1. Hooktusk is way too good. Eudora is also pretty good, but Hooktusk is in the "so good it's broken" territory right now. 2. Cannon is too good. It's showing up in more builds than Spawn of N'zoth, which should be enough to tell you that it's on the too-strong side. 3. How on Earth do they have a matchup system where you can play the same person 3 times in 7 matches? There's enough randomness in the game without that level of randomness in matchups. You shouldn't double up against someone until you've gone through every other available opponent first. Rounds 1, 4 and 7 against Hooktusk just then... fucking LOL.
Edit: just lost on turn FUCKING 8. As Eudora. Got fucking golden cannon on turn 5 (into Goldgrubber, no less) - neato, I'm thinking, that should be pretty darn good. Nope. Cannon got sniped every freaking time. It got taken out twice by Red Whelps, and twice by double cannon + double attack tier 1 pirate on the other side. Have to put it down for now; despite doing well in a trio of games a few hours ago I'm *clearly* not meant to be playing right now.
1) Mill players are the worst and most trash players in all of HS. Count yourselves lucky this isn't a physical card game, where I assume most of you would be punched in your rat looking faces by your opponent. Look yourselves in the mirror and admit how lame it is to get wins that way.
2) Players playing Tier 1 decks with win rates close to 70% in casual are trash as well. Go to the god damn ladder where you belong.

Well, I'm done. I give up. Blizzard you win, I accept defeat. I realize now I can't beat a rigged game.
I've been playing for more than 5 years, spend a decent amount of money, have quite a card collection, and are able to craft a lot of good decks (according to hsreplay and hearthpwn), but I was never able to reach any high levels. Before the current system I reached level 7, en 2 months ago I was able to reach Diamond 2, but then for some unknown reason, the game just turned against me. Like all players, I had my share of losing streaks, but we have reached a point where I honestly think the game is rigged and it (or the developers) really really hate me.
Because I had some bonus stars from last month I did manage to reach D10 again, but it was very hard this time. With a lot of frustration (and almost some broken hardware), I managed the get to D8 with 3 stars. And just like before my losing streaks started (b.t.w it almost always starts when I'm about to level up). I told myself that with good decks it should be impossible to lose 9 games in a row, but I guess I stand corrected. The game just dropped be back to D10 with no stars at a rate like there is no tomorrow.
To be fair, I think winning and losing are both important parts of the game. When implemented correctly it makes it balanced. But the balance is long gone, and targeted losing streaks have taken over. Most of the time I can even predict which deck the opponent is playing at turn 1, but only Blizzard knows why everyone else can win and I almost always lose playing the same deck. Currently, I'm lucky if I win 1 out of 10 games with a deck that should have a 60-70% win rate, just due to a bad mulligan. I even would say that the game has been tampered with, but there is no hard evidence.
After the 9th loss in a row, I closed and uninstalled the game. Playing a rigged game is just not worth the frustration anymore. Until this morning I even though about pre-ordering the next expansion, but that money can now be spend elsewhere.
Psychic Conjurer, Mind Vision and Thoughtsteal are very bad cards imo and should be redesigned or replaced. The worst part is that they are from the classic and basic set, so we'll have to deal with bs rng for years.

I get salty when I play against mill - but not because it's a good archetype. I often play midrange or slower decks, as I prefer having more control rather than rabid levels of aggression. So mill has a better matchup against some of these decks (but even then, if I'm playing combo and they don't burn the pieces they're actually helping me out). It's salt-inducing to lose against them because they're basically just rolling the dice and hoping they don't go up against a relatively aggressive opponent. If they do, they just don't have the tools required to stave off the damage, even with stuff like Khartut or Healbot. Not a fan of people picking an archetype that relies almost entirely on matchup RNG.

This is a salt thread so your post is totally fine - but IMO, they're not too strong at all, which makes them fine cards. Sure, they can hit big and really help the opponent - and if you play in the jank leagues it can be really annoying to face an opponent with a pretty mediocre deck that ends up winning (or getting much closer than they should have) on account of good Thoughsteal RNG - but, failing that, the cards are pretty weak card advantage, getting a random card that likely has no synergy with their own deck. Like my mill response above, this is also another case of matchup RNG - the cards get way better against midrange or slower decks where they can get some quality, stand-alone cards. Against aggro and tempo decks, they're likely to get a pretty standard minion that doesn't add much to their strategy.
But I definitely agree that it can be really frustrating when your opponent includes a usually-bad card, and rolls well with it. Where's the justice! :-P
Ugh, casino mage, down to 4 cards in deck, basically makes their last play - Khadgar into Mana Giant into Conjurer's Calling, and besides getting 2 5/6s also gets that freaking 9/5 demon hunter rush deathrattle minion.
Meanwhile, in 18 cards I can't draw either Plague of Death to basically win there and then. Fun times.
Edit: second casino mage in a row. What is this madness? Do players actually enjoy just rolling dice to see if they win or lose? I know a lot of Hearthstone is like that, but casino mage amps it up to the nth degree.
Yeah Priest without a doubt needs addressing, I can't believe Blizz didn't even touch it. It's infinite card generation combined with top notch removal and near infinite ways of stealing your cards is too much they are nigh on unbeatable unless they draw the drizzling shits, which never happens.
Ok, I'm really annoyed with this battlegrounds one. Never mind the copious amounts of people with cannons - freaking awful card - but this last round, Ysera player stays on tier 1 until at *least* turn 4. That's an awful strategy IMO; dragons aren't good enough that Red Whelps alone will carry you to top 4.
Ended up getting killed by them - on tier 4 - with Nadina. Yep, the Ysera player that made a seemingly very obvious misplay (at around 7500 ELO) gets rewarded with Zerus Nadina. There's no justice in the world.
Remember when Warrior always had firey war axe in their opening hand? Has anyone noticed that hunter always has dwarven sharpshooter it their opening hand?

I give Blizzard credit for knowing their audience. I can almost hear the moron getting spoon fed perfect cards on curve saying to himself "man I am really good at this".
Though specific salt in this case: forced to go Finley (trash alternatives), forced to go Millhouse (it's ok, but not my playstyle, and the alternatives are trash). Forced to go mechs without Deflecto (basically what I was offered), get only 1 golden until my second last turn, and die to exact lethal in 5th spot.
Next game isn't shaping up too nicely - turn 2 Mukla (after hero powering turn 1 and 2) into turn 3 AFK. Hate virtually unwinnable matchups like that, and it's totally luck of the draw (that is, it's a roll of the dice whether or not you'll be against a hero that typically doesn't level up on round 2).
Fucking shithouse Battlegrounds hey.

WON my first ever BG after constantly placing 6/7, and the bleeping game didn't even record it.
Whole freaking salt mine over here.

Not salty myself but my recent opponent definitely was! lmao
The deck i hate the most playing against is Shudderwock quest Shaman, but this guy also had C'Thun !
So i was playing Thief rogue and got Ancestor's Call and used it at the right moment.. rip Shudderwock
Then he/she added me and hoped i will die in a car crash.
oof the salt there is like... ominous.
edit: forgot to quote, this is in regards to the post above me ^
I think there's a different thread for humble brags like this
If you can't tell from the mulligan if you are going to win or lose the game you aren't paying attention.
That you took the time for a reply like that lol... get a hobby mate.
Remember when Warrior always had firey war axe in their opening hand? Has anyone noticed that hunter always has dwarven sharpshooter it their opening hand?
Yeah always, and Scavenger's Ingenuity the turn after
