Bolf is my favorite. The stats and effect go really well together for 4 mana. He's like a mini-Icehowl in a way. He can't go face or he'll kill himself, he sucks against weapon classes, but he's great for killing minions. I like him and I've always enjoyed cards like Fel Reaver and Deathwing with very high risks for very high stat lines.
My three votes:
Alter Time: Potentially broken, but just crazy enough that I'd like to see it in action. A fascinating card to play around. It's not really broken on its own, but the ability to have four Ice Blocks is the issue. It would be cool to have this card in a world where Ice Block didn't exist. A great concept.
Merchant of Venice: A cool take on Flame Imp. It's balanced. It might not be powerful enough to see play or it might be insane.
Bolf, Corrupted Protector: It took me a full minute to wrap my head around this card. Unlike the real Bolf, this could actually see play. Just a very clever and excellent design.
It's funny how easy it is to tell which card will win the second we see it.
I voted for it and Goblin Suicide Bomber, I like the simplicity of the card.
Custom cards :
CLASSES : Alchemist (CCC#5 | Phase V) | Chef (CCC#4)
EXPANSIONS : Year of the Scorpion (Year Comp)
Willing sacrifice seems like a really cool card to me, and obviously if its an unacceptable amount of damage, it doesn't summon a minion. possibly could be a hunter hero power in terms of cost though.
Good luck to anyone!
Maybe... nah nah nah nah
Bolf is my favourite. Though, health-buffing classes will benefit greatly from it being a 8/8. I think it should have stats such as 8/6 so that such a thing wouldn't be as abused as much :X
I like Merchant of Venice for the unique flavour and because I love The Merchant of Venice. Alter Time is another interesting card that kinda reminds me of Ice Block, but it's cooler.
The Nexus comes to the Inn with my set of Heroes of the Storm Legendaries!
I really like Distracted Bodyguard, because the flavour of it is quite clever and I'm always a fan of a cohesive concept. A lot of great entries this week, people really took this theme in interesting directions.
You can find me here! Good luck everyone!
Distracted Bodyguard is not the card we deserve, but the card we need. If this card existed I'd maybe enjoy the game as I used to before naxxramas.
No actual SMOrc cards? FeelsBadMan
Oh I was just kidding, the cards here all have very peculiar and cool designs. The balance of the cards does not seem to be correct, however. I'd really like Blood Pact to cost 4 mana (because it is a handy reach card if you have another source of damage), Charged Mine to deal less damage (it is too powerful in Zoo), Soul Pact to be more costly (as it stands, it is much better than Pit Lord), etc.
Imo Alter Time is really well made Mage secret. Mark of Kathra'Natir and Point-Blank Shot have the makings of creating new deck archetypes, are also pretty cool.
My greatest achievement yet:
Not disenchanting my double Shadowbomber
I dislike that Blood Pact, Merchant of Venice and Saltier Dog made the finals.
Blood Pact is unclear in its effect.
Merchant of Venice references a real life place.
Saltier Dog is unclear and unimaginative.
Check out The Inn: Hearthstone Group
yeah, but "Mark of Kathra'natir" looks like green girl is doing something to her pussy
and the yellow lights appear around
is it ok at all ?
Custom cards :
CLASSES : Alchemist (CCC#5 | Phase V) | Chef (CCC#4)
EXPANSIONS : Year of the Scorpion (Year Comp)
I voted "Alter Time" because It feels like a possible real card in Hearthstone and "Burning Imp" because It implements a mechanic that should more focused for the Warlock class, which has sinergy with auto-damage.
Good luck :)
Charged Mine would be a nightmare to play against Hunters. Buffing one into Vaporize would suck too.
Oh my god, the amount of votes we got for this competition is absurd. I guess everybody really liked this theme. O_O
MASSIVE congrats to RandomScribbles! =D
WTF? How are there so many votes? I don't think a weekly competition has ever gotten this many.
Come Play Make the Keyword!!!
Check out my Worgen Class in the Class Competition
I don't want to be nitpicking, but why does t say that Willing Sacrifice got 3rd place? It's actually 6th.
