this card looks fun but total crap in competitive play. simply dropping this card will take you to 16 HP, excluding warrior or freeze mage which will continue to have much better alternatives. against Hunter's Mark, BGH, Shadow Word Death, Execute... basically just hit the concede button.
Awesome card - not as strong as people think. 8 Health is so low that there's many times you'll be sitting on 20+ HP and really not want to play this guy.
Lets be honest the only classes that can fully abuse this will be Freeze mage with iceblocks and warriors with a billion armor. Otherwise you play it, the opponent BGHs it and if you dont have a few taunts up or they have burn you instantly die. Being left with 8 life isnt really that great. Would be better if it was a 6/8 for 8 mana. Alternatively if you are desperate you could in theory swing in with major, bgh him yourself, rag hero power doing a total of 17 damage + frostbolt + icelance + icelance for 28. Because the rag hero power is random though you would have to have a clear opponent board to guarantee the combo on the opponent.
I'm pretty sure that all armor will be gone after you get transformed into Rag. Could be good in priest, the dream being that the board is empty and you have a death in your hand: You hit your opponent for 9 with majordomo, death him, and use the hero power for another 8 to the face, still leaving you with 5 leftover mana. Highly unlikely tho.
I could see this in a Paladin deck with an Alexstrasza followup that costs only 7 or even 6 from previously played Dragon Consort and Emperor Thaurissan, allowing you to play Alex and hero power on the same turn.

A super exciting card that would never see a play...unfortunately.
Seriously, 8 points of health is way too low. Even class like Priest/Paladin can burst you down from 8 hp.
May have some synergy with Mage's Ice Block but its effect is too random to build a deck around it. Control Warrior...well no, if you have like 10+ armor and have time to play this on turn 9, you've already won the game.

let me change your mind...
8 health , come on blizzard ... it had the potential to be a broken shit #BibleThump

By the way guys, Prophet Velen would affect this hero power....16 damage for 2 mana? Yes please
Hero with 8 max health, I'm not sure what good that does for you.

have you ever played freeze mage and control warrior? well these 2decks will love this card
Time is money, friend.
This is more flashy play than actually that powerful card. You essentially need to pay 2 mana to use the ability.
However, a mage with Ice Block would love it, not to mention if you have armor stocked up.

I love that it's a deathrattle effect. Play majordomo, if next turn he gets removed you turn into rag, tree of life? :)
you can't use hero power more than once a turn

Now we just need a Ragnaros with legs
Trash.
"The light shall burn you!" - heals face.
You can use hero power twice if you are in shadowform, use hero power, play 2nd Shadowform. So trialqs, idea may be possible.
Rag's max health is 8, unless you to use Alex he then gets 15 max health.

Only 8 life =\ sad
Alex does not "set" your max HP to 15. I think if you Alex Rag as a character you'd end up with 8hp
You do not know the shadowform, hero power, shadowform and hero power combo?

Meta changes the moment you switch your deck.
