Hands down the best card in the set that's been revealed so far.
And I have no idea why people keep saying this is a nerf to shredder. Out of the extremely high number of two drops that exist in the game, this only makes the odds of getting a terrible one slightly worse, to the point that it's almost completely negligible. Not to mention all of the other reasonable 2 drops the set will introduce that are fine to get off shredder which will counteract the odds of getting this one. The odds will remain close to the same as it is now of getting a really bad pull, maybe very slightly worse but it won't affect much of anything.
So far Blizz is 2/2 on Druid cards. I am absolutely salivating over the options now available to Druids for deck-building. Druid became arguably the most one-dimensional class, with very little development given to them over the course of 3 expansions. Admittedly, I was getting a little tired of the stale Combo/Ramp style of play. However, with this thing there are so many new options open: Wailing Soul Druid might actually become viable, buff-based decks with this and the new 3/4 legendaries, Aggro Druid gets its own version of Wild Growth now, not to mention the wealth of options it now gives to classic Combo/Ramp.
People who are saying this will never see play because there's very little room to cut from Druid decks are missing the point that this is going to be a huge expansion and nothing will be the same after. Druid decks have seen a huge shift in their builds with each expansion too; why would this be any different? Plus, if you really want to get down to it, you could easily cut a 5-drop, a copy of FoN, a Chow, etc. Not all decks are set in stone. This card only makes the chances of Ramping a lot higher and give Druids more consistency in that strategy.
I see this as a viable replacement for Kezan Mystic.
Counters Mirror Entity and Freezing trap pretty hard. Also forces Face hunter to trade. Essentially does everything you need from Kezan except take Explosive traps (and can even trigger those without dying) and gives you extra utility for every other matchup.
Awesome card IMHO. I might have to craft some recombobulators for extra fun now.
Wouldnt this be good with youthful panda or simlar mechanic to develop a even faster ramp?
Yes, but this will require a lot of theory crafting to work, I'm sure we will see decks based around it, but that will take some time. None the less This is gonna be an insta craft for me!
HA! I HAD THIS EXACT IDEA BUT IT WAS FOR ALL CLASS!
"If you try to keep her quiet, you're gonna have a bad time."
Overview: Azure Magus is a very interesting card. It gives a temporary Wild Growth effect that all classes can use, however when it dies it destroys one of your Mana Crystals. This can be used in multiple different classes and decks for completely different reasons. It will not be a good idea to silence this minion if you are the one facing it. As thedeathrattle won't activate, permanently giving your opponent a Wild Growth effect.
Balance: There is no doubt that this minion is powerful. However it lacks board presence, so while you might get an extra mana crystal for a turn because of its high health. It won't matter much if the opponent just gains a bunch of tempo from it. It is a Dragon which really helps with Dragon themed decks, but there are so many must haves in a Dragon deck that this may not make the cut.
Synergies: As a mentioned before, there can be multiple reasons why a person may play this card. One would be if one would build a self silence deck with Ancient Watchers and Wailing Souls. Another would be buff decks like Dragon Paladin, which would deincentivise the opponent to silence your Azure Magus. You could make a bounce deck with Rogue to proc its abilities multiple times so you can get more Mana Crystals with Shadowstep and Youthful Brewmaster. The card is very flexible and very interesting.
Good card, because it has no downsides. If it gets killed instantly, it baited removal, while not putting you at disadvantage. Think about it this way - if it lives, you are ahead, because of accelerating your mana distribution. If it dies, you loose nothing, in card advantage it's 1for1, 1 removal less to deal with. Therefore AT WORST it is River Crocolisk with "KILL ME" written on it. So it's a good card. Don't know if it ends being staple or not, I am not a Druid player, but at first look you easily see it's decent and balanced.
This is the correct view of this card. If it doesn't die instantly and cost your opponent a card, you profit from every bonus mana that you can spend. It just works. Not saying that it is a must-include, just that its good enough.
Feel this card is a tad overpowered, but we'll see even if on paper it looks good if it's able to pierce the meta or remains like Troggzor.
It's essentially a Mech-Warper if your opponent can't remove it on turn 2, and comes with the extra chance of being able to silence it (although I don't feel it's that great of a play) for a 2/3 and a 0 mana Wild Growth. But unlike Mechwarper works for spells as well and non-mech minions ofc.
Not sure shredder is that bad now. So far TGT has added 3 cards you would want from shredder and 3 you wouldn't. Though, the ones you wouldn't want definitely have a big drawback.

Great way to get ahead for a turn and gain board control instead of just playing a Wild Growth and passing.
Strong card!
I'm probably weird but that riding girl (night elf?) has such beautiful legs, they are so delightly laid out and tightly fit to the steed.
Can't wait for golden version and her voiceovers.

Galavant Animation
Absolutely brilliant Arena card. Kinda mad to get it from a Shredder.

Don't know what to sub for this card ...

its basically sturdier, more versatile version of pint sized summoner, sounds good enough to me
Compare it to Mechwarper it's kinda hard to remove early ..
edit: I thought it was as strong as Mechwarper actually it's kinda different oops :/ mechwarper for 1 card 1 turn later.

Blizzard listening to the community?!
This is a really cool card, can't wait to see it in play

Reincarnation shaman buff!
This pops out of a shredder, double reincarnate/ancestral spirit and destroy 5 of the opponents mana crystals.

So this is Hearthstone's birds of paradise with the added benefit of getting you a card in late game, i like this card, :3

Why is it 2/3 instead of 3/2? Damn, it's a grill riding a cat, she should hit for more...
Very cool
