This doesn't hit face or require you to have a minion on board. A better comparison would be Bomb Lobber which actually saw a little bit of play in control Warrior after GVG, or Flamecannon which was in every Tempo Mage deck. Compared to Bomb Lobber, this is better when your opponent only has 1 minion (which was already the best time to play Bomb Lobber) since it does 1 more damage and has 1 more health and its also better when your opponent has multiple smaller minions. For example, if your opponent has a 4/3 and a 3/2 on board and you have no other minions this is guaranteed to kill both of them because none of the missiles can go face.
This is pretty good in the right meta. But right now midrange decks are pretty much non-existing because they lose to all the decks out there that ignores the board and then go over the top and do broken stuff in the late game. This card is really not helping that archetype. It's pretty much a 3/4 - do nothing against those decks. Making it a very conditional card. Especially considering all the combo support this expansion has to offer.
I don't think that this is what the mech archetype needed. Right now I don't think that the mech support is there. Elementals has a lot more potential but didn't make it in the end. It's of course too early to tell.
This card is actually pretty good despite the restrictions and cost. Even against control decks or mech decks you can combo this with your own Acolyte of Pain to draw 3 cards.
Bomb lobber says hi.. the only thing that makes it playable in my opinion is that it’s a mech
And execution, and Acolyte of pain and armor smith. I mean compare this to a Vilespine Slayer. A 3 mana 3/4 body glued to what is essentially a cinderstorm that is guaranteed to not waste shots on face. I think it compares favorably. Factor in the fact that Vilespine is a two card combo and Dynomatic will often combine well with a second card but kill more than one thing and I think we have the recipe for a super underrated card!
Also, I want to mention the fact that the battlecry synergizes well with azalina in combating Shudderwock since it will kill your own shudders. I think this sees play at least as a one of in control warrior decks.
yeah, even tho Warrior is highly favored against Odd Pally anyway, so this card is basically overkill
Not really. One of warriors strongest tools to beat Odd Paladin is Garrosh. If Dr. Boom is replacing Scourgelord then warrior will need more ways to interact with board flood deck. I mean yes, The whirlwind effects and armor gain in warrior are strong, but you are underestimating paladin's ability to rebuild board.
I've seen my opponents play this card and each time it was excellent value. It removes a single 5/5, a 3/2+3/3, a 3/4+1/1, 5 1/1s - the comeback value is great. This is 3 mana body plus a 3 mana spell, with no downside or conditions.

Worse Goblin Blastmage
not exactly going to be good if mech decks turn out to be popular, for obvious reasons. haha
Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.
Actually I think it still could be. In cases like that you can use it to target your own stuff. Acolyte of Pain or Rotface or whatever.

Combo with Blackhowl Gunspire for 15 to the face, if the tower is the only thing on the board, when it is played.

Dealing 5 damage and getting Rush with with Dr. Boom is pretty good.
I think this card is being underrated.

Hearthstone is a game of "copy and pasting"
