The only to blame for the meta being so aggro is us, hearthstone is not just a casual game is a competitive one. The ladder is so f'''''''' competitive and hard, that we have to find ways to win or lose games at a fast pace. Imagine all games during 15 - 20 min, the problem is not just the time but the rate of victory. For a hardcore player this maybe be easy, face the ladder and play 5 hours per day, but for us normal ones its f'''''' hard. So we try to find ways to make the cilmb the more fast possible. If i play 2h a day all days i would have played 60 hours of hearthstone, who tha f'''' think that i will hit legend at the end of the month playing 20 min games, no one. So dont blame average players for playing aggro meta because one day the average player was you. Sorry for the write, english its not my native language
Yeah, like I put Control because I've played that the most since Beta... but I like hitting people in the face, playing minions on curve is relaxing, and sometimes life isn't complete until you see all of your combo pieces fall into place. I'd consider myself more a Hearthstone player, since you're welcome to limit yourself to a single archetype but it's not the entire game.

Articles I suggest every player reads to improve at the game;
It's strictly a numbers game for some. They play to rank up, by whatever means. If you have a lower winrate but faster deck, you can often climb much faster (because of sheer volume of played games) vs a higher winrate but slower deck.
Personally I don't find much enjoyment simply in winning, but in winning because my decisions made the difference. Playing out my cards and going face isn't satisfying - that's the cards winning the game for me. Naturally I'm more of a control player.

Why the duck you need that legend that much? If i have say a hour to play, i prefer to play 2-3 really interesting games instead of 10-15 mindless SMOrc masturbation sessions, thank you.

Also, engrish over9000.
I think you meant "Why the fuck do you need legend that badly?" Ducking learn English before you criticize someone else's. If you play just for fun and enjoy winning with whacky or challenging decks that's great but that is not what everyone enjoys. Some people play to win because playing a game competitively isn't about which deck is the most fun to build and make. Some people also just genuinely like to hit face. So you play the game the way you like to and let other people play the game the way they want to.

Ya know what? When you are not being salty and a little petulant, you make good sense. I'm more of a Mid Range guy myself, I like a nice even curve and I prefer my decks to have some thought behind them. I got Aggro out of my system during the Undertaker Hunter phase post Naxxramus and since then it's not been about winning, but about playing the game.
Ha, thanks. Like I say a lot in the salt thread, I just use it specifically what it's meant for - venting frustration. You shouldn't take anything I say there seriously.

Where's "combo player" and "complete player"?
People who refuses to play aggro out of principle are even worse than people who play exclusively aggro.
One should seek to become a complete player and play all archetypes, including ones that he despises for whatever irrational reasons.
Where's "cancer player"?
