I just wanted to share what happened with me as a lesson for others NOT to disenchant AT ALL, so here it is :
Legendaries :
my first Golden Legendary was Splintergraft and I played a couple of games with it and then DE it for a regular Baku since it was my only Druid legendary, when Boomsday arrived I got Flobbidinous Floop in first 10 packs, and while crafting a certain deck I needed the dust so I saw he was a lonely class legendary that I'll probably never use so I DE him, only to buy the Wild Bundle to get Kun, the Forgotten King out of it, making me cringe heavily.
For Warlock, I got Jeklik in some packs after Floop, and again was a lonely class legendary that I might not use so I DE her, only to get Blood Queen Lana'thel and Clutchmother Zavas later on (Zavas 2 days ago and the reason why I decided to write this), I also disenchanted Skull of the Manari back when I started because I wanted to craft Malygos so bad .
For Shaman, I disenchanted Runespear and Stormbringer (not simultaneously), two Legenderies that can open the door for a token Shaman, that and the fact I need Runespear now for Malygos Shaman.
I remember getting Oakhart in first 10 packs of KnC and crafting Drakkari Enchanter and Dragon Hatcher for him and putting some Sleepy Dragons and Malygos and my first Legendary ever Gruul in a Druid deck that got me my first win vs Lich King ,and then I thought this is way too weak compared to other meta decks and I don't have enough Dragons to play it so I DE all three cards (and Gruul), and now after getting Emperor Thaurissan, Warmaster Voone and Deathwing Dragonlord I reallly want those cards back, plus the new Wall Priest Deck would've been an easy craft with Oakhart in my collection.
Priest, Archbishop Benedictus DE, got Velen DE ,Got Bwonsamdi DE .
Voraxx, Dragon Soul, Dr.Boom Mad Genius and the Boomship (again, not simultaneuously), Griftah ,Illidan ,2xOnyxia ,Lorewalker Cho, Moorabi, Boommaster Flark, Myra Rotspring, Hogger, Cairne Bloodhoof, Emiress and Glass Knight.
Epics :
I am just going to write the names and leave the 'what decks could I craft with this' question to you (I have more Legendaries than Epics because of how many Epics I have Disenchanted to craft Legendaries, Legendary obsession if you may):
Voidlord, Twisting Nether, Psychic Scream, Mountain Giant, 2xBlood Knight, Murloc Warleader, Gentle Megasaur, Simulacrum, Obsidian Statue, Shield Slam, Unstable Evolution, Twilight Acolyte, Earth Elemental, Corridor Creeper (100 dust not nerf), Faceless Manipulator, BGH, Primordial Drake, Vivid Nightmare, Gorehowl, 2xDoomerang, Sword of Justice, Spectral Cutlass, Academic Espionage (then getting Lillian Voss in a Pack), 2xDoomhammer, Grand Archivist, Void Ripper, Vilespine Slayer, Prismatic Lens, Star Aligner, 2xAvenging Wrath, 2xSnapjaw Shellfighter, Crystallizer and Necrium Vial, that and double the amount useless Epics like 4xNerubian Unraveler, Ice Cream Peddler ....etc .
Plus I have 0 Golden Cards as of this moment and about 100 dust .
I never dust legendaries, because I dont want to get the shitty ones again. Back in GvG times I was lucky to pull Nozdormu 3 times from classic packs, atleast nowadays you cant pull duplicate legendaries.. For the classic collection I am quite unlucky. On several accounts I pulled Cho (on one, I have nongolden and golden Cho..), Nat Pagle, ..
My fried advised me some month ago to dust my tinkmaster overspark and I regret it very much. Since then I keep everything, even my golden dragon soul.
Lich King, Deathstalker Rexxar, Zuljin, Rhok'delar, Rag ,Sneeds ,Y'shaarj, Sylvanas , Kazakus, Sonya, Antonidas, Tirion, Tarim, Kelthuzad, Stargazer Luna, Baku, Alexstasza, Malygos ,Aya Blackpaw, N'Zoth ....etc and all Epics for Big Spell Mage ( 2xdoomsayer 2x meteor 2x dragons fury) and other decks..., but since Jeklik I haven't disenchanted a single legendary or epic and never will.
i think your problem is not your "bad luck", but rather your poor DE attitude. Like from what you wrote i dont think you needed the dust to craft something else specific at any point that you wanted instead, you just decided you will never need those cards anymore. And you kept doing it. Over and over. Mby you should think about that for a second :) Anyway, GL in the future and try to manage this "condition" lul :)
I kept some Wild Legendaries and epics, dusted everything else except for some mechs for a Wild Rogue deck. I don't play wild much at all so I don't regret it. I'll dust a whole bunch come April. I have about 10k dust now and I am able to craft the Legendary and Epic cards I want so I don't regret it. I advise to do the same, especially with Golden cards you know you won't ever use because they are worth a ton of dust.
Play the cards you want to play, and craft the ones you don't have. Legendary cards are an exception, because you don't want to open the same one again.
Everyone makes the same mistakes early on, when they want that one deck.
I have a Gruul and a golden Gruul, so clearly I don't do much disenchanting. I would always advise everyone to just keep what you get, play as much as you can, and earn what you want that way.

Actually at every disenchant I needed the dust or else I keep the card ,except for the Malygos craft where I just wanted him (not for a deck and was my first 2 weeks in the game),but after getting him and realizing he is useless on his own and needs synergy and after going online for crafting advices I realized you craft decks not cards ,and nearly 60% of these DEs were for a Big Rogue decklist (my collection shrinked to half in 1 day because I wanted to play it ,and got me to rank 4 after not being able to go above 12 before that since all my decks were missing something, including my Even Paladin which was very different from the oppressive version pre-nerf) .
Then wanting a Big Spell Mage, Jade Rogue, Reno Mage,Spell Hunter,Quest Mage.... etc caused the rest of the disenchants .
Guys I learned my lesson the hard way, I don't need advice at this point, the thread was just to make you laugh and prevent that urge to disenchant lots of cards to craft 1 deck from happening to you ,because while it might be fun or rewarding at the beggining since you crafted your first op (Big Priest) or fun (Renolock) deck, long term it's cringey like hell and a waste of time and value .
Bro, my Jeklik looks lonely. Better DE her and then buy some Un'goro and Frozen Throne packs 4 months before rotation.
Seriously though, don't craft tons of cards just to make a certain deck. If you have to craft more than a couple epics and a legendary it's not worth the risk. Also best to avoiding disenchanting legendaries from the newest expansion (or even the current Year). Especially when rotation is right around the corner.

Ok now I know, that's why I wrote this, back then I didn't know and just wanted to try the fun side of the game instead of playing Jade Druid and Odd paladin all the time against people with the same decks from the day I started playing (didn't care about collecting cards and just wanted to play) .
Now, as someone who wants to have a bigger collection to try all the combos and decks the game can offer, I realised how big of a mistake i have done so I wrote this for people who maybe want to have fun with a certain deck momentarily, only to realise they want to have a big collection later on .
I LEARNED MY LESSON, THE POST IS NOT FOR ME.
Thinking about it, you can make an analogy between me and someone who disenchanted his Wild cards and then wants to return to Wild, I'm less of a severe case than that because most of what I disenchant is totally useless (like 4xNerubian Unraveler or Grull Voraax Illidan Lorewalker....etc).
Thank you all for feedback, but I think the thread is being misunderstood.
Wow this made feelsbadman but I NEVER de any unless extras lol. The only thing I can say if I was F2P player and only wanted to play one deck and not buy packs anything I guess it would be fine cause what ur playing only one deck anyhow.

My personal disenchant policy is to never disenchant cards that I don't have duplicates for unless I'm absolutely desperate or dust (which, luckily, hasn't happened yet). My weak point however is that I'm often too hesitant to craft cards because there are so many cards (mainly legendaries and epics) I want that I don't have.
Edit: I also try to not disenchant cards that have a decent chance of getting nerfed. Especially if you keep golden versions you can get some real value out of this, a nerfed golden rare is worth 800 dust unstead of the usual 100 for example.
I've stopped disenchanting some years ago... You never know what might come helpful later on, and when nerfs come, you might get extra dust from the cards you kept (Had 4 spellstones to disenchant last week. total win)
I feel you! Back in the day I disenchanted so many good cards too, only because I wanted to play a certain deck and because I thought the progression in the game would have been much faster than it actually is...
Since that time, I've never disenchanted a single card: I keep even the duplicates, waiting for a Giggling Inventor/Mana Wyrm case scenario, in which I was able to get a small amount of dust for (nearly) free.
The only Legendaries I'm considering to disenchant are Temporus (which has never seen play), Blood-Queen Lana'thel (not a fan of Warlock and not a Tier 1 legendary) and golden Gral, the Shark (he's good, but he can be a free Legendary of my choice).

Well without those disenchants I wouldn't have :

What's a "lonely legendary"?

fuck i did the same in gadgetzan then i learned thew lesson and now only DE BAD legendaries when rotation hits. because y play wild
