Am I the only one who thinks that this card is really good when used with the correct classes?
Correct classes being Mage, Paladin, Druid and Rogue (as they can clear the hopefully 1-health minion with their hero power.)
I believe this card is super OP when used with Rogue, as you usually already have your dagger out. I recently created a Rogue deck (will be posting soon) which used Hungry Dragon, I proceeded to go on a 10 win streak and went from rank 20 to rank 5 in 2 days...
Aside from the cards stats and stuff, what are your thoughts on the cards artwork? The golden version is simply amazing! It's personally my favourite new card.
Finally anyone know the stats of getting a 1-health, 2-health or 3-health minion?
I use this in my Paladin deck which runs 2 Muster for Battle. Light's Justice can really help clear those one drops and sometimes you can just sacrifice one extra dude. Works pretty well :D.

Yeah, exactly my thoughts! In my opinion, Rogue and Paladin are the two best classes for Hungry Dragon
I can't wait for the next wing to come out and unlock all cards for a complete Dragodin deck :3
This card has never really pulled my ass out of the fire. Nor has my opponent had too much trouble dealing with it when i drop it. Same has gone for Firegaurd destroyer. Good cards but ultimately no wow factor to them and when you're behind, its the last thing you want to drop down.

You are completely right, Hungry Dragon is quite an aggressive card, but if you manage to get your opponent to waste some removal on it instead of one of your other big cards, I think that's a big plus. Regarding being behind and playing Hungry Dragon, all decks have removal, if that's the only card you've got and you have no other removal for the 1-drop, you're pretty much going to lose anyway.
It does seem like it definitely has potential in Rogue in Paladin, but I feel as if the card is overrated for its stats vs. its effect. Sure, it can be strong, especially if you have a weapon to clear it out, but Piloted Shredder is far superior in terms of vanilla usage.
Now, in Dragon decks, it's a different story. Muster for Battle Turn 3 into Hungry Dragon Turn 4 and easily killing the spawned minion makes the Paladin Dragon archetype that much better.

It's a very hard choice, I think neither Shredder or Hungry Dragon are specifically better than each other. Both have RNG effects which can win you a game or screw you over (doomsayer XD.) Shredder is definitely a better card to drop on the board when behind, but can't really stretch out a win. Whereas Hungry Dragon can maybe snatch you a victory, but would be less than optimal to play when behind and with the inability to clear the 1-drop minion. Sum it up, Piloted Shredder is a more defensive card, Hungry Dragon is a more offensive card, it really does depend on what deck your playing. There is no denying though, when the last wing comes out, and all dragon cards are released, Hungry Dragon combined with some other cards, will be a very frightening thing!
All though its pretty bad in a control vs control matchup, it's saved me a couple of times when versing hunters XD. The odds are very low for this to happen consistently. The same could be said for Piloted Shredder when you trade into a minion and receive a Doomsayer, which wipes out your board.
Twice now I've received a Dust Devil twice from opponents' Hungry Hungry Dragons, one incident which resulted in my opponent playing Lightbomb to stop it!
Solid card, very interesting, also has been serving me incredibly well in my double Hungry Dragon double Mind Control Tech Mage deck!

It's definitely a solid card, just don't get salty over Hearthstone RNG XD. It'll be interesting how the meta shifts, after the last wing is out!
I know that this isn't the way that it is being referenced by these posts but I have say this. Hungry Dragon came out of my Piloted Sky Golem and killed 2 5 health minions turning the game from a toss up to a guaranteed win for me

It's not that hard: control wins aggro and loses to midrange. Combo should never be included in this equation. I'm a banana. Bananas don't speak English. Found a list on the Wiki:
36 total 1-drops
1 health: 20/36 - 55.55%
2 health: 10/36 - 27.77%
3 health: 5/36 - 13.88%
4 health: 1/36 - 2.77%
Wait there's a 1-mana 4 health minion?!? I'm trying to think what it's called XD.

I still think this card is extremely strong, even if you get the odd Argent Squire
Also thanks for that tip about the cards/golden cards!
