A Big nerf to Big priest would be more than welcome.
Not sure which one, though, but it has to be big. Removing "rezzed" minion from the graveyard when they are rezzed, and from the game when they die would be a good option.
You all deserve to get crushed by Big Priest. You want to know what I'm sick off, all you people playing nothing but board clears and pack your deck full of nukes. Here's a wacky idea, play more aggro. I'm sick of all these reno fanatics and cyclone mages that all they do if freeze your board until the cows come home.
Trust me I hate big priest as much as all of you and it's my last resort deck to play, but if all you guys are going to play is nukes nukes nukes nukes, I'm going to play big priest and have fun nuking that. My most hated deck is reno lock and that f*cker dirty rat, so I like playing a deck with big minions. If i see renolocks on ladder I will play big priest and I will enjoy crushing the ever loving shit of of them.
But If Big Priest is pissing you off that much, play exodia mage with Emperor Thaurissan(quest version sucks) and it's like a 90% win rate against them on auto pilot mode, the down side is the game does take a few minutes to finish. And the only way they can win if by high rolling with Barnes intoY'Shaarrj, Rage Unbound , Ragnaros, sometimes Lich King if they get lucky with death grip and the only big priest version that is actually tough for exodia mage is the Archmage Vargoth and mind blast to face 6 times. But I haven't been seeing too many of these versions on ladder nowadays.
Mill Rogue works good too, since I mention everyone playing just nukes and no aggro out there, should be okay. And forget nerfing Barnes, Nerf Reno Jackson to always be last card in the deck always.
Because eternal formats are never as popular as standard. Not because some secret big priest cabal is trying to steal your funz.
Standard is more popular so no one plays wild. Great conclusion!
I will never understand these kind of posts. If you dont play wild, its cool, but then just dont say anything about wild topics. You would be surprised how many people are playing this mode. Saying that no one plays it because you dont play it is just rude.
I play Wild. I notice far longer queue times. I notice on HS Replay that many popular Standard decks have five figure number of plays since the expansion. And if I change the filter to Wild only, I see but one. Every other deck is 2K plays or less (as of the time I'm writing this).
I think that for every Wild game played, that are at least ten Standard games that are played. I think that ten is a very conservative number. I wouldn't be surprised it was twenty or higher.
You should do a deck which can win against popular decks. Big priest, baku paladin, murloc shaman, renolock etc.. I hate big priests too but it is wild you should adapt or concede or play standard. Big priests are not that broken. Even Odd paladins are bigger trouble and more meaningless gameplay then priests. tip: make a mill rogue.
Standard feels like a demo game, You got a 1 in 3 chance of playing against all your favorite hits like bomb warrior and mech hunter and cyclone mage and that's it. I'll wait a couple weeks and see where this expansion goes but from what I'm reading it's the same crap for the past two years. Rock, paper, scissors. No dynamite, no superman, no lizard, no spock, just those 3 decks and it's sooo boring to constantly play against those 3.
Hearthstone standard is just a demo version of this game, however i have been hearing success with highlander paladin and some with quest druid lately, but I don't play standard what so ever and everytime I try i just don't have the cards like lately all the buzz been going to Zephrys the Great and out of 200 packs I didn't crack him yet. But people say he's legit and I wouldn't mind trying the card out someday.

Exodia Mage doesn't do too bad against odd paladin either, you just really need a frost nova and doomsayer early on and hope for they either fill the board or doesn't have a silence effect on doomsayer. If you can pull that off, the coast is clear.
But i agree, with the lack of aggro in wild right now, mill rogue the way to go. Beat control, beats big priest, beats exodia mage pretty good too. Tons of reno decks atm because of the new set so anything against control is good at the moment.
Exodia Mage is such an old unsatisfying deck that does the same thing everytime. Let me hide under my ice block because i can't interact with board, or with game. I'm sure all of you will enjoy the sorcerer apprentice nerf coming, which will make all these quest mage decks unplayable. Bullshit "created by" decks. I hope big priest gets destroyed as well, but barnes is not the problem. Rez is. Peace..
I m generaly playing rogue's control or invented archetypes and some secret hunter types. I still have lots of missing cards cuz of playing kindda f2p despite playing for 4 years :) N'zoth mill rogue was my favourite till prep nerf. But now deathrattle reborn minions and shadow of death spell may make it work again, i m just waiting to see how meta gonna be. Then i will start spamming oracles :D
Im a wild player and for months on end big priest is a nuisance that can only be countered by certain decks.
All decks can only be countered by certain deck lmao
Big priest is not that broken, dont understand why does everyone is complaining about this deck
False. Big Priest is the very definition of a broken deck. The ability to produce copies of 9-10 cost minions with 1/1 statistics is not questionable. To revive them with their default statistics multiple times mid-game moves the pendulum too far in favor of the Priest player. Your retort to the individual you quoted is flawed. It lacks substance and counter points.

Each deck has favorable and unfavorable matchups that point is valid. The stigma towards an individual deck to be overpowered or broken is generally due to a specific series of events. The stigma is not put into place by those who have consistently defeated the deck(s) in question, it is put there by the ones who do not.
I am one of those who do not bear that stigma, as I have both played the deck and consistently defeated the deck. I have also been on the receiving end of defeat whilst playing the deck.

Adapt, evolve, or taste defeat.
Negative. I performed quite well as Big Priest from March until July of this year with a 70% winrate. This should not be acceptable in a format where a plethora of cards and decks are playable. I do not accept your subscription of the situation.

However, your statement validates my point. Even the iteration of your Big Priest deck has favorable and unfavorable matchups. Favorable matchups 70%. Unfavorable matchups 30%.

This does not negate the power value of the deck.
What if his unfav matchups were just due to drawing his big minions?
What if his unfav matchups were just due to drawing his big minions?
Semantics, it was still an unfavorable matchup. By playing the game you are aware that the draws are random, building this deck means you are aware that there is an even larger amount of randomness factored in due to the nature of the mechanics being used.
Aggro Flamewalker Mage, classic Aggro Mage, Quest Mage (both versions), any Rogue deck currently, Paladin & Shaman murloc decks if BP dont pull any AoE on turn 5. Also all Reno decks with Brann, Kazakus, Zephyr, Zola, especially Warlock is so painful to beat with Big Priest.
MechCthun Warlock is also insta 100% GG Well Played, I concede for BP.
I see all above mentioned decks from R5 to R3 _ALL_ the time.
These all are perfect counters for BP, stop crying all the time.

Exactly this shows that Big Priest is necessary. The issue in Wild is that everyone is playing control. Big Priest is a control-destroyer, therefore it has a big advantage against these decks. While Aggro can totally destroy big Priest, as long as you don't Barnes exactly into Obsidian Statue with a play into a guaranteed resurrect into another Obsidian Statue, then Mill, Rogue in General, Mage in General, but especially Exodia mage, Mecha'thun, and so on.
The issue with Big Priest is that it's polarizing and can snowball pretty quickly. But that's true other decks like Shudderwock and co. The issue with the high winrate of big priest is simply because everyone is playing control or another slow deck in wild, aggro is nearly non-existant. If there is more aggro, big priest naturally disappears.
In the end let's show some facts instead of these "alternative facts here": fact is that big priest winrate is quite low right now. It's still around 58%, but most tier 1 decks have a winrate above 60%: Right now, Aggro-Mage has a winrate of 67,8%, because it preys on Big Priest, but also other slow decks. As said above: there is too much control in Wild; and Aggro Mage actually does the job even better to pray on them as Big Priest.
