well paladin lab is based on crystals and lasers. I'm not sure how that transfers to a HS mechanic though.
We can imagine it will buff minions/mechs in some way though or add a bunch of things like divine shield/rush and lifesteal or something.
As Paladin is one of the mech focussed labs, I think it will benefit mechs over everything, and probably as I mentioned above, do a zilliax type thing that will let it add a bunch of abilities to all mechs on board, instead of just magnetizing with one mech. Maybe it breaks into smaller mechs and magnetizes to all of them?

I hope it's something crazy like that... they did say "modular" was the original idea that became "magnetic" so maybe they retained modular in some way and this is the pally minion.

So I guess the effect could be "Battlecry:Magnetize all mechs in play. (makes them 1 body on board) or, Battlecry: Summon a copy of last mech with magnetic upgrade you play. or, Deathrattle: Summon X/X or X/Y Magnetic Bomb. Magnetic Bomb: Deals X damage to all non-mech enemies at the start of your turn.
OR, He may have a Deathrattle like Tirion Fordring or a battlecry which equips the weapon which Kangor holds to the hero. Weapon can have an effect like " All mechs in your hand has Magnetic" or Kangor Crystalsmith himself can have an effect like "All mechs in your hand has magnetic" or "Your Magnetic upgrades triggers twice." etc.
