I opened a thread at HS reddit to discuss the daily quests which I think should be changed to sth. better. You can read over it here: https://redd.it/7673xt
Would be great to know what others think about the daily quests, so please leave your vote.
All single-class quests should be removed, they didn't exist at the beginning of the game so you could chose not to play a class you don't like/don't have cards for, but for some bizzare reason they forgot about it.
The quests are a HUGGGGE waste of time as designed and yet another poor design in a game swamped with bad design. Something like win 5 games with X class can take several hours to complete and the gold value is so puny that it barely makes sense to keep them. They still give out the awful "watch and learn" quest which is basically a "bankrupt" when you try to reroll a quest. I usually end up with the same quests all week because they're either too specific for a class I dont play and i cant reroll enough to remove it or their just not worth the time/gold award. Like really/ pay 10 minions over 8 mana? so that's, if youre lucky and build a deck tailored toward that and play 2 quest minions each 30 minute game and finish the quest in like 3 days. They suck and are stupid and the only people who like them are the Blizzard lunatic fans who think anything Blizzard does is pure genius and can never be improved upon.
tbh the win games quests are bad both for new players and vetean players, i would change the "Win" quests to deal X damage as Y class, yes the player might not like or nor have access to the better class cards, but he isn't automatically screwed if his priest colection isn't stellar when he gets a priest quest, it'd also encourage more players to try fun decks in casual other than just playing the FOTM/OP tier 1 deck, example: Plenty of players expressed their discontent at facing hordes of Pirate warriors at Msg's and Ungoro's Casual mode, Pokemon does a great thing where the "win" quests are just soemthing like, "Knockout 16 pokemon with your water pokemon", so you just build a deck with a decent water attacker and wether youw in or lose you can just get the quest done .
No shit every player would be happier if quests were easier to do and rewarded more gold :P
Unfortunately for us, the quests are made to be tedious and output small rewards. This isn't an oversight, it's intentional. Quests are the main fuel for f2p players and starving f2p players turns them into pay2win players. Of course, this has a chance to just turn away said f2p players but as a game with such a big following already, they wouldn't really care
Telling Blizzard to make their quests more reasonable is like suggesting the amusement park to lower the prices of their tickets and concessions to make the experience more enjoyable
They could change them to "discover a class, win 3 games with that class".
uhm... control decks still have to drop their opponent's hp to 0 to win a game, well unless we count exodia paladin but the overall thing is you still have to attack to win a game regardless if you are playing aggro or control.
The quests that annoy me most are quests to do something specific (e.g. 10 overload cards, divine shields or 20 deathrattles etc.). I imagine the the idea behind them are that people try something new, but in reality I'm pretty sure everyone just jams a bunch of minions with that effect in their deck and then quickly grinds some games with it.
Single class quests are also annoying though. Quests in general are annoying, but meh, gotta work for that gold I guess.
Well, they r made so u "have to" try out a new class and mby realize u like it. I know that for seasoned players its more of a bother than enything, but u can do Q vs a friend (or yourself, if u friend your 2nd acc and run two instances of HS), so technically it shouldnt be too much of a time waste.
I dont mind them myself, at least i have an excuse to pick a shitty class in arena and have some fun with a shitty deck trying to win as much as i can :)
They just need to increase the rewards. 40G is ridiculous for a f2p player. Double the gold rewards. It will lead to a healthier meta if people have more access to the cards, instead of being forced to craft 1 tier 1 deck to play for 4 months.

Hi all

Piloted Shredder, Knife Juggler, Mad Scientist, Dr. Boom
Need to be removed from this game
I think they should be changed, by:
-increasing their value, since 40g for a quest leads to 5 days : 2 packs ratio, which isn't helping new players at all,
-removing winning as quest, since it forces players to use meta decks on casual, making it a game mode for gold grinding, not to have fun.
BUT there are many class specific quests, hence swapping out may lead to yet another one!
swaps "win a game with warlock or priest" to "win 5 games with the warlock"
Garrosh did nothing wrong.

that "deal x damage as y class" wouldnt do much, youd basicly just reward players even more for playing agressive decks

Isn't playing a children's card game by definition wasting your time? What do you expect OP.
Another entitlement thread at its heart. Give me give me give me. It's no wonder the world suffers from laziness and obesity.
