Because you know, I can't just play whatever is top tier next month and get easy legend again.
What's the point of it tho, apart from wasting another 4-5 days? Even bots may eventually reach legend if using a proper well-balanced deck like aggro shaman.
What else would I play? A tier 5 deck so I get shit on by everyone? That sounds like a blast.
I can throw together a junk deck and try playing with it, but when I know, that 90% of the time, maybe more, I will play against a deck I know I have no chance of beating. Why would I want to do that when I can just play what everyone else is playing and try to win? I don't know about you, but it's not fun to lose all the time. I like to have fun playing the game as well. Yes, I would love to play different decks, any kind of deck and know I won't lose 9 out of 10 matches, but unfortunately, Heartstone isn't like that.

Suddenly, you can do some analysis and possibly come up with a deck that is original AND effective, tweak it even more, then at some point somebody will netdeck your deck because it's good. Actually, that's how the new decks appears on some sites like hearthpwn. Why would you do that tho, right? You just want to win in easiest way possible, like the majority. Millions of flies can't be wrong.
Choose Life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a fucking big television, choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol, and dental insurance. Choose fixed interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisurewear and matching luggage. Choose a three-piece suit on hire purchase in a range of fucking fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who the fuck you are on Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing, spirit-crushing game shows, stuffing fucking junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pissing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, fucked up brats you spawned to replace yourselves. Choose handlock or even a control warrior. Choose life... But why would I want to do a thing like that? I chose not to choose life. I chose somethin' else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who needs reasons when you've got aggro shaman?
Hearthstone "isn't like that"? Its the community who made it (well, at least a ranked mode) a dull polarized piece of shit basically not worth playing, the game itself hardly has any personality neither follows any cliches. Also, video games were supposed to have some element of fun, they aren't another fucking job to throw away anything but effectiveness.
Yep man I agree with you 100%! I make all my own decks, but people like Scout1515 are lazy and netdeck all the time.
Netdecking isn't a crime in any way, its hard to come by with something completely original with all the archetypes accumulated during these 3 years, say you hardly can invent your-own-brand-new miracle rogue etc, on the other hand putting some thoughts and tweaks of your own isn't bad at all.
What is sad that most of the "netdeckers" do a plain copypaste of the deck, play it for a while, then just copypaste another when the first one becomes ineffective. As for the latest hyper-aggro "gems" that came in play, they are so straightforward there's no place for imagination. Well, there will never be if the deck's goal is to do maximum face damage in minimum amount of turns.
This is right - hunter has been killed by reno. Hunter was great at early board control targeted at a game that gets about to turn 8 -10. That doesn't work with both reno and decks that are much more aggressive than a beast/secret hunter.
Hunter was fast, but not fast enough for reno AND pirate decks.

Right. Hunter could possibly contain other aggro decks and have a chance. But having to concede to Reno decks, it's just not entertaining and as soon as you realize that only a handful of Jade/Aggro decks contend with Reno, there is no reason not to play these decks. If you could Ban a card during ladder play, Reno would be first.
You've got it exactly backward, there is no such thing as a cancer player, only a cancer deck. If a deck or particular card is too strong you can't blame players for playing it in a competitive game. You CAN however blame team 5 for bad design, and there have been some decks that legitimately were cancer. UT Hunter, Leeroy Rogue, old Freeze Mage, Patron Warrior, Combo Wombo Druid. Yeah... it's really incorrect to act like people were just being spoiled for wanting those decks re-balanced, which is why they in fact DID get nerfed. You can't say "well this is why Team 5 didn't nerf x dec" when actually you are wrong and that is exactly what they did because even they realized that sometimes a deck is broken aka cancer.

Why do people still call it cancer? In the current Meta isn't scurvy more appropriate?
EDIT: Fun Fact in the 18'th century it was thought that Scurvy was caused by eating salt meat in a damp environment.
