Guys, what do you think, blizzard seems to print that one really unplayable legendary with every new expansion, meaning not just bad, because it doesn't have a spot in a meta deck, but just unplayable. In Witchwood we had Duskfallen Aviana, in Boomsday it was Harbinger Celestia and rastakahn had Griftah.
So what will be the objectively terrible legendary, that you will feel salty for getting it in a pack this expansion? What is your guess? :P Who will it be and what will his/her effect look like?
Those three legendary cards (you also can add Temporus) have something in common : they give the initative to your opponent. So if there is a "bad legendary" printed it will surely be one that has the same consequence.
I really do wonder, why those legendaries ever got released. I don't mind meme legendaries. But when you look at them, you just know they will never find a home. There is not even a niche spot for them. o.O
Like someone actually thought about this design and then someone else said, "great, this effect fits perfectly for a legendary card"
Griftah is not bad than looks, it is a very few techs you can use vs Mecha'Thun decks, play him one turn before your opponent will play the combo, choose the most expensive card two times and you get a extra turn.
I'm sorry but Griftah is underrated. Vanilla statlines and if you're smart you get a better deal than your opponent. Definitely not on the same level as Duskfallen Aviana or Temporus. It's not among the greatest because it can sometimes screw you but it surely is not unplayable.
Griftah is not a bad card btw, it is just a bit too fair of a card
If you can keep both card and give your opponent 1 it will see play and i think nothing wrong with that. A legendary should give you some advantage over your opponent
"If you're smart you get a better deal than your opponent", i'm sorry what? You can't know if you'll get a better card unless either both cards are trash and will probably be a waste of space, or you can predict the future
Okay, griftah is not as bad as the other ones. But still it is a legendary that you feel bad for opening, right? I don't know why it is a legendary. Even it was common effect minion it would not really be played

In this smart means that u choose two of those minions, that doesn’t matter which is yours u benefit more from than your opponent.
With 2x Drakkari Trickster + weapon buffs in thief rogue, it makes me laugh so hard when they consume their mana to empty their hand and let me restore my health with my buffed Spectral Cutlass.
Maybe the card is bad, but one of the most enjoyable card imo.
Guess what? I couldn't even get it from a pack and I crafted it. lol.
And for your question,
I mostly love all of the "crap" legendaries. They made to make too much variety of decks. If i open a viable Legendary, I'm always building a simple deck. That's not funny to play mirror matches all the time.
Memedeck-seeker. Always tries to build new decks. Hates tournements, streamers, netdecks and poor-o players. ah, but a tournement mode could be great !!!
They shouldn't print bad legendaries the game is too expensive as it is. If a card is niche that's fine but cards like duskfallen and Temporus will never have a use.

Don't mind me just passing by

Griftah is so fun to play, tbh. I love to give warlocks Raiding Party and Blade Flurry.

Well they printed it. Fel Lord Betrug!
Bad legendaries dilute the random legendary pool.
Griftah is not garbage

How can one compare truly awful cards and yeti with an upside?
Japetto seems a bad 8 mana legendary
The goal of all life is death.
jappetto is awesome. but all the talk about griftah i agree that it shouldn't be a legendary. Spellslinger
