be balanced. Only took them 4 rounds of nerfs....
Battleground changes look on point too!

Praise Jebus! It took 4 rounds of nerfs, but at last we will be free!
