I really thought I would make it. There's a lot of entries from the same pages, like 4 entries from page 5, 3 entries from page 7 etc...
Yeah, I'm starting to realise that beeing on the first page is more like a disadvantage than anything else. Maybe the formula is not working as intended.
Oh well, that was a bit of bummer but I'm fine with it. Better luck next time :)
It's crazy how much weight each vote holds in the later pages. Like on page 5, 6 votes versus 4 votes is a 50% jump which equates to 75 votes to 50 on the first page for example. The system pretty much promotes people on the first few pages to go into the later pages and upvote the losing cards to minimize the gap between them and the leading cards so they may have a chance of getting in. That doesn't seem right at all! Like had I upvoted the 4 vote card to 5 votes would the 6 vote Ressurect card even of made it into the finals?
The voting system seems so delicate and easily manipulated.
Draenei Totembuilder: Cool effect, though like everyone else the art is slowly killing me. Not sure if its worth playing on T9 cause then you can't do any other combos that turn. Also it has taunt, so forget about ever getting to use your Wrath of Air Totem.
Spore Trap: Hmm, i'm trying to see how this is used. I get that for basic application you'll get Wicked Knife, or Armor Up, but i'm super confused about Mage... Does it target a random enemy? Pls explain :(
Murlidan Tiderage: Me likey. I wish there was a way to make it bigger faster because Murloc Warleader buffs can only go so far, so I honestly don't think this card would be played outside of Murlock. BUUUT that's the point so it works perfectly :D. Voted
Izra the Eternal Lich: I like it, simple, and a great effect... Is it broken? welll, maybe. But it does bring huge Inspire synergy, and I feel like that mechanic was extremely close to paying off. I tip my hat to this card. At the same time, it's pretty standalone... only buffs seem to make it stronger. Voted
Undaunted Spirit: Right off the bat I feel like secrets shouldn't have 4 lines. The more complicated the harder it is to use. Reading it however, I feel like it is a really good effect. On the other hand you can't really play Noble Sacrifice with this, and Pally right now survives more on Battlecries and Buffs than 1/1 with effects. It does punish your opponent for hitting your soft taunts though, so that's pretty good.
Patient Sniper: Ok, 5 mana 3/4. I'd say it's balanced because its an obvious control tool, but it prevents you from playing your Savannah Highmane on T6. At the same time, as great as Assassinate for a turn is, you can't really anticipate what your opponent plays, and they could just spam tokens or trade and spell up/drop useless stuff. Because of this I'd say this is a pretty weak Doomsayer-esque minion. I still like it though. Voted
Aspiring Alchemist: Ok, I'm gonna be the person to say it. This card is BROKEN. It could be ANY OTHER FACTION BESIDES KABAL yet here it is. You're giving yourself Archmage Antonidas and Flamewaker fuel. Heck, this is even broken if Freeze mage wants to useDemented Frostcaller with this card. It swings way too easily. And not just mage too! Priest already has Raza the Chained, Mind Blast, Prophet Velen, Auchenai Soulpriest... (You see where I'm going with this....) Don't like this card at all.
Tanglewood Horror: Pretty neat effect, however I feel like this is not helpful. Ok, brushing aside the AoE and single point damage dealt by Karazhan and MSG, Old Gods proved that delayed effects like this never really work in your favor. I mean, look at The Boogeymonster. Cool effect but it has no synergy with anything and has a conditional trigger. This is a weaker version with a better body but I feel like it's in the same boat.
Wild Engineer: Neat, it allows you to HP on the spot, and it helps when your pressed for space. At the same time, it doesn't actually seem that useful (WHAT ZENCE??). I'll explain: Refreshing your hero power means that you'll be paying 4 mana for 2 ATK and 2 Armor... Why don't you just play Claw? Including the minion it costs 5 less mana and instead of playing a 2/3 you can use that mana to play something more helpful. For the 2nd option, yeah it costs 1 less, but only that turn. So you'd be paying 3 mana for a 2/3 and HP, which is good, except I don't want to play this T3 when I have Jade Blossoms, Druid of the Flame, etc. Awkward placement for this minion indeed.
Knifey Wifey: My goodness, 5 health is really good, and stealth with cheap health regeners can keep this minion A-OK. Now with the effect. 3 mana is pretty cheap. It obviously sucks early/mid game, but later on it would be so useful. Using cards like Justicar Trueheart paired with other combo cards like Jade Shuriken make this effect really powerful. Also it has pretty obvious synergy with Tinker's Sharpsword Oil. The only issue I have with this is that I think it is indeed OP. I mean, look at Maiden of the Lake... Sure she's not a legendary but the fact that she has slightly subpar stats with a mana cost that's a bit demanding makes her pretty balanced. This card has better stats, is cheaper, and has an additional effect.
Sargerei Soulpriest: Ok I'm gonna say this again because it seems like everyone (including the creator) missed a huge flaw in this minion. I totally get what you were doing, reversed Auchenai yada yada ya, but this card doesn't work. The flaw is in the wording, "Your CARDS and powers..." Seeing the interaction between Auchenai Soulpriest and Mistress of Pain/Wickerflame Burnbristle, attacking a hero will kill you. The quirk with this card is as follows: YOU CAN'T ATTACK! What do I mean? If you follow the wording, battle interactions for you will now become, "If your minions attack an enemy, they will heal them equal to their attack and then take attack damage." That's pretty bad. I wish this was discovered earlier so it could be changed to "Your SPELLS and powers" because as of now this minion will lose you a game instantly.
Silvermoon Spirithealer: I am totally not digging this card. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Resurrect. But I am also one of those people who think it's broken... This card would be totally fine with this ability, except for the fact that priest can buff the ever-loving heck out of this card, so its untouchable. Destroyed by minion or spell? Guess what deck you're playing with... It like playing Dragonkin OP when it discovers himself but for 2 mana and a smaller body. This card is super OP.
Jade Spiritualist: Not broken cause it's not Kabal. I also think this version is worded better. Now I can vote. Voted
I'm voting for Izra the Eternal Lich. I would make one small adjustment, that the hero power change only lasts a single turn. It'd make killing the card a more tactical decision, trying to force your opponent to spend mana or lose value. It'd probably have to be banned in Arena, unfortunately. Still, an original concept for a low mana legendary. If this was a classic card, I'd see it as a great evergreen investment for newer players.
There are a few cards I really don't like. Murladin Tiderage is riding on meme power. There were numerous other cards that had a similar effect, and were worded much better. As worded, this card's interaction with alternate hero powers would make no sense. While I appreciate the custom art for Spore Trap, I'm not into the drug references. Whatever your opinions on recreational drug use, I don't think this has any place in the game and just feels like a lame stoner joke. You've got talent and imagination, put it work in a more serious card next time. Knifey Wifey is offensive, but I'm guessing the author doesn't understand that "wifey" is a derogatory term used against women in african american culture. Most women I know would be upset to be called this term. Too bad this distracts from a neat card idea.

Silvermoon Spirit Healer seems like a fun Priest card, quite similar to Onyx Bishop, but as the effect can be used again, high priority target to kill. So it costing 6 mana in total to use the effect seems fair, and otherwise you have a 4 mana 3/5 which is decent.
I like the effect of jade Spiritualist a lot and it seems better balanced than Aspiring Alchemist. Very cool design :)
Tnx MrZNF, am glad you understand the strength of the card.
What flavor does it have? The name to the art? It has no correlation to its effect at all. Murladin is normally a reference to murloc paladin decks, Gillidan would have been better. Yeah, I'm a little bitter I lost to a lazy murloc design. Throw those stats and that effect on any other art and it gets 1/4 votes.
I honestly thought my card had a unique effect and tried to tell a story. The doctor advertises being "affordable" (low cost) considering the high quality services (stats) he boasts. But it was too good to be true and now he is under investigation for negligence and malpractice and so his license is suspended, (so he can't use Lesser Heal on any patients), pending the findings of the investigation. But yeah Murladin is oozing with flavor.
I voted Tanglewood since that actually had flavor between the name, art, effect and association with Druid.

What are you happy about? That this was basically a naming competition, not a design competition?

It's irrelevant, because that's not why it won.
There's no need for relevance, you asked what I'm happy about. I'm happy the card won

Your comments were literal. And there's a difference between a question being rhetorical and not meaning something literally. Rhetorical questions aren't figures of speech.
