Seeing your winrate against Druids and comparing it to mine i suppose i must be doing something wrong in the mirror. I removed 1 Scales for the DK and Aya for a Savage Roar. Any other class rarely stand a chance against the deck, except for those Priests snowballing with Yshaarj. Maybe i should try one Strongshell Scavenger or play a bit more after reading the entire article, which i haven't read before.
I'm surprised to see that Zoo still works these days. I've been away from HS for a few months, missed Karazhan and MSG. (not to mention the cardbacks =/)
I only opened the free packs from the quests, so i had to go with Zoo and to my surprise it was extremely successful against Jade Druids. On the other hand, it became impossible to win against Renolock. I'm saying this in comparison to previous versions of Renolock. I may be wrong or my zoo deck may be outdated without some new cards, but that's my impression. Guess i'll have to make 100g per day to catch up.
Looks like the cheapest deck for me right now. Been away from the game for almost a year, i only opened the MSG packs from the quests, but i'll be patient with the rares and commons, although i may have to craft Aya and Patches. Sounds like a good deck to come back to HS.
What was the issue with Mad Scientist and SI:7? A new bug with this expansion or they finally decided to change the fact that your opponent get a copy of your SI:7?
It's a shame to see that the only legendaries i got from my packs are the ones that i'm probably safe disenchanting. I know it's a work in progress and there may be hope one day, but c'mon... Some legendaries are just bad and people know that.
I tried my Shifter Zerus in zoo and some shaman decks with no success, it's pointless to keep a card hoping for something out of nowhere. I'm also not wasting my time with Mukla and Yogg, so i think i'll go with the good and old legendaries that i still miss, Gromm and maybe Tirion if i decide to play a non-deathrattle paladin, otherwise N'Zoth needs to be crafted too.
Since i miss Eternal Sentinel and a second Doomhammer, i tested this deck with 2 Stormcrack. I'm im love with this card because it can easily kill other Totem Golens, Flamewakers, Twlight Elders and even a Flamewreathed Faceless, since the deck contains argent squires and feral spirits to add the missing damage. Even liking the card, i wish it could target heroes too, because a lot of times i ended up needing that extra damage and a lightning bolt would have been game.
I didn't played that many games, maybe a total of 10 with 7 wins or so, with winstreaks at the beginning but then i started to see some Druids, 4 of them in a row. The big taunts were a problem... Druid of the Claw into Dark Arakkoa and Ancient of War is a real pain. Not to mention the Twin Emperors as a finisher. Since the ladder can change every second i didn't bother adding double Hex, but it's a nice suggestion for those facing the same problem. Anyway, i'll keep playing with this deck until the next season and maybe craft the cards i'm missing to see the difference.
I needed this to escape from the frustration of this Old Gods expansion... I almost forgot how amazing these patches are and now i want to go back to read the patch from last year. "Savage Roar now also turns off squelch and removes the cooldown on emotes."
Deathlord has been a pain for me in this last week. It's funny because last year i could classify him as a bad card, almost like Fel Reaver, but he's a good card now, maybe because Priests are not afraid to play it on turn 3 anymore. When i'm using Druid and can finally kill it, it will bring a Shade if it is turn 5 and a big minion if it's turn 6, haha. Happened with every Priest in the last week, but i'm not mad at the class or the card, just sharing the most influent factor that is denying my climb.
Rank 5 again, 6 days left... I'm losing hope, so i guess it's time to experiment with some inner fire Priest.
I came here to post almost the same thing, except for that aggro part. Varian played with my feelings, the hype was so real that after getting him from a pack i was absolutely fine if no more legendaries decided to show up. I only used him once... In casual... So sad. :(
NA is a mess right now around rank 4 and 3. Secret Paladin, Zoo and Druid with random Priests and Warriors here and there. I'm not liking this situation because i'm also playing those 3 classes, which results in good matchup, bad matchup, win, lose, win, lose. When Paladins were a bit more dominant it was easier to go for a counter, now it's simply pure variation.
Maybe it's time to try some "original" decks.
