I really cannot understand why people would think this is an amazing card. fal‘dorei strider Was just good enough but only in a deck that draws a lot. And it gets played for free. This is in your deck and you have to play it. It only make sense with a few charge minions (maybe rush as well) and is in a class with almost no carddraw.
edit: and it is terrible tempo.
It’s good because it’s basically 1mana +3+3. And because hunter doesn’t have so much draw, it enhances the topdeck.
So first time you play it on turn 5, you have a 4/4 Stonetusk. Then you have two more 4/4 charge Stonetusks for 1 mana. The third one is a 7/7 with charge because you cast the second Dire Frenzy. THEN you have three more 1-mana 7/7 charge Stonetusks in your deck.
This is ridiculous.
Could be wrong but I’m fairly certain that the second set of stonetusks would be 4/4’s again. It sounds like only the buff you are casting at the time gets put on the minion. The original buff wouldn’t be included. Now I could be wrong but then I would assume that all buffs would stay on it if this could happen.
Still, this would be quite strong, since you can also discover more copies of your 1-mana 4/4 charge via Stitched Tracker.
I really like this card. Almost-BoK with a restriction that, in hunter, isn't too restrictive at all, then throws some high tempo+value cards in your deck.
Hell, even this on turn 5 with Stonetusk Boar is reaaaally strong. Sure, the 4/4 charge for 5 may not be the greatest thing in the world - but when you're later topdecking 4/4 chargers for 1, that's pretty good.
Extra points if you put it on something with a great battlecry or deathrattle, thus giving you extra iterations of those abilities in your deck.
It's definitely a high value card, so that won't be what stops it from seeing play. If it doesn't see play, it'll just be due to an appropriate shell not being able to be built around it.

Yeah... not really. I mean enhancing topdeck is fine, but relying on topdecking is usually a fail strategy in hearthstone. And it is a 1 mana +3/+3 after you drew all copies. How often will that happen. But we will see.

Angry Chicken with Rush aura and buff would be yum. Don't think Abominable Bowman would summon a buffed beast, guess it would be kind of like the Warlock DK summon.

This can be good with quest, but it isn't odd. :(

3x 0 mana 4/4 pinguin seems good

Angry Chicken new meta incoming!
I wonder if Abominable Bowman summons a fully buffed Stonetusk or merely a 1/1.

Guys, don't get too hyped about this card. Quest Hunter probs won't see play and this is a win-more card. Win-more cards are bad cards.
Changing my vote to 'meta defining' because you will build your whole deck around this card.

I really like the direction Blizz is taking Hunter with this expansion.
I love this card.
WOW that is a bloody good card for Hunter! Amazing!
How about Knuckles with Dire Frenzy and Rush? Too slow even for control?
Edit: In wild, obviously.

Wow, this is a really good card.
