Wow I can't believe this, many players were whining about Shaman being the worst class and that it needed stronger cards to be played. Blizzard finally makes good cards and everyone starts whining that Shaman is OP need nerf. Just wait until the next couple expansions and Priest will be the most played with everyone calling for a nerf.
I'm playing as Paladin and I have a Repentance up. On turn 8 my opponent plays Gruul and it's health changes to 1 due too Repentance. He ends his turn and Gruul becomes and 8/2.
I play Baron Geddon, attack my minions to face and end my turn thinking Baron Geddon would kill Gruul. I than realized after I ended my turn that Gruul get's +1/+1 at the end of EACH turn. Than I thought I missplayed, but Gruul didn't gain +1/+1, instead he died from the 2 damage from Baron Geddon.
Is this how it's supposed to work? I thought card abilities activate with whichever was played first just like Deathrattles.
Great story, there was one typo I found. It was "Common now, it will be alright.". It should be "Come on now, it will be alright." Unless that was supposed to be a pun I missed for the cards becoming Commons lol. :)
Blizzard loves to make money, since the holiday season is coming up I think they will be releasing an expansion instead of an adventure. They said before that it's not always going to be the Adventure, Expansion, than Adventure format.
I have to disagree with you there, yes Tuskarr was overestimated, but now people are underestimating the card. He isn't OP but he's a solid drop on turn 3. Tuskarr gives you a huge tempo swing when it summon Totem Golem, gives you health and a taunt against aggro when it summons Vitality totem, give you a taunt and card draw when it summons Mana Tide Totem, and the ability to trade up with Flametongue Totem. As for the other 4 totems, they help in their own way and establish board presence which Shaman needs to do to win.
I'm also not feeling the Feral Spirits replacement, another reason why Tuskarr is good is because it doesn't have overload. So many times I'm just left with one wolf and can only hero power on turn 4. Which in my opinion is a bigger tempo loss.
I only run one Tuskarr in my deck, which has won me a lot of games due to the reasons I said above.
It'd be nice to have a legendary that helps with shaman's weaknesses. Like a 5 mana 4/5 Battlecry restore 6 health to your hero and Deathrattle draw 1 card.
Wow 2 recent decks that have both Doomhammer and Al'Akir in it. Is this going to be a thing now? Not that I'm complaining, because I like it and it makes sense. But why wasn't it ever used before?
I was watching Kripp earlier today and I saw that he was "attempting" to fatigue the Mage Class Challenge. For the time I was there, he wasn't able to succeed in any of his numerous attempts. So I decided to give it a shot, and was able to do it on my 2nd try. So have any of you tried this and if you did, did you win? How many attempts did it take?
I've been getting tired of having my shredders dealt with so easily with just 3 health, but with this guy he's going to be staying on the board for a while and be doing some damage. He'll either eat up hard removal/silence or get good trades in.
