My fear of failure is actually preventing me from even playing HS lately because I feel terrible when I lose. Yes, it's just a game, but still... it happens.
Talking from my experinece: Dont be focused on the game and just relax. Listen to some music or chat with someone. Also when you play it is good when someone is spectating you so you can laugh off terrible rng or be happy about a good play. There is a lot of things. One things for sure: If you are becoming tilted troughout the day, dont play. You wont become better nor you will win more.
Most of the time i dont care at all. Sometimes tho when i play several insanly lucky hunters in a row or draw badly. Then just stop for a while. Works well

If you have a deck idea might as well go full ham on it.

You want to control your emotions? Get it out of your head that playing the best you possibly can does not always result in a win. Focus on improving your plays rather than winning the game. If I lose a game because I make a stupid play, I’m mad at myself. If I lose because my opponent drew the nuts while I got nothing, I move on with life, because it’s not my fault. It happens.
I don’t get to play as much as I would like because of work and real life etc so I usually enjoy the few hours I week I have to play Hs. But some days i just get destroyed by everything, even favorable matchups and that kinda blows. So I just stop playing and do something else.
There are times when I do get tilted but that doesn’t happen so often these days. HS should be enjoyable and if it’s not, stop playing. There’s tons of other things to do with your time, many of which are actually productive so don’t let a silly game get you down
I still hate losing to hunters tho. That’s pissed me off since I started playing this game and has happened a lot lately!
Meh... I control my emotions more than they control me. I think with my brain, not with my heart. Most people are so driven by sensations and emotions... They must suffer a lot and that puts a smile on my face. :)
- queue into a bad matchup? Don‘t even expect a win
- lose against crazy rng? Appreciate the moment as if it was a highlight on Trolden
- lose to your own mistake? Be mad! Improve! Try again!
Probably most importantly, you have to allways expect the best play from your oponents. This way you are prepared for a Leeroy topdeck or a diremole into razormaw and you can be happy when they don‘t have it. People often undererstimate the probability of these things to happen.
It's often best to engage with your emotions, rather than pretend that they don't exist - if you are frustrated by a losing streak, you might want to consider "why?" Brains are hard-wired to experience negative emotions, like anger or frustration, only for a moment. When you think you are being angry for minutes, or hours, or days on end, you aren't actually experiencing the emotion - you are simply dwelling on all the reasons you think you have to be "justifiably upset." That initial "punch" of genuine anger is long gone, disappearing moments after your opponent top-decked lethal.
Once you identify that you are dwelling on these negative thoughts, you have a choice - continue making yourself crazy by patting yourself on the back regarding how justified your anger or frustration might be, or choose to accept that you simply lost a few games, and that it isn't acceptable to live your life for the next hour or two pretending that the sky is falling.
Get some good “friends”. I have some great people I met via this game and we rant to each other all the time about how ridiculous some games are. It’s a great outlet and you’ll feel better. Also, you’ll know you’re not alone. Bad outcomes and insane RNG can screw us all at times.
Accept that you are not going to win every match, listen to some music or chat with some friends. Some of my best games are with someone on voice chat having a laugh at the stupid things that happen.

How do you manage your emotions while playing Hearthstone?
I'm an adult... and it's just a game?
always blame the opponent or the cards. Good for emotions, not so much for self esteem
Poorly

Hope to get some help in this thread

Just learn on how to keep focus on the game.
Then learn how you can provoke your opponent just using simple emote. Let him enrage and make mistake.
Taking short breaks when feeling tilted

You still can go either way and be right. Basically its just a game, just enjoy it.

Missing lethal since June 2015.
Whenever i get stressed during the game i start masturbating furiously, that seems to take the edge off. Not more then one cup of coffee helps too.

I have no emotions while playing bobbystone.
