Pep Talk: Nothing wrong with the card itself, but ignoring Taunt would have to be a theme in your class. It's a simple mechanic but Blizzard has never added it in yet. Maybe they want to preserve the stability that Taunt provides? Your class' flavour could be enhanced by this but it can't be a one-off thing, just a reminder for future sets. Hack and Slash are... fine. Just really boring, no offense. There's no problem with them, I just though you could use them for something better. Late for Training ..."ok". Giving a minion charge is always very dangerous... but "ok". For now. Worthy Opponent: I see you have a vanilla minion. There is a way to introduce vanilla minions, at least, for me. Think of a stat line your class would *love* to have. Maybe your class needs a big health minion to soak damage and act as a heal target. Maybe you class is weak against Priest, so you add a solid 4-attack minion. Does a 3/8 benefit your class in any way?
Pep Talk: yeah, i can definitely do more Ignore Taunt cards in the future, obviously i will have to be careful how i incorporate them.
Hack n Slash: well, i agree that they r boring AF, but they r cards i would like to have in the basic set, especially Slash to showcase one of the weaknesses of the class "weak aoes", while still being a decent card in general (mainly for arena) and being part of the basic set, it would "never" rotate out. I think it wouldnt be that obvious, if they werent the two cards for the #6 challenge, but they kinda fit perfectly there :/
Worthy Opponent: since i plan to build my class mainly around minion combat and advantages of having a board, a solid body that will most likely survive a turn like this is what my class would want, yeah. And again, it is a solid minion that would be a nice pick in arena and would be avalible always, since it would be a part of the basic set. The 3 attack is there on purpose to die to Shadow Word: Pain, but i didnt go any lower to dodge Potion of Madness, Cabal Shadow Priest and Stampeding Kodo. But u rise a good point, mby i should change it to 4/7, there arent many 4/7 minions either and definitely no vanilla one, do you think that would be better stat distribution, with what i said why i made the minion in a first place?
I like your cards more now. I'd seriously consider changing the hero power though, as it doesn't pass the Finley test... (other classes would have no benefits from increasing deck size with Ocean Depths)
Tbh, it technically *does* pass the finley test as Ocean Depths doesn't actually do anything at all. I have changed it, though, as one person did point out earlier it would be too weak as a different class' Hero Power. OR
As for your cards: Chain: I'd probably up this to 1 mana, sort of like the Hunter's Mark treatment. It's just way too good at 0 mana. Mind Shield: Nooooooooope. This sort of unique application should definitely first be introduced by an epic/legendary, or at least a rare (such as Auchenai Soulpriest), and then gradually eased into a common card.
I like Consuming Blade a lot.
Your Hero Power... eh. It uses both a keyword and switches Hero Powers, it looks like. Eh. I just don't like that sort of thing.
4/7, or even 5/6. 5/6 was a powerful arena tool that TGT took away from us.

I have a different plans for 5/6 5 mana minion(s), so i think i will make it 4/7 instead, not to mention Pit Fighter is a vanilla minion with such stats.
@CheeseEtc Eat alive: I would just use the wording "Resummon it" as it's basically the same text length and is less confusing. If I was a new player I didn't have a description of regurgitate I'd be really confused especially since it isn't a keyword so I couldn't get a description in game. Also I personally don't think it feels very basic but you can probably get away with it.
Beefy Vegetarian: This guy would butcher every other class in arena. Maybe make him a 9/9 (he'd still be really strong) or use the second version of him which I prefer, but which is also really strong and probably flat wins you the game if your ahead, especially in arena. On second thought stick with the first version :P
Eat it Too (2): Pure synergy cards don't fit in basic imo so I'd stick with the original.
Butcher: I prefer this over Eat Alive. Cost is probably fine as for instance, the card would be unplayable in the current meta due to Bonemare and all the other buffs.
Have your Cake: I much prefer the second version as a draw 10 is gonna be problematic on so many levels and it'll hurt your design space.
Vegan Diet: I prefer the second version as it's more versatile.
Also I have no idea where the The Cake is a Lie token comes from.
@McF4rtson Both your new Ocean Depths seem good but I'd make the first one restore 3 health instead as it seems rather weak atm given you need to wait for the healing.
Id make it 2 only if i removed "Ignores Taunt." as you suggested, but i think i will keep the interaction and as McF4artson suggested, will integrate it into my class more in the future, ever so carefully :)
Taking feedback and my own intuition/ideas into account, I've decided to keep my original, simple Hero Power "Deal 2 damage to a random enemy". I will bump Giant Barbecue to 7 mana.
I'm reworking on my basic set. I will probably drop "Have your cake and eat it too" unless I find a superb idea for it. There's a lot of disagreement on which hard removal I should use, damn.
@Livienna: I will keep the Drake though, as I think it does a good job at showing some Roast synergy.
@Sinti: Token Druid; Token Shaman; Inner Fire Priest; and to a lesser extent Zoolock and Aggro Pally all could use a 0/7 token. This is not negligible. Of course there ARE classes/decks against which a 0/7 is just a wasted slot (like Mage) but those classes/decks aren't classes/decks that would use 7 slots anyway. I'm willing to bump Butcher to 4 (if I choose it), but no more than this.
Hopefully I will show a new basic set tonight.

I actually think its fine, at least for arena. That was my remark about Ironbark earlier anyway. 8/8 taunt or 10/10 taunt, that doesnt rly matter at that point. And you cant attack with it, that is a sufficient punishment for those extra stats, almost too severe. So i think you can keep it.

Have you ever wondered what'd happen if a random guy just casually decided to grab a few bags full of those and run around like a lunatic? Well wonder no longer! I present to you, Gabriel Gillian, the Scribe!
Hero Power: A scribes magic comes from scrolls and tomes, which comes with one big advantage, if you use a scroll and you need another, just draw one up (Gabriel is quite the artist)! That of course will take awhile hence the extra mana cost but the possibilities opened by it are endless!
New Keyword: Tome These show up like a secret but visible to both players. They are buffs that will cancel under a certain condition. Makes deck building really interesting especially the more you try to have active at once.
Class Themes: - Controlled RNG effects. - Effects with a duration. - The condition of "If your opponent controls no minions" on cards. - Cards that affect adjacent minions.
Strengths: - Extremely versatile hero power that you can adapt to your opponent. - Plenty of card draw. - Stronger while opponents bored is cleared (KILL ALL THE THINGS!!).
Weaknesses: - No healing (some preemptive pseudo healing options are available however). - Limited direct damage and finishers (must win through complete domination!). - Weaker while behind on bored (as you have less control over your controlled RNG effects, and no good comeback cards).
Example Cards:
Even though the class is not particularly minion or buff orientated, there are still some options available as the perk of being a scribe is having something ready for every situation! Scroll of Might is also a good way to dump a card if your drawing too much, and it's an early enabler for your hero power.
Sometimes the most powerful scrolls aren't even magical! This is an example of the preemptive pseudo healing the class has access to. However if your already on low health, it probably isn't gonna help you that much. This is also another early enabler for your hero power.
Scroll of Fire is the perfect example of the controlled RNG effects the class uses. If your ahead you can likely exactly control the outcome of the card. However the bigger your opponents bored, the less control you have over the card and the worse it becomes.
The class has few minions but they are quite powerful if you can keep your opponents bored clear. Runic Dominator is a great but simple example of this!
Scroll of Destruction is the classes signature removal card. It works wonders with your hero power assuming your not behind and can spare the extra mana.

My friend tried to upvote me after the first 2 people upvoted me and while it ACTED like he had upvoted (meaning that he had the remove upvote button), the upvotes still displayed at 2 and with the same 2 people who had upvoted me. I'm worried if this isn't fixed I might not get any more than 2 upvotes, or if it's not fixed soon I might lose upvotes I would have otherwise got. Help would be appreciated.

Sadly this is a wide spread problem on this forum. Sometimes upvotes dont register at your end (but the site does register them) and ppl might click on it again thinking that the first time they clicked didnt go through, but what actually hapens is they in fact cancel the first upvote that did go through, but it buged out on their end. If this happens to someone, it is happening to all the posts, not just yours. Clear the internet cache, log out and log back in on the site, most common "fixes" for this, tho not 100% guaranteed. Or just click on the upvote once, even if it doesnt register for you (your friend) it does for the site. Not much we can do on our end, sadly.
Edit: So if the site registers the upvotes, does that mean that the mods can see them in some way? I just want to know whether it's going to hurt me in any way that the upvotes are frozen on my post

Crushing Arms. Ok.
Break: Ok.
Rain Boulders: Looks like a warrior card. Do you plan to make damage synergy? If so, perhaps you should put some in your basic set as well.
Cursed Monolith: The Mutations could be 4/4s.
Collect Sand: Alright Filler.
Pelt Stones: Could become dangerous in the future, be careful about the type of cards you do with this!
Aftershock Elemental: Alright.
Earthbound Elemental: Alright filler, but it lacks the Elemental tag.
Mold: You could make this a 6mana 4/4 that says "Battlecry: Gain 8 Armor". I don't know why this is a spell.

The problem with your basic set is that I don't really get how your class is played and what makes it stand out. In particular, I see no cards that could synergize with either your hero power and your keyword. I advise you to replace the least original cards with these synergies. I also get that you want to make scattered damage a theme of your class, perhaps you could add some synergies there as well, stuff like Frothing Berserker (not as powerful of course, it would be broken in your class).
EDIT: I noticed you already submitted. I don't know if you can make all those modifications.
@Sinti: But it's implied from Blade Flurry's effect that it requires a weapon, besides it's not a basic card. I still think it should be "to". Many classes can take advantage of a 0/7 token (Inner Fire anyone?) which is why I made it cost 3. Perhaps it should be 4 mana but that's as far as I'm willing to go (If I go with this one of course).

Armor I provide to the class is just for the survivability for a class like how druid has armor to tank up and i dont see much synergy with hero power in druid either. I'm suprised your also saying "filler" for some cards but ehhhh? Secong thing, i made some things be a spell for a small reason, which is less minions more diversity in spells and it might break something later on if i make it. but thx for the review

Its good that Mold is a spell, if it was minion it would basicaly predate Shieldmaiden and i dont think that would fly (since it would then make no sense to have Shieldmaiden in the game). This kinda bypasses that, even tho its literally the same thing.

The Scribe
Intro:
