Everyone is thinking about how they are going to clear Odd Paladin boards but what about Grim Patron in Wild? This card basically gives you a board full of Patrons.
Pretty good card. Won't always be easy to use - pretty much if you have non-mechs or your opponent has mechs - but at its best it's basically a comboless Vilespine Slayer.
I suspect many people here think this card is bad because there will be tons of mech decks played. But imo warrior is the only class that will end up playing a full on mech deck by the time the meta stabilizes which would make this card very solid.

That comparison
or just use a 3/4 minion for 3 mana instead. Sorry. couldn't resist
on topic: minion is good in a mech deck not only because it can be magnetized but is also a great board threat.

Sorry , even comboless Vilespine Slayer cant kill a board of silver hand recruit or a 4/3 and a 3/2 . Slayer better vs >5 health minion. This card better at everything else. Unless it is a Mech, which only 3 class may play them this expansion
I think the card is good. I just don't think your argument is valid.
It is mostly free though. It's control warrior. Stats don't really matter much. Activators do.
I agree, the cost of having worse stats is pretty negligible. Even if the deck ends up not being control, but tempo oriented (fingers crossed, but probably not), this still provides enough tempo to make up for the stat difference.
Goblin Blastmage with the added benefit that it's a boardclear and doesn't rely on not hitting face when you want to actually clear but his stats are lowish, at least blastmage had a 4 drop statline

Slightly worse Goblin Blastmage Maybe not so amazing, but literally meta-defining.
This card one of the staples that will enable MechWarrior.

Bomb Lobber got played in Control Warrior. This is a Bomb Lobber thats better against aggro.
The last thing Warrior needs is help vs aggro, they are literally the best class at beating aggro decks.
So far looks like besides Security Rover there will only be odd-cards for warrior this exp.
It has to be snakes.
Seems nice
Better than it looks, but prolly not good enough
The definition of ... meh? Might be good... or bad... or just OK? It’s just not impressive.
Fixed
Pretty bad even in mech decks. Even hits hero still would be bad.
At what point did the great Hearthpwn group-think decide that free damage was bad?
It's not free. It comes at the expense of stats.

Bomb lobber says hi.. the only thing that makes it playable in my opinion is that it’s a mech
