"Art for Witchwood Grizzly has been adjusted" says Blizzard. Adjusted to what exactly ? Is there any reason for this ?
I'm really, really upset : I crafted 2 golden Witchwood grizzlies because I LOVED the art, and now they've changed it ! I wan't my dust back !
Ok , I'm joking, I didn't craft any golden grizzlies, but all the same, I don't care much for this gratuitous, unmotivated change of artwork, and I'm curious of why it happened.

They are trying to make card art line-up better with tribes, lore, etc.

To be as blunt as I possibly can.
They changed the art because some people are to retarded to see that it's a bear and therefor a beast.
Less bluntly would be, Blizzard saw that it could cause trouble for those players who are mentally impaired with the whole blue ghostly appearance. Since it's a ghost does it not forfeit the beast tag since all beasts before are alive?
So they changed it to its current appearance to make it look more "beastly".
Imho, the new art is worse, still good, but worse, it lost it's 'magical' or rather 'haunted/ghostly' feel, and is now instead just a normal bear, a normal f*cking bear... is Blizzard serious...?
It's likely because of Feral Spirit. They don't want spirit animals to be Beasts.
But this makes less sense when you consider the Ethereal Fox, Ghost Murloc and Dragon Spirits. And then they go and make Omega Defender not a Mech.
The bears still look nice golden imo. I think whining about the art change is baby-ish. The moonkin is what should offer a dust refund at the very least.
Does anyone else find it strange that the bear still has a ghostly blue 'aura' around it? The art does match the name and tags better, but they left some of the original blue art in the background- perhaps because changing the golden animation was too much work?
you can be joking about this but what if you crafted a golden card because you really liked that art and then they change it? whatcha gonna do?
That would be tough! And sad.
I would be pissed :) But we must remember we are not entitled to anything. We buy everything on Blizzard’s terms. We do not own the cards on our accounts, Blizzard do.
And the new policy is they do not offer refund unless a win-rate drastically decreases which is a sad change IMO.

I can totally see people screaming refund... Also, the reason why is literally on the front page of hearthpwn - twice.
Thanks.

Don't mind me just passing by

The original art was great. Now it looks like hot garbage.
.
he looked A LOT better before
He did indeed.

I'm pleased with the change because the ghost bear did not look like a beast.
"Unless you do your best, the day will come when, tired and hungry, you will halt just short of the goal you were ordered to reach." - Patton
Ghost Light Angler still makes sense in the Murloc tribe, much like depth fish can shine with ghostly lights, while being transparent.
Blink Fox is not ethereal. She's just charged with the Witchwood magic aura (much like current Bear)
No physical bears can be transparent, so the change makes sense.
Ghostly Charger should have been changed as well, either art or tribe.
Many other cards need similar adjustments.
