Could Echo also synergize with Twilight Drake and Mountain Giant given the massive hand size this card can generate?
I'd also imagine that Echo could work together with Cult Master, given that you've already duplicated the minions that you're sacrificing for card draw.
Not sure why my thread on this card (which was created 15 minutes earlier) which already had 2 pages of responses was deleted... but ok. Anyway the card is really good in my opinion, especially when it fetches another Ragnaros, Ysera, Alextrasa and things like Molten Giant (which might cost 0).
In aggro this is pretty good if your stuff survives that is. In everything else it is kind of a win more card. This works well with sludge-belcher and Cairne though
This won't work well with current Aggro Mage, but I could definitely see a new, stickier Aggro Mage (probably Mechs) that could make good use of this.
But then there's also just all the nutty Legendary duplications you could do with this ... or a super-scary Murloc swarm ... SO many possibilities. Definitely one of the most interesting cards in the set.
This makes me want to try aggro mage, or a non secret mage deck. Its simply amazing. As long as you have some board presence its win. If youre ahead this seals teh deal. I will not want to see this if im topdecking. Thats the only downside.

You've posted this, or something similar to this, on almost every GvG new card thread I've read today. They probably deleted your thread because they wanted an official thread started by a Hearthpwn Moderator, instead of 2 threads that may share similar subjects.

That's not the case at all actually. I started 7 threads, and 3 were randomly closed. Those are the only 3 I mentioned something on, mostly to give my input on the card, but also ask why? If they wanted them started by mods, then why have my other threads not been closed? Anyway lets not get off topic here. In regards to what people are saying about the cards value in aggro, I have to agree. I didn't see it at first but that's the beauty of this game.

Actually this card is cool and I like that aggro mage has a chance now (freeze to hold your weenie board that emptied your hand. filler er right back up)
This has weird echoing ooze synergies, to the point where I'm going to need a while to wrap my brain around how that will work. So does it copy minions as they are with buffs and all or will it just give you the base card like duplicate?
I really like this with, as others have mentioned, Molten Giants. If you're low on health (less than 10) and you're hidden behind an ice block, you could summon a few Molten Giants + (1) Sunfury Protector on the field. Then Wee Spellstopper to protect your giants. Its 10 mana total, but it could save you...
The only problem is that you have to have everything in your hand to make it work. But i think it will have a place in a lot of mage decks.
I like this card. I'll probably play this card. Between this and Goblin Blastmage, mage gets two good cards from GvG, and a couple more that might be swapped in well enough.
But. I can't help but think it's really saying, "Kezan Mystic messes up a lot of mage decks, so we're going to replace Duplicate." When I see it that way, and consider the Flame Leviathan, I can't help but think mage gets pretty junked on in this expansion.
Maybe the meta will change to make mages more playable as they already stand. But at the moment the cards are pretty disappointing.

Like a super duplicate. I think this card will be tested in every kind of mage deck. It allows you to refill your hand as aggro for example.

Ice Block. Get below 10 health. Play Molten Giants for 0. Echo of Medivh. Play more free giants. Echo again... Fill your board with giants on turn 8.
Not sure about aggro. Only zoo can hold aboard of minions well. All others tends to have their minions die.
This is a board control card. Midrange. Put down an impressive board without any card draw. Do this to refill your hand.
The only question is whether a minion based board control mage deck is viable.
One does not simply walk into Mordor,
unless they want to be the best they can be.

Mage is a great class still, it just sucks against Hunter and Zoo, which are a good portion of the current meta.

OOOOH the possibilities.
I'm going to try to tinker with my Duplicate deck, and get some "Duplicate, Echoes, plus Kel'Thuzad" neverending control going on.
Faceless a Malorne, play this thing, and have a fun day with Druid.
You can control what you dupe with this card, you can't do that with duplicate. I don't see your point at all.
